It was delayed...Kelly flicked a few strands of her deep red hair from her eyes as she read the screen again. Her flight to Chicago had been delayed...again. It was nearing midnight in St. Louis, and she was growing tired. Her flight was suppose to leave at 9:32pm. Looking up at the digital clock display she read the time....11:39pm. Two hours. Two long hours. She was hungry and thirsty, her money was in her baggage...she hadn't been thinking to much huh? God damnit...this is going to take forever... Dropping her slender, beautiful frame into a chair she placed her face against her soft hands. She would never make it to Chicago...she just wanted to scream and start kicking peoples ass's but her thoughts were interrupted by the words of someone walking up to her.

"Anxiousness... On such a beautiful creature, it almost seems to be a form of punishment in my eyes. Flight plans.... so, so very tainted by man's error. Technology... tends to be colder.....
But more reliable, yes?"
Busy man you could call him. Alas the work for a disturbed individual is never ending yes? As I'm sure most of you have experienced once or twice, you never love your job... it tends to love you. The tall slender man, walks out from behind the row of seats the young.... striking young woman was located in. His tinted glasses hang somewhat low upon the bridge of his nose, his white gloved fingers move them back up to their home. The pitch black hair hangs down near his neck, the priest like white garb more than causing him to stick out from the natural public. He bows his head, ever so slightly to the young woman. Knowing well enough not to try and approach her directly, women can be fickle indeed. Flattery may get you no where, but it can prevent you from ending up in the hospital all the same, yes? He takes a seat in a row of seats directly across from the young woman. His eyes spending no delirium on wasted motions, they lock onto the womans seamless face. The... demure like, smile of previous knowledge comes over his face once more.
"Do so excuse me for eavesdropping Ma'am... I took the assumption that from the way you were gazing upon the travel listings, and your angry tone that perhaps you were hoping to catch a flight out of here, yes? I myself.... I hate to travel, alas.. I would never dream of boring a young woman such as yourself with the triviality of someone like me. Rather.... I would ask such a, perhaps bizarre question to you Ma'am.... Are you by any chance..
Headed to Chicago?"

Kelly looked up from her hands, the frustration clear across her face. A small smile crossed her face when she saw the man before her. At least someone was willing to talk to her.
Yes...yes actually I am, and the flight has been freaking delayed for the second time...I hope they don't just cancel it all together... What about you? Why are you here so late?
Kelly put her head on her knuckles this time and looked at him with emerald eyes. She quietly awaited his reply.

"I am here to enjoy the... scenery. I quite enjoy Airports myself.. the hustle and bustle of people coming to and from far off lands. It's somewhat mystic to me. It's almost... calming. You're the third person I've been sent to meet headed for Chicago, it's quite the popular place these days indeed."
Archer flicks his right wrist, a small plain white card comes up and meets his palm. Adjusting his glasses he glances at it for a moment before looking across to the stunning young woman sitting before him. This was her no doubt, a smile comes over his face before he softly closes his eyes behind his glasses.
"Miss Monarch is it? My name is Archer. I'm here as a.... promissary note of good will for Chicago."

Kelly raised an eyebrow and looked him over. A promissory note of good will? the third person he had been sent to meet here? Awkward? To say the least. Um...yeah Kelly Monarch, thats me. And what do you mean you were sent here to meet me? Slowly Kelly stood up, standing a little defense but not much. She wasn't exactly weirded out, but she did have a strange feeling about this.

"Please... I understand the situation seems odd, but I am only here as an aide. An associate of mine has tracked down certain people of interest through back round checks in other ventures. He found your name in a small town, quite a short file but it was there. I mean you no harm I can assure you that."
Archer bows his head slightly while in his seat, slowly reaching his right hand into his coat pocket he pulls out one of his cards. He tosses it in Kelly's direction, towards her seat softly. Adjusting his glasses once more Archer smiles that demure smile once more before looking back into Miss Monarch's eyes.
"My associate simply believes that certain individuals, are of higher interest than others. His taste in society is somewhat higher now than it once was. He proposes not alliances, nor wishes to draw any battle lines. Simply... an understanding is all Miss Monarch. Think of it as..... well, as I said I am here as an aide. The card I gave you has my name and my contact number on it. If you choose to call me in the future, I will be there to assist you. If you choose to rip it up and let the wind carry it off, that is your decision."

