Proving Grounds(Open Challenge)

Kelly stood in the middle of the ring. Soaking in the cheers. Everyone was cheering. They had reason to. Last time they saw her, was when she was raising her arms in the air, after winning the womans battle royal at Exodus. They loved her. And she loved all of them. The fans were alway the best when you were winning. So it was time to keep things going. She had finally recovered from that battle royal and the beating she took at the house show. But she was here. And she was set on getting herself a spot in the tournments that were set come Absolution.

The fans kept cheering. Thye knew why she was out here. Everyone did.

So I'm standing here, to let you all know, and to let you all show how I'm going to be the first Debutante Champion, of GCW. You all saw me pull that battle royal out. Some of you can call it beginners luck. I really don't care. Because you know it was true skill. You can talk about how I got whooped by Shelby Steele, and I'll ask you, how many other superstars do you know, that would keep fighting and keep on going when they were getting beaten like that. I can tell you. very very few would. I am champion material, I wont give up. I won't just lay down without fighting. You'll never see Kelly Monarch go quietly into the night.

The fans cheered again as Kelly just soaked it all up. Yes Lock UP! loved her. Needed her. She smiled as she pointed towards the ramp.

So I'm asking any man or woman who doesn't agree with me, to come on down here, and prove themselves. I'm waiting.

"Livin' on Borrowed Time" begins to play and out walks Stacie. Dressed already in her ring attire. Looking ready for action as she steps out onto the stage. With a microphone already in hand. Her music fades off into the background as she raises the mic to her lips and speaks:

Kelly...Kelly...Kelly. Do you really believe that because you squeaked by five other women, myself included, that you should be thrown into the Debutante Championship tournament ? Pleeeese, girl ! Get over yourself.

Beginner's Luck ? I'd have to say so. Luck was exactly how you was able to beat me in the end. In case you didn't notice. I had things well under control until you pulled off some cheap tactics to pin me.

Course, the battle royal itself is a different playing field compared to say... a singles match ! So... how bout it Kelly ? Me and you in the ring tonight ? Lets see if you can go 2-0 and become 'champion material' as you say you are.

Fact is, I really don't think you can do it. True, I didn't win the battle royal. But granted that it was my first wrestling match ever. I came THAT CLOSE to winning it.

Tonight, if you so happen to accept my challenge. I will beat you. And by doing so. Miss Masters should have no problem selecting me as being a LockUP representative for the tournament.

Stacie lowers the mic.

Kelly smiled as she looked at Stacie.


You came soo close didn't you. But guess what? You didn't win that battle royal. I did. And cheap tactics? So because you can handle a match, and be winning? But yet still lose? That makes you great how? That makes you worth anyones time how? You remember that kick I laid you out with?I'm pretty sure I went into our little singles match hurting, a lot worse then you were, but still, I pulled it out over you. If you really wanna make me look that much better then you? Then go for it. I accept your challenge. I'll let you lose to me for a second time.


Kelly smiled. She knew, she just knew this wouldn't be the last time these two would be standing here, maybe the rolls would be reversed next time, maybe not. But Kelly knew, this was something that would be happening again.
