The elevator dinged as it reached it's destination. The doors opened and Bryan Daniels stepped out. He took a short look around the place before walking up to the secretary's desk. He placed both arms on it, leaning over as he spoke to her.
Hello there. I'm wondering if Miss Wallace happens to be in? I would like to speak to her if possible.
He keeps his eyes trained above her neck. It was proving to be quite difficult with that low V-cut top she had on. DAMN IT! QUIT STARING! He focuses on a picture on her desk while he waits for a response. |

"Eye contact must not be your thing, Mr. Daniels," she said, lifting the nearby phone to her ear. She spoke softly into it for a minute, before hanging it up. "Miss Wallace is available right now, go right ahead and go in." |

He blushed, knowing that he had been caught when he broke eye contact. After a nervous "Thanks." to the secretary, he made his way over to Amanda Wallace's office. He took a moment to make sure his attire was wrinkleless and lint free, then raised a hand and knocked on the door. He paused for a moment, allowing her time to ready herself before he opened the door and walked in, closing it behind him. He walked over to her desk, extending an arm for a handshake as he reached it, talking as he does so.

"Not too bad," She said, turning her chair around so that it faced the desk. She had been looking at the lake for some time now, waiting for it to just warm up a little bit more so that she could take a small sabbatical on it. "I trust that you've been making your adjustment well from Ohio, Mr. Daniels? |

This isn't the first place I have been to outside of Ohio, but it definitely takes time to adjust to new surroundings. Seeing some "old faces" has helped to a degree. I've been trying to mix things up in the ring with people I have never worked with before.
He slides into a seat in front of her desk as he continues.
It's amazing how much things can change in just 3 short years. |

She raised her cane. "Like me having to use this for almost a year now? Sometimes the change can be instantaneous." She lowered it, resting her arms on the arms of her chair. "It definitely gets wild, I won't lie about that. So much can happen, so much does happen, so much to burn you out... It's almost time for a vacation if you ask me. I'm sure that you feel refreshed after yours? You seem to be starting to fit in around here, although I'm sure that Victor helps out quite a bit with that." |

Very refreshed, though I wouldn't call it much of a vacation with what I was doing.
He takes a moment to reflect on the past year of his life before continuing.
Victor has definitely helped with adjusting here. Teaming up with him will benefit us both in the future I'm sure. Who knows? Maybe some people will start putting forth more effort once they realize how much of a threat we are to both the Tag Team and Titan divisions. As they say, only time will tell.
A brief silence before a slight change in subject.
Jyndal and Pryor seem to be having quite the feud over that World Championship. It does make me wonder just what kind of shape Jyndal would be in if he had to defend that Tag Team Championship that he has seemingly forgotten is around his waist. |

Actually, Miss Wallace, I came up here to thank you for the opportunity to compete again. It's been great to get back in the ring. It's nice to be in the mix of everything.
A short pause as a hand rises to stroke his chin as he thinks out loud.
As for the Tag Champs? Jyndal has that World title he needs to focus on. I've been in the ring with Pryor. I know you need all your focus to compete with him. With the added pressure of it being the biggest match in Jyndal's career, he really needs to focus.
But, if it's a requirement that they must be defended....... |

He stood from his seat, offering another handshake before taking his leave.
It's been a pleasure Miss Wallace. Again, thank you for the opportunity. I'm looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me here. If things keep going as they have, the possibilities are limitless. |

I never do. Neither does Victor. You'll definitely be seeing A LOT more of us. I just hope the rest of the Titans are ready for the challenge. Have a good day Miss Wallace.
With that, he makes his exit from the office. A new swagger in his step knowing that the Tag Team Championships are already within reach, just one short month after his debut in GCW. When it comes to grabbing an opportunity that presents itself, experience is golden. Soon enough, his waist will be too..... |
