New City, New(?) Competition (Open Challenge)

GCW Exodus was now live in houses across the world and the wrestling fans were probably close to overgasping from all the surprise returns and big debuts. Early in the show “Strawberry Gashes” by Jack off Jill plays and a handful of people who know what that almost certainly meant start cheering. They’re joined by the rest of the audience when out walks a smiling Jennifer Drew in her jeans and her favorite black tank with a hot pink skull and crossbones on the front. She deliberately pauses on the stage, selling the moment a bit then throws up the horns before walking to the ring high fiving, posing for photos and signing everything shoved in her direction.

As she makes it into the ring and stands poised with a microphone in hand her music and the cheers die down and they’re replaced with a nice big

“Welcome Back, Welcome Back”

She takes a moment to stroll around the ring savoring the attention but does a quick throat cutting motion once she was ready to move on.

I had to stop you there, but God I missed that. Thank you for validating my existence GCW. I thought everyone still had a special little place in their hearts for Jennifer Drew and maybe I'm right. See I was thinking the same thing about a month ago when I was sitting at home and I heard pro wrestling, Chicago, soon and I said hmmmm…

She strokes her chin for a moment.

So, I spent about a half an hour doing some serious research calling up sources, hitting the streets, poring over SEC filings, then I got bored and just called someone and they said it'd be cool if I showed. But more than that I know this is where the competition is. I’ve been in battles with a lot of women out here and I know what this lot is capable of, and call me what you will but I’m ready for another helping. Which is why, I’m here to wrestle.

Tell them what they want to hear again, Jenny. That got them going again and everyone knew what was next.

Tonight, I want a match any match, and I don’t care who shows up for it. I don’t care if it’s someone I’ve literally wrestled eleventy million times all over the world or if it’s someone brand new that I and the pro-grappling fans of the world haven’t even heard of. All I’m looking for is someone ready and willing to bash my face in in the middle of this ring and I’m damn sure that isn’t going to be hard to find.

She takes a seat on the middle rope making a little entrance way for whoever decided to show up because she’s just that damn polite.

It's Raining Men hits over the arena and Jean bordeux comes out onto the stage in front of the huge crowd who just hate Jeans guts. He makes his way down the ramp and suddenly stops at the ring and smiles. We all know its coming, Jean then does his Melina ring in to a ewwwwing Jennifer Drew and Crowd. Jean snickers at Jenny as he grabs a mic and speaks.

Jennifer nods.

Jean looks around at the crowd for a few seconds, then looks back at Jennifer.

Jean and Jennifer both smile as the crowd cheer for a minute, then stop as Jean speaks.

Jean lowers the mic and waits for a response.

Jennifer laughs for a second then immediately begins rubbing her eyes and slapping herself in the face. Horrified, she realizes that all this is actually happening and that this wasn’t a nightmare, but maybe…possibly…

She stands and waits for her actual opponent to show her face, ending this horrible practical joke.

No, seriously?

He didn’t seem to be going anywhere.

This isn’t exactly what I was expecting here, I mean I thought I’d get one of the girls out here but instead you sashay your pretty little self on out into this ring in that outfit, do that painful looking split thing and go on sounding like you just had a stroke, but I’ll deal.

After all, I can’t do much better than an unforgettable debut, can I? And you know everyone’s going to remember this um… incident…

Sickened by that mental image she tries to soldier on.

Bleh, that’s probably the most disgusting thing I’ve heard all day. Look, let’s agree to keep butt rot out of the equation here, kay? We’re both professionals here aren’t we Jeanny? Let’s bring a little dignity back to this sport.

Said the pink-haired woman to the flamboyant Frenchman.

Yeah maybe it looks like I’m all warm and cuddly with my false sense of security, but if you’re standing here not waving a sign in the front row or selling hot dogs then someone must see something in you. So I’m going to give you just what I’d give anyone else who stepped in here with me, got it? Now, I’m going to go backstage, change, primp, get my chi nice and aligned then I’m going to come out here and you’d better be ready for a fight.

She drops the microphone and rolls out of the ring. Still in the heat of the moment she plays to the fans a little on her way to the back.
