Its time …
For me to shine again, to show the fans, the wrestlers and everybody in the world that I am one of the best. That I am who I said I am … A down to earth woman who raise her child without the help of the father … that even thought I am still recovering from the injury I recently … well it has already been a few months … received by a fall from an ladder … It happened during a ladder match ok? Get tossed off the ladder and landed back first at the arena floor … outside of the ring. Damn, that hurt … but non then less … I am back and now its time to show everybody that I am still able to bring it. So Nikki … just do it … walk out and do your thing … do it … just do it.
My entrance music hits the PA system during the first PPV of Global Championship Wrestling, the name of the PPV is Exodus … from the 2nd Book of the New Testament … it marks the beginning of an journey … Whatever … I needed to stay focus as I was pretty nervous. I breath in and out a couple of times … My music has already passed the mark where you could hear that few words that made me famous … that are like a catch phase of mine … similar to Tap or Break …
YOU CAN’T STOP ME …
I wait a few more seconds before I slowly walk out on the stage through the curtain. It was a strange feeling to stand on the stage again, … if this was strange I don’t know how it will be when I stand in the middle of the ring … where everybody can see me. But I think I will find that out soon enough. The fans non then less doesn’t have forgotten me as they have jumped to their feets to cheer for me. A smile appears on my face as I stand at the centre of the stage … I close my eyes for a second … so that I never ever will forget this feeling … the feeling of being home. Yes that is how you can call it, I am home. This is my home … not an apartment, not my family … this is my life … and a new journey, a new part of it has just begun.
I slowly lower my hands, bow forward … my hands are pointing to the ground, a gesture that I am so familiar with that it happens automatically. I breath in once again … I wait a few seconds and then I breath out … and pull my arms with full force up in the air … I can hear how the pyre explode behind me … I can also feel the heat that comes from it … the fans on the other side freak out … if I would talk, it would be impossible for anybody to hear me …
Well the rest of the scene seamed so unreal for me as well as I walk down the ramp, slapping my hand in the hands of the waiting fans … saying a few nice words to them , … taking some pictures … stuff I am used to do … and then it happens … I stand at the ring, just outside of the ring actually, my hand holds the rope … what a moment for me. I smile once again and then its over … I am in the ring and I have a hard time to hold back the tears … who much have I missed it. I can’t, I don’t have words that can describe it.
I climb at 2 of the 4 turnbuckles and pose a bit with raised arms … you know make the fans happy and give them a chance to take more photos of me. But that was soon over as I jump down and walk over to the side of the ring that lays next to the announcer tables. One of the crew members is standing there with a microphone in his hand. The mic was of course meant for me … and so I take it. I nod with my head and thank him … and then I walk back in the centre of the ring, raising the microphone to my mouth to speak in the public for the first time since a few months.
Hello Chicago … What’s up?
A smirk appears on my face as I said that … the reaction from the fans if of course fantastic …
A lot as it looks like … you are enjoying the PPV thus far?
A loud YEAH was the answer that I got to my question.
Now that sounds great. But you know boys and girls … time to go back to the business we can party later on. There are a few things I want to talk about, a few things that many of you have asked me in your emails … a lot of stuff that I read at some of the wrestling forums … also on one of this wrestling game forums for created wrestlers … and I want to answer a few of this question as soon as possible … but first I want to thank all of you who have supported me during my injury break.
Thanks …
I also want to thank another person … one of the owners of GCW actually, Miss Candice Angel for giving me the opportunity to wrestle in this promotion … I am very happy about that … as I didn’t thought that I would get a job offer so fast after the injury I have recived not too long ago during a ladder match … You know … getting tossed of a ladder and landing back first at the arena floor is not exactly an experience I want to remember but … it happened. I admit it also that it might have been stupid from my side to wrestle for such a long time with the injury … which leaded to the ultimate break I had to take to heal up … but that lays all in the past. I am fully recovered and ready to prove to all of you … that I am still one of the best in this industry … and I say that without any type of ego … its just a fact and everyone of you reminds me of that.
Loud cheers from the fans follows while I am trying to fight against the tears in my eyes. I am really not good with this emotional stuff …
But you know what? Time to move on …
This is Exodus … the first PPV in the history of Global Championship Wrestling … the first step in a new direction of professional wrestling in the United States. We are going away from … sports entertainment … and going back to that what wrestling is and always was suppose to be … a sport. Not entertainment, not sports entertainment but rather a sport itself. And I am … and I think I speak in the name of everybody in the back … we are proud about that. Just as this Exodus, this journey to new highs in the business starts with this PPV … also my carrier starts new … every new beginning is a new experience non of us want to miss.
GCW … you the fans … the wrestlers in the back … the owners, the GM’s and everybody who works in the back and at ring side … this is just the beginning … so lets have a good time and lets us all enjoy this ride we are taking together …
And now … why the hell not … I am speaking out an open challenge to anybody in the back … for a one on one match. No gimmicks … no entertainment … just a traditional … a classic match. Who is up for that? Who wants to have a good time and enjoy a nice and challenging match against me? Whoever you are come out …
A smile appears on my face as I lower the microphone and wait for my possible opponent. Hopefully somebody will come out … would suck if have to stand here alone in the ring … and wasting the time of the fans without giving them that what they want to see … a good match.
