There had been much talk concerning GCW's hierarchy, especially with regards to the MayheM brand and the whereabouts of its General Manager. Rumors were spreading like wildfire, that there were irreconcilable differences between the suggested parties in management or that there were personal reasons impeding the general manager in question from fulfilling her duties. The latter would be correct in this instance. A complete and utter breakdown had followed after receiving life-altering news just a mere week ago. She could not help but feel responsible for it all. Her emotions would not stop at just at guilt, but lower down into the spectrum: anger. She is upset that she involved herself with people whose only care in the world was ultimately themselves. She wasn't just angry at THEM, but she was also angry with herself. How stupid, how gullible was she to actually think her involvement with THEM would benefit her in any way... benefit those close to her.
No more. Things were in dire need of change, and she would deliver in folds. Luckily, when she was down for the count, she found comfort and solace from a person who has stood by her for quite some time now... Radimir Romanov. He plead his loyalty to her like few men would ever do for a woman. His intentions were never vindictive... never malicious. He simply wanted to protect her, which is what she was always exposed to in the younger years of her life... especially in the life she was born in. She couldn't thank him enough, and she couldn't allow herself to love him more for it...
The opening scene. The sound of footsteps is the only sign of any presence within the empty vicinity. A round table, with several chairs... the looming intentions of some sort of meeting to take place rather prevalent to all those who would be watching. Too bad that this only concerns a select few...
But first, to address HER brand and express how things were to "go down" come Absolution. She had done much thinking during her mental breakdown, and it's rather well known what happens... following a woman scorned. In Silvia's case, she starts brainstorming. Yes, good AND bad news to commence in 3, 2, 1...
She walks in from stage left, her wears more business-oriented than her usually casual yet chic ensembles. She's followed in tow by her good friend and personal enforcer, Radimir Romanov... who looks slightly more menacing than he himself usually is. It seems like he isn't happy for some odd reason, which must be a big one considering his stoic nature. Silvia takes her seat in one of the two principle chair around the table. As Radimir assumes his place around the same table, Silvia stares directly into the camera, poised and ready.
For those of you who don't know who I am, my name is Silvia Banks. The man on my left is Radimir Romanov, my personal assistant and MayheM Executive Enforcer. First of all, I'd like to put all the rumors to rest from this moment on, I am and will continue to be at the helm of the MayheM brand. In la mens terms, I still run the MayheM show, despite what has been heard. And with that in mind, I'd like to address what is on the agenda concerning MY show, the number one brand in GCW... MayheM... at GCW's FIRST Pay Per View show, Absolution.
The camera zooms in a bit closer... her head now focused completely within the camera's frame.
The MayheM Championship, the first of the two championships exclusive to the MayheM brand, will be decided in a multi-man over the top rope battle royal at Absolution. On MY order, the four male MayheM representative that were eliminated from the Continental Heavyweight Championship qualifiers and the four female MayheM representatives that were eliminated from the Debutante Championship qualifiers will be placed into the 10-man battle royal FOR the MayheM Championship. But most of you might be asking yourself that I've only accounted for eight of those ten coveted positions. It's simple really. I personally scanned the MayheM roster for two individuals I believe were. in a sense, worthy of having the chance to be the champion of my show. Those two individuals, I am happy to announce, are Brent Starr and Jessie Blair. You both are quite welcome. I expect EVERY participant to show our fans that they will do whatever it takes to be MayheM's first Show Champion. And bear in mind, whoever has the honor of becoming the first MayheM Champion, you WILL be expected to be the champion that represents MayheM in all walks of life... pride for the show you represent being first and foremost.
Now, this brings me to the second MayheM-exclusive championship that will ALSO be decided at this month's Absolution Pay Per View. A championship I have dubbed the Extreme Warfare Championship... with its own, distinctive division that highlights the tougher side of professional wrestling. The main attraction for this championship belt consists of rules that have been kept under wraps until the time comes... that time being January 27th 2008. The participants? The last six competitors in the MayheM Championship Rumble, excluding the crowned champion that night, will be given a second and in some cases third chance in capturing gold in GCW's Road To The Gold themed event Absolution is billed to be. However, to spice things up, the very person responsible for inspiring this innovative division had again inspired me in adding a twist I'm sure ALL of you, meaning our fans, will enjoy. Anyone familiar with the saying "All for one and one for all"? We will be incorporating the first part of this saying thusly. The six competitors that qualify WILL be placed into two three-person tag teams. Yes, each and every one of you MUST rely on the other two wrestlers in your respective team to secure the win. In essence, if you don't work well together, don't expect to advance. Advance? Another question, hmm? Indeed, that six-person tag match, the "All For One, One For Me" match will be yet another qualifier into a Three Way Dance... meaning the very team that wins must soon thereafter fight EACH OTHER in what I like to call... The Global WarZone Match.
She pauses, letting all of this sink in...
You won't be getting a moment's rest, mind you. And don't fret, the rules of said match will be revealed before the bell rings, by yours truly. Be sure to be as attentive as you can be... come that time. I assure you that it'll be quite the spectacle.
Where there would be a grin flashed, there wasn't one. She seems rather serious about all of this.
Finally, I'd like to present to you all, especially for the eyes of GCW's Debutante division, the following video. For those of you who watched the MayheM house show and LockUp!'s first televised show of the season, and need some questions answered... consider this your answer.
The scene picks up where it had been left off.
I ask you once again, Debutantes... do you? You have one hour to ascend the GCW Tower's top floor, meet me in this room, and prove to me that you have what it takes. And believe you me, ALL of you will come to know that having an ADVANTAGE is never a bad thing, especially in a high pressure situation. Therefore, do not under any circumstance pass up this opportunity. You'll regret it. With that said... ready? Set? Go...
The impromptu summoning/announcement ends with the piercing sets of eyes of both Radimir Romanov and Miss Silvia Banks.
OOC: The ''one hour notice" will be considered as a deadline precisely at 11:59 PM eastern standard time on Friday. You must meet with Silvia and plead your case in the hopes of securing an "advantage" in your quarter-final round matches. Thank you.
