In the gym was where Carson was found. He had been training a lot the past week because come Lock Up! someone was going to get what’s coming for them. He had recently found out that it was Johnny Phoenix that had attacked him after his match at Absolution. Figures it would have been the person that he had been feuding with ever since he began wrestling. So in the gym he was working on his stamina a little and also lifting weights. He had just finished up running on the treadmill and sat down on a bench to take a breather and have water. He pulled a bottle of Poland Springs water out of his bag and twisted the cap off. He proceeded to take a large gulp of water before covering it back up and placing it back in his back. Following this he pulled out a small towel and wiped the sweat off his face. As he was doing this, another person had entered the gym.

Hey, Carson!

Jacob Stevens enters the gym with a look of disgust on his face.

Did you think I was running away from the last time we talked? Man, you're so full of yourself, aren't you?

A smile forms on Jacob's face. It's one of those a person gets when they're up to something not so great.

Anyway, I came to see how you did in your tag match at Absolution. I would've watched it, but I was admittedly to distraught from my match to care about anyone else's.

"Full of myself, haha man you are mad funny. I really don’t know what you are talking about. What have I done or said that has portrayed me as being full of myself. Ha, that’s right, absolutely nothing. You’re probably just jealous that I had a better start here than you have. It’s cool though because I’m sure you’ll step it up sooner or later."

Carson continues to wipe the sweat of his face. Soon enough he placed the towel back in his bag.

"My tag match went well. Shayne and I came out with the victory. We seemed to work very well together which I wasn’t so sure about. I wasn’t able to watch your match because I was attacked after my match. I spent the rest of the night in my locker room trying to recover and figure out who attacked me. How did that go? I know said you weren’t too happy with it, but was it that bad?"

Well, to be completely honest, it didn't go as bad as some thought it would be. I had Joe right to the end until he used his finishing maneuver on me. That match was a fluke, though! I hadn't taken enough time to get back in the ring at Absolution, and I could feel that Joe was just toying with me. It's something that he will soon come to regret.

Jacob looks on as Carson wiped the sweat from his face. He had a silent laugh at the fact that Carson ended up getting attacked without him even being connected to it. Jacob, obviously, wasn't the only one who thought Carson was in need of an attitude change.

So you got attacked, huh? Well, I can't say that fact surprises me at all. In fact, I'm only let down by the fact that I wasn't there to at least witness the beating... Much the less actually perform the act myself. So how was it? Would you care to describe it to me? If so, don't hold back any detail.

Jacob had another devious smile on his face.

No matter how insignificant it seems, don't hold back a single detail...

"Hmm… I don’t see the point in telling you what went down after my match. For all I know it could have been you who planned it along with Johnny who attacked me. I’m not gonna tell you what happened. It’s my business and my business only. I’m not the type of person that will go out and tell everything that is going on with me. If you really want to know what happened, there’s probably some film going around somewhere. Watch that, laugh to it also for all I care. Attacking someone from behind only shows one thing and that thing is being a coward. I don’t stand for that crap and Phoenix is gonna get what he deserves when the time comes and if you’re gonna get in my way also then I have no problem taking you out too."
