Aphrodite hadn't been conscious. As a precaution, her neck was braced, and she was relocated to the nearest hospital. We now go to Aphrodite in her hospital room*
Doctor: "... and we glued the gash together to help reduce scarring, Miss Reynolds... it's something we do for supermodels that are caught in car accidents, things of the like. Although, you're the first woman that lives by her looks that we've had to treat that had a steel chair smashed in her face..."
Concussed, Aphrodite's eyes slowly slid towards the direction of the doctor's. If her body wasn't numb, a look that could kill would certainly be gracing her previously beautiful features.
"Right. We'll keep you overnight for observation."
He didn't stick around. Aphrodite let out an anguished cry upon his exit. She didn't know what happened, just how she walked into Jennifer Drew's boot that opened her up for the corkscrew neckbreaker. If you ask Aphrodite, Lessien is more at fault for the loss than Aphrodite is. It was Lessien that abandoned her when Drew got in the lucky shot.
Shaking hand, she reached to the medical stand to the side. A hand held mirror was there. It rattled as she pulled it from the stand. Her pace of breath quickened as she lifted it into viewing area, eventually turning into quick gasps. Heart monitors showed her heart rate increasing.
"Th-th-this is g-g-gonna heal.... right?"
Her elegant hand slid upon her face, the mirror was in the trembling earthquake that was her hand. The gash was a disgusting reddish-purple, she could still see it. She prayed to her Gods that it didn't scar. The area surrounding it was a deep black and blue... her eyes were black and blue. Lip swollen. She looked like she was in a car crash after a trailer park domestic abuse case.
Tears welled up in her eyes. She dropped the mirror.
"My... my face! God damn you Lessien!"
She knew better than to seek revenge. The woman was insane.
