Tale of The Tape:
Name: Amy Rhoades
Nickname: "Sapphyre"
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 124 lbs
Nationality: American
Footage is shown of a danky warehouse. The date on the video? The year reads 2006. Amy is seen center stage, with a young, male wrestler, applying a headlock on him, before snapping him down in a takeover, maintaining pressure. She halts in mid-move, looking over to the ring aprons, and is heard saying something as the footage fades out...
"You know, honestly? I didn't think I'd ever have been here, you know?"
The camera fades in on Amy, who is seen watching off in the distance, probably at the footage that was just played for the viewer at home. The background is black, she's dressed in a dark, hooded sweatshirt, her blue bandanna is tied to her head.
"It's all just, really surreal to me, you know? I thought I caught the bum deal of having a little something called pride and individuality to "succeed" in being a puppet... but lo-and-behold... good things must come to those that wait, right?"
Another clip is shown. The expansive sets of World Wrestling Entertainment are seen in the background, with Amy wrestling one of the higher caliber females. Her only spotlight of any type of fame during her developmental years... brought up to job. To make the other woman look good. The other woman? Fell off of the rope trying to do a springboard elbow. Took a lifetime to throw a simple kick... yet it was Amy who was there to "make her look good."
"You know, I... guess I really don't have anything bad to say about the WWE, in all actuality. I mean, it's given me an... edge? In my opinion? Yeah, an edge, in what to do with everything that is thrown at me in this business. Entirely. I mean, I got to see it all... people get signed to their developmental contracts, and it's like, they're the next Rock, you know? All ego... and, nothing really to back it up. No charisma, no talent... just a look, and an "I'm great" attitude. You know, like the "Un-burnable" Veranica Styles... THAT joke. It's only a matter of time, it really is before her eyes are opened. You can't be untouchable for long, sweetie... that's when you lose it all. Like my developmental deal...
-----
It was all just, hard, you know? Something you've struggled for, your life dream, just taken away, pretty much being told "I'm not pretty enough." It cut deep, it killed me, it really did. A lot of people here, who didn't have to put up with that, don't really know how good they have it. Don't know how good it was to have a federation taking anybody, and giving anybody a chance. We had an 18 year old rookie girl given a chance to earn herself the biggest prize in the game... we have a Dominican with a language barrier set to try to make his claim at the Continental Heavyweight Championship, even a hardcore guy looking Aussie... it's just, different from anything I've ever seen where the competitors had to LIVE on illegal substances just to have a shadow of a chance to please their boss. It's got me here... I'm living proof of being who you want to be and it will work out... I didn't give in to the corporate hellspawn, and now I've got one of the biggest chances of my lifetime and the history of this company...
-----
The Debutante Championship... You know what? I have what it takes to become THE Top Debutante... and I won't be derailed. I've got the drive, I've got the hunger and forced starvation from my situations to make me one of, if not the biggest threats in this tournament. Three, five, ten matches in one night? I'll go through each and every single, fucking, one, of, them... just to prove myself. Just to grab that brass ring that's been held from me for so long... I'll die doing it... I swear to God I will. I won't be able to walk for a week, just to be able to make my claim... Just to finally have what I want, what I deserve, so badly...
Boston Star? Yeah, me and her gelled really well, before and during the match... but friendships are put aside in this. Given your experience, I hope you realize it just as much as I do...
Veranica? She can get bent, and burnt, "Miss Un-burnable..." that's all I have to say about that one...
Lessien? I haven't had the pleasure of meeting this individual yet... but from what I see, she's a monstrosity... definitely one that I'll have to be weary of if I fight her... but I think my aerial assaults can take down her dirty game of cat and mouse that I've seen from her...
Angel Storm? A big name, I've heard it before... and she's even had some major women's gold before, hasn't she? Well, Angel... this isn't your time... it's mine. You may be proven, but you've got the hungry bitch right her ready to step on every head to prove herself. Be ready...
Kelly Monarch? The girl looks like she's got spunk, and seems down to earth and all... but is she even focused for this? She looks like a party girl to me... but, she can really take a beating, I'll give her that...
Shelby Steele? I've seen her, and I've heard Boston talk about her... and wow. That's all I've got to say... She single handedly is my biggest threat in this...
Jennifer Drew? Another well respected performer, and one that I look forward to facing...
----
My predictions, though? Me... first Global Championship Wrestling, Debutante Champion. I won't stop until I succeed... I swear that I'll succeed. They'll have to literally kill me to keep me down in this. Amy Rhoades, I'm going to be the one to watch..."
The interview fades out on Amy, leaving the Absolution logo sitting on the screen.
