Discuss what you discover about abilities on this thread. Ideas of how like the AI uses them, how long it took you to earn certain abilities and more. I did make a mistake with the Kip Up earlier, saying it wasn't earnable... but, with that said, I don't want everybody abusing it hoping its a get out of trouble free x1 card. I honestly think the only ones that should be using that and lock pick are the ones that specialize in the charismatic or submission catagories, respectively.
So, yeah, go ahead, and talk about them so we can figure things out to help your fellow members due to the scarcity of edits this year. This will help them be able to submit an "as close to final" CAW as they can get before the season starts.
I for one, have seenthat Possum Pin doesn't look uber spammed this year, in fact I've only seen it done once so far... which is amazing considering I was building up Pryor for a good 2 or 3 hours yesterday via handicap matches.

Also: Does the AI use the Ring Escape, Pull-back, or the TB Exploder matches in your guy's sims? I'm real curious about these realistic abilities, and hoping some of these become the norm instead of trying to take every uber-offense/defense ability like a lot of people took last year in multiple places (Lock Pick, Kip Up, Durability for all, plz?)

I have yet to see TB Exploder used, but Pull Back is used quite often in sims.

I wasn't simming, but building stats on a CAW and went topside. >.> Wasn't aware that the person was getting up and they did pop off a TB Exploder. It was the only time I've seen it happen though, but if it fits the character, why not use it instead of using an ability you can't see them having, yes?
Pull back I've seen gets used, in sims as well as in VS CPU matches.
And for ring escape, if they've taken enough damage the AI will do it for a quick respite, also gives them a chance to use Durability if they have it. Not sure if they'll use it every opportunity it comes up but yeah, I've seen the AI use it a few times.

In a couple matches I simmed Lilith against Trish in [Both overall 80, thought it'd be a good match up... and it sooo was ] I saw her use the ring escape, the pull back attacks, object specialist and durability [Though that was only once, near the end of a match] Oddly enough, I did NOT see her use Lock Pick in a submission only match. But then again, maybe she didn't have the momentum required, so I can't be sure. I'll be doing more testing of course

The AI using Pull back and ring out makes me happy in pants. Probably too much to ask about Roll evasion and any type of springboard that doesn't involve apron in, huh?

I've noticed Mysterio and Gail Kim using the evasive rolls on me several times. Kim was whipping my ass for a good minute too lol EDIT: I just had this excellent match with Mr. Immortal and Morrison. Morrison, Mysterio, and Kim so far as I've seen, use the Springboard dives effectively, and often btw. What was so cool though, is that I was having a submission match with Morrison, and he did a springboard move only for me to dodge and him to the ref instead. So I put him in a submission, he taps, but because the ref was laid out, the match wasn't stopped. I of course beat on him a little more after that, and made him tap eventually, but that was really cool to see.

Another million dollar question: Any perks for controller slots? Like how last year, Player 1 was at an extreme disadvantage it seemed?

So far, from what I've seen, both compete fairly even.
Simmed matches should come out pretty well me thinks.

I am happy that Pryor just totally took it to Orton. Who all do you sim against to see how well your guy will do? Pryor is a 92, and should have beaten the 93 Orton but seemed to toy with him. Orton was hurting for a good five minutes in that match, and pinned Jon as soon as his head was injured.

Lilith's overall 80, I usually sim her against Trish or Beth, sometimes Natalya. The matches are pretty back and forth even on Hard. I may bump it up to Legend to see how things go. Plus I've altered my sliders a bit. So far Lilith hasn't lost. But she's definitely gotten her ass kicked in various matches lol
I'm gonna get some other divas up around 80 or so to test the diff AI styles too.
I've seen how Orton is in sims. They got his AI pretty on the nose. He seems to act quite realistic considering the human the AI is based on lol

HHH just murdered me. Next up? Thread about moveset help. Lol. More people that get it right right away and don't try to edit? The better. *me included*

Movesets seem to be quite EASY for me this year. Due to the amount of spaces, now NO ONE can try and use a hunting moveset. There is no "I didn't have space for balanced moves" nu huh. Nice try lol it's totally easy to create a move set that focuses on two, to all FOUR body parts. It's good stuff

Pryor does arms, head and body. He's being built more as a wrestling throwdown and keep you down type with vicious looking strikes. Although, I just had to have that CM punk combo in there lol

I've seen every ability used in matches now, frequent in my sims. Pullback atleast 4-5 times per martch Ring Out atleast twice per match Springboard MANY times per match Outside Dives once or twice ever Possum Pin a few times total Dirty Pin once per match Durability when needed/after ring out Strong Strike rare-moderate maybe once a match Rolling evade a few times turnbuckle exploder once or twice
The only moveset comments I can make, is don't overload with super power moves, or you'll be on your ass reversed 3/4's of the match. Don't use a corner signature move, as they tend to turn the guy from front to back in the corner several times, instead of using it. Don't use a STRONG signature move, or the CAW AI will neglect the finisher you earned using it, and pin off of it instead. I'd use a setup move that sends the caw stumbling, thus allowing a kick, or grapple for the finisher.
