"Welcome to the GCW.com exclusive interview segment. Tonight, I'm here with the woman that pinned GCW's Top Debutante, Crymson, and Crymson? I have to say that I and the rest of the GCW universe is impressed at how you seemingly took an immediate leap from the, no offense, area of near obscurity, to the spotlight with this weeks win over Jennifer Drew. What are your thoughts?"
"First off, that you're lucky that I don't expect my previous, tarnished "Legend" moniker to pay my bills. I'm well aware what direction my career was heading in this past year and a half. I'm not blind or vain. But... it just felt so good to overcome odds like I did to pin Jennifer Drew for the one, two, three."
Graciela pulled back a puzzled look on her face. "Overcome the odds? If you're talking about the odd pairing..."
"I am. Lessien wanted her team up with Jennifer Drew. I wanted no part of Kim Hunter and much rather would have had a handicap match. But I didn't. She made the rules, I played the game. Jennifer even agreed to be on her team, leaving it on me to say yes for myself and an absent Kim Hunter that, for all we know, showed up five minutes before bell time. Who knows what kind of strategies they could have come up with, or what they figured they'd do deep down. Me? I had a non-agreeing partner, for something that I really wasn't willing to do, and I still came out on top. It feels great, after last year, the start of this year, to finally start making a... comeback, if anything."
"Very well... now, what about Kim? Is she done with you? You done with her?"
"I don't know anything about Kim. Last I got was some stupid videotaped taunt, and then nothing before or after our match. So, whatever... maybe it's done, maybe she's just lazy. Either way, I want it done. And I'm going to make sure that it's finished at MindGames. Kim, your little, half-assed mind game is over. You've jumped KITSU, who's obviously moved on from your low impact, and so far, I'm the front runner in this little placeholder feud in this uneventful career of yours. I want more. I want more than where I'm at, I want more than what I've been getting, and I want more than you. MindGames? I'm beating you. Again. And I'm moving on to bigger and better, and I'm taking my coattails with me. Try to latch on and I'll cut them off... you'll be earning your own way around here, not trying to latch on to someone who EARNED her little Legendhood that you're trying to hold dear... not received it as a little feel good prize like a severance package after you've lost your job."
"Wow, you can be brutal when you want to. Well, it sounds to me like we have Kim Hunter vs Crymson for the finale scheduled for MindGames. Crymson, thank you for your time, and good luck to you. Maybe John and I can call your Top Debutante shot at the next Pay Per View if you're shooting that far."
"Look forward to it. You're welcome."
The challenge is laid.
Camera fades.
