Complete and utter silence engulfing the room in which he sat. Focus wavering not in the least. On the current agenda of the man in question? First and foremost making contact with those who could possibly offer assistance, information and possible refuge from the previous months of madness.

A dire situation it had become. Volatile. Void of logic of reasoning upon examining each and every aspect of events in question. The entire situation had become extremely dangerous as well as unpredictable. Yet as with all things when dealing with life, or death for that matter, they could be controlled, contorted and shaped to his advantage... if he could only...

The slightest of movements, a tilt if you would, occurs, contorting his line of vision as his acute sense of hearing could sense the forwarding phone call ensuing. Anticipating the forthcoming dialog that would surely ignite the latest of conquests of discovery and eminence formulated within the depths of his subconscious.

Suddenly his vision shifts once more, the hands free device in which with he sought council with one of the two "figure heads" in question indicating that the sought moments of conversing were mere seconds away. Barely shifting his position where he had sat by idly awaiting the required moment of contact, realization was apparent. Hearing the faint sense of fatigue in her words, a smirk upon his face indicating satisfaction thus far. Let the dialog commence.

"Hello, this is Amanda speaking... can I ask who's calling?"

She listened to the light breathing on the other end of the line. She had a busy day already, and now she's just answered the phone and seems to be sitting on an eternity waiting for a response...

And once again the games begin...

"Hm, I don't see why you couldn't Amanda. Genovese. Cross Genovese."

A momentary pause in his words, as a slight cough ensued before he continued...

"It has been quite some time Miss Wallace. What...Approaching 2 years now? Oh and...My DEEPEST condolences surrounding your misfortune concerning your previous venture. *Sigh* Such a shame. And how are you on this evening might I ask?...

[Amanda Wallace]

"Cross... not exactly the one I'm FAMILIAr with.... but nonetheless... thank you for your sympathy's regarding FCW..."

She sets down her pen... this could be quite the conversation. She eyes her clock before shutting the lid of her laptop...

"The same could be said for your organization as well... You wouldn't happen to know if Jon was grouped into your friend's list, was he?"

Fully expecting Mr. Pryor's name to be a part of this conversation he nodded his head slightly, replying with...

"I...I honestly cannot say Miss Wallace. Sad to say. Though with the severity of the events in question, can one really be sure either way?...

...I'm afraid not...

We can only hope that one day more light is shed upon the situation that took away such a good friend to the both of us Miss Wallace. Yet...There is truly nothing we can do concerning our friends demise as of now...Just merely keep his memory alive in any way we possibly can hm?..."

"At least I still know there was no way that he commited suicide. I can at least be secure in that thought, especially after visiting his residence personally.

Now... onto what this call is exactly about... What do you wish to speak on, Mr. Genovese?"

"Is it really that difficult to decipher?...

Of course I like so many others abroad received word of the latest venture spearheaded by Miss Angel and yourself. It's really...Self explainatory if you think about it...

...I always make it a point to explore my options fully before making a permanent decision on my career of course. I'm quite sure both yourself and Miss Angel are exceptional business women, despite the misfortune you both encountered during this past year of ours but...

...One has to rightfully be at least remotely weary of considering joining a promotion where both of the CEO's have...Well...For lack of a better word...Failed before. With all due respect of course. I merely wish to inquire of the chances I won't be forced to resort to issuing such a call as this of ours this same time next...Season. I really tire of moving you know...Hopefully the staff you have assembled this time around can do more than spend the majority of their time between each others legs?...

"You mean aside from the operation being spearheaded by the two in all of their promotions that DIDN'T have that reputation? I believe your future is in safe hands, Mr. Genovese... remember... it wasn't myself who killed my previous federation... it did happen to fall into the clutches of a psychopathic psycho... I'm sure you remember Miss Creighton from all those years ago, correct?"

"As if anyone could forget Miss Creighton?...Please...Of course...

...And yes while I'm sure Miss Creighton had a hand in the surrounding events in question, things aren't perceived as so in the public's eyes Miss Wallace. Ultimately the burden of blame and final outcomes are always thrust upon the shoulders of management...

Which would be yourself as well as Miss Angel...

My apologies if this sounds a bit harsh but...You yourself understand the dwindling integrity of the industry the last few years. I only wish to call my next "home", home for an extended length of time...

"Hard to tell. I think she's putting on a front, trying the tough act over the loss of Jon, since she claims she can't remember it. Even left me her wedding ring... I think about crying. It was really weird knowing her for almost two years myself. So, yeah... I don't know what is going on with her... nor my male population around here. It's not like there isn't enough women to go around and deny half of the males here anyways.

Now, regarding your "home" for the extended period of time? Believe me... Candice and myself have taken many, many, many safeguards to make sure that is even the case... even removing those that can put an obstacle in front of that goal. One's already been eliminated along the way, so you know that we're serious in that approach. No one on the roster, nor anyone on staff will prevent that."

"I see...Hm..."

He pauses, his eyes scanning the room of the undisclosed location which was his safe haven for the preceding weeks of recuperation. Then...

"I know you're a woman of your word Miss Wallace so...I'll take your words as law for the time being. Now...I also have to ask...Precisely how much viable talent resides on the GCW roster as of...This moment? Competition is always a factor of course."

"Honestly? I don't see too many recognizable faces... On paper? A lot of good talent... but those that I know of right off of the bat? Essence, Bryan Colombain, Jason Cross, I think..., Brandon Payne, The Avenger, Angel Fyre... are all names that I know off of the top of my head that have joined our ranks. Some of these newcomers look promising as well, but you'll have to be the judge of that. Oh... and we do have one of your former running buddies on staff... so... if you get asked to lend some money to cover FCC fines... just know that he signed the contract. I didn't force anything..."

"....Cross...Ugh... :(Oh well,I guess everyone makes mistakes hm?...I'd advise cleaning THAT one up before proceeding...

"I have to say Miss Wallace, you seem quite desperate for the filling of positions with such an acquisition. What's the matter? Were Steve-O & Johnny Knoxville busy on the day of announcer interviews?...

Even so...I gather he's your problem now. Though I'll be making sure to pay my old friend a visit when I visit the lovely city of Chicago. Oh and...For me...Keep any information regarding my arrival as hush as possible? Especially...When concerning Buck. I wouldn't want to spoil the "surprise" of course...
