Most of the renovations were being finished up, more importantly, in the office areas. There wasn't much to be done in the first place, yet the team still worked entirely briskly to get to the point they're at now. And now...
Amanda starts looking into moving into what she's hoping to be a much more permanent tower than the one she had in Detroit. She'd spent much of the morning watching her furniture being dropped off from it's storage, making them set her bed up for her in one of the back rooms of her expansive, executive suite, one of the very few she had set up in the GCW Tower. Making them set up her bed gave her at least one place to relax... thank God. She needed it. The previous day's episode with Lilith in the bar was entirely taxing and nerve-wracking to her. Especially her responses towards her dead fiance. Thoughts of whether it was just a front or whether or not there was truth to her not being able to remember him had been running through her mind frequently the past twenty four hours. Especially, with what she was thumbing through once again.
The pictures... the pictures that Lilith had thrown onto the table before going in a spiteful rage due to Amanda's inheritance she'd received... Pure evidence of just what he thought, not only of her, but of everyone around him. It almost broke her heart to see, despite her stance on the two of them, especially towards him with all that they've been through in her previous relationship with Jon, not to mention the FCW CEO's incidents.
"Miss Wallace? Where do you want this other couch?"
She doesn't even look up from the images, almost entranced by the history she held in her hands...
"Wherever looks right. I'll have it taken care of later if necessary..."
"Awright..."
And the mover was gone, Amanda only hearing the commotion coming from the other room as the pieces of furniture are moved. Everything in here, Jon and Lilith, Jon and Punk, Jon and herself, even some really old pictures of him and Elizabeth Knight and her brother... all of it paints a tale for her. From how deeply in love he was with Lilith to the for sure marriage proposal, which didn't surprise her since there wasn't any pictures of his ex-wife in there, to the almost "trash talk" atmosphere of him and Cory, and even how tight he looked to Elizabeth, alongside her brother standing as a guardian in the background. She almost gets a chuckle, wondering if Jon ever caught flak from him over that. He probably did... she remembers the way he was when she met him in her senior year of college.
She sticks the pictures back on her nightstand, almost dreading having to find Lilith later to give them back. They weren't Amanda's to have... almost the way she felt about Jon's money, but with Lilith's reactions to just that bit... she wondered if it was better off? She can't tell, she really, really doesn't want to think on it at all... It'd be for the best, perhaps from breaking her down completely and going into a homicidal rampage against the wheat thin bitch...
