<·†·>There she was again. Standing in front of the black curtain, taking in deep, slow breaths and exhaling them very slowly. The technicians stood by and witnessed the same thing right before the Exodus PPV and they were experiencing it yet again. One of them sighed and motioned to another, who just waved him off. She was mouthing something to herself, a phrase, over and over. She nodded once and turned to the guy on the sound board and nodded.
At the nod, he flicked the switch and her theme song, What Have You Done by Within Temptation, began to play over the PA System and this time, she burst out of the curtain, doing her little twirl on the stage. She was nervous, no doubt about that, but she was swallowing it down. She turned to face the black curtain, extending her hands out before turning back around and making her way down the entrance ramp. She made a slight detour or two on the way, to the left and right, to exchange a few hand slaps with the fans before approaching the ring, hopping up on the apron and pulling herself up with the aide of the ropes and then stepping on into the ring.
She made her way to the opposite ropes, leaning through them and coming back into the ring once she was handed the microphone. She walked to the center of the ring and raised the microphone to her mouth as the guy on the sound board flicked her music off and she froze as she looked out to the packed arena. At the PPV, it wasn't so bad, as she had other people in the ring to concentrate on when talking, but... She was out here all alone. Several seconds passed and she cleared her throat and began to speak.<·†·>
"Oh... boy... Okay. I made my d-debut in GCW at Exodus, the first PPV of the season... In a battle royal against five other women. I didn't win it, but I also wasn't the first person to be eliminated so... I think thats good. I know I didn't eliminate anyone myself, which could be bad for me, I don't really know, but I do know that I had gotten a lot of near falls on the other competitors. I watched my match... over and over. Try... Trying to figure out where I messed up.. Well, me being nervous didn't give me a real good edge in the match I know that much.
Watching the match also... It also let me see how the other woman go about things.. And that helped me a little. Just a little. I know I'm still a nobody compared to a lot of people and... well, I'm sort of okay with that, but I'd still like to prove myself as not being a complete waste. To prove that I'm worth it? So, Miss Banks? Or.. Or any other woman, that doesn't have a match? Could you please come out here and grant me that opportunity. The oppurtunity to prove myself to myself and everyone else?"
<·†·>She closed her eyes briefly, taking in a deep breath as she lowered the microphone from her mouth and exhaled it slowly, looking around the arena a bit before turning her attention to that black curtain that she prepped herself in front of twice already.<·†·>
