So Close... (Spoiler) (PPL in tag match)

["The Soldier" Carson Freedom]

Johnny had hit an Air Reid Siren on Joe and went for the cover. Carson tried to enter the ring to break up the count but was met by both Sean Dravis and Jacob Stevens. He couldn’t fight through the both of them so Johnny had managed to get a three count over Joe Brusier. Both Carson and Joe did very well even while the odds were against them. Carson wasn’t mad with the loss because he knew that he worked hard but the numbers game had caught up to them. Even though Jacob didn’t get in the ring, he was the extra man to break up counts and also defend against when either Carson or Joe tried to break up a count. If it was an even three on three match then the result most likely would have been different. Carson believed that the extra body would have helped. As Johnny, Sean, and Jacob celebrated in the ring, Carson walked around the ring to the ring announcer’s area. He picked up a microphone and made his way into the ring. He lifted the microphone to his lips.

“Yeah I’m gonna admit it right now that you three won the match. What I won’t deny is that Joe and I did give you a scare. We did what we could with the odds against us. You can’t deny that we almost had y’all. I do have to say that you guys have to be lucky that you had Johnny on your side because he did basically all the work. Haha. Sean, you did nothing but get your ass handed to you by Joe and I. I’m gonna tell you right now Johnny and Sean, this for sure ain’t over yet. Nope, not by a long shot.”

As Carson was lowering his microphone, another member from the match signaled for a microphone.

[Jacob Stevens]

Jacob receives a mic from someone on the outside.

Carson, just shut up! You lost and there's nothing you can do about it. There's no use in complaining that things would have been different if you would have had another man on your team. Facts are that you didn't have another man and we won. So, take your whining and bitching back to the back where you belong and leave us out here to bask in your failure.

The crowd boos Jacob for a while so he lowers the mic until they simmer down and then raises the mic while looking to Sean and Johnny.

And even though we were on the same team tonight, since we won that means we have the privilege of going to LockUp! to see who will get into that 4 way ladder match. So, even though we were on the same page tonight and won as a somewhat well-oiled team, at LockUp!, everyone will be against each other. I've just got to go through you two to get a chance at that 4 way Ladder match, and I'll do what I have to do to get my spot in that match. There'll be no shaking hands and no respect shown after the match. All that these stupid people out here will see at the end will be one of you on the outside, one of you on your back, and the ref holding my hand high as the ring announcer proclaims me the victor. See you boys at LockUp!

With that, Jacob throws the mic down and heads out of the ring where he's met by Joe's blood-red face. Jacob just laughs in his face and keeps walking up the ramp to the back.

Carson quickly lifted his microphone to his lips.

"Hold on there a second Jacob. Before you head to the back I want you to hear this. You really shouldn’t be talking. You want to know why, it’s cause you did nothing in the ring tonight. You were there as an extra body. You didn’t do any work tonight. You aren’t apart of their win. The only thing you did tonight was come after me with Sean when Phoenix went for the final pin. I’m not complaining. I said that you guys won the match and accepted that. So now the three of you will face off at TapOut! for a shot at the ladder match at Ascension. You got lucky cause you did nothing and you get a chance to go to Ascension. It’s cool though cause I know that you aren’t gonna make it anywhere after that. But yeah, good luck to the three of you. Once again, Sean and Phoenix I’ll be see y’all again soon."

Carson then dropped his microphone and exited the ring. He made his way up the ramp and to the backstage area.

[Joe Bruiser]

Joe is outside the ring and slips in to pick up the Mic that Carson dropped and speaks as he makes his way up the ramp.

Fans laugh as Joe rubs one of his eyes.

Joe has made it backwords up and onto the stage now.

Joe drops the mic and turns around to walk through the curtain and into the back.
