Okay. I just got the usb flash drive, and I have the ar max disk. Okay when I put the usb into the drive, and then go to "my devices", and copy the file to the usb, the file stops halfway of writting the information, and stops right there. Not sure if it means its done or just stopped in the middle for some reason. Then I try to go see if anything went on the drive, and it did. Three files. Neither seem to be max drives. One with no extension to it. One file that is a .ico file has the name smackvsraw as the name on it, and icon.sys? I'm kind of lost as I just wanted to get one caw off the card for now, but can't figure out how

Crush the save to the stick, don't copy it.

Hm ... I never crush a save to the stick and it still works ... But have you deleted the old saves you had put on the usb? I mean it sounds as if you want to copy a file that already is on the save and the device realise that and stops the copy process

I formated the usb. When I crushed the file, it seemed to make a .max file which is cool. now how do I seperate the actual memory card file. like I want to have one caw on it, and that's it.

Make a brand new profile on another card and copy your CAW over there.

I would say your first issue is that you're using Ar Max. Switch to code breaker. Then you won't have issues.

ARMax is the safest route to go. Codebreaker does not work on slim PS2s for save capabilities.

Hm. From what I read on their forums, Sony stopped allowing Codebreaker to use their USB drivers from some legality.

USB drivers are the things that are installed in the system and the disk. lol. Kind of like the software driver? It's that thing that they struck from Pelican, I believe.