Kelly took her seat once more. Holding the card in her hands, she let her eyes scan over it. Slowly she exhaled as her mind wondered all the possibilities this could be. Everything from a joke to something she couldn't pass up...Raising her head slowly as she spoke...
So...what am I suppose to do now? Call you once I get to Chicago? If I ever....
Her words were interrupted by a voice over the Airport PA.
" I'm Sorry Flight Delta Airlines Flight 8734 from St. Louis to Chicago has been canceled, please come to your flight service counter to pick up a meal voucher and the hotel information you will be staying at. Again I apologize."
Kelly let out a long sigh..great now she was stuck here over night. Her eyes glanced to wards the window...and now it was raining.
Great...just great...

"Hm... troublesome, humanity can be so untrustworthy. You... have my card, Miss Monarch."
Archer readjusts his glasses slightly with another smile while he turns his glance to the window with Miss Monarch's gaze. Hm, the rain. So fitting. He pulls his glasses off for a moment. His eyes adjusting to the "roar" of light inside of the airport. Painful. Shaking his head slightly he slides his glasses back on, adjusting them promptly.
"I can assist you, if you ask me. I've been granted the ability to help those I'm sent to meet. I cannot control weather Miss Monarch... I sadly cannot have your flight plans put back on track. I however... can help in other areas."
Archer reaches into one of his other coat pockets slowly, pulling out a golden colored key card. Quite out of place from the airport and his outfit no doubt. He holds it between his index and middle fingers while adjusting his glasses once more.
"Hotel Suite Number 281, it's been paid for. I have no use for it as I will not be staying here overnight.... if you wish to use it, it's yours. If not, someone else passing by will be undoubtedly surprised by such a thoughtful gift."
Archer leans forward in his seat, placing the key card on the ground he slides it to Kelly's feet before sitting back upright in his chair. Another smile on his face before he slowly stands up, his right arm softly behind his back. His left hand fiddling with his glasses slightly as he stares back at Miss Monarch.
"You have very beautiful eyes Miss Monarch, I envy that gift."

Leaning down and picking up the key card, Kelly smiled slightly. She had no idea what was going on, but she couldn't exactly turn down a free room.
Thank you...and thank you for the compliment. Umm which hotel is this? I'm pretty tired...
Kelly stood up and toss her lone duffel bag over her shoulder. Hopefully she'd be able to get at least a good nights sleep, or something...who knew what the night would have in store for her. But at least she knew she had some place to go now. Tossing a few more lone strands of hair from her eyes.

"Any Hotel.. you want it to be, Miss Monarch. Any Hotel within the immediate area will honor that card, without fail. It will be the same suite, on the same floor.... with the same colored door. I had figured this would be of use to someone I was to meet tonight, I however have no need for Hotels. I simply asked my associate to provide an alternative means, should someone be in dire need. It seems you were that person, lucky indeed. I should mention though.... it is advised that whichever Hotel you use that card in...
You return to, in the future at least once. Common courtesy."
Archer turns to face the large window with another smile. The rain, so fitting so pure so... uncontrollable. He was a fan of the rain, so fitting indeed. His head turns slightly to Miss Monarch with a slight tilt, hmmm.
"You have any means of traveling to a Hotel from here, Miss Monarch? A vehicle of any kind?"

Her face grew a little red. She hadn't even thought about that...she didn't' have any money...besides a few dollars she kept on her for a soda.
Um...not really, I was just going to walk. It can't be that far to the nearest hotel.
She hoped...readjusting her bag on her shoulder she smiled again, and looked at the key card. Today was...a different day, something in her was still telling her this wasn't right, but her instincts told her it was okay. She took another look at the rain. Could be a long walk. Shifting her eyes back to wards Archer she spoke...
What do you mean return to the hotel again? I don't know if I'll ever be in St. Louis again....

Archer smiles softly as he readjusts his glasses on the bridge of his nose. At least he would be of use here, it felt somewhat empty, hollow; to be sent to help people only to find he could be of no use in that area. He reaches into a different coat pocket, pulling out what would commonly be called a "money clip". Holding roughly three thousand dollars, U.S. currency. He walks over to Kelly and places the clip inside her palm, not touching her in the least.
"It's just common courtesy to thank a Hotel for housing you there, is it not Miss Monarch? I should hope I see you in Chicago shortly, should these flights ever become available mind you. Good evening, Miss Monarch."
Archer steps away from Kelly and bows his head slightly at an angle, he turns around and slowly begins to walk away. His hands clasped behind his back firmly, his head somewhat raises. The demure and confident smile on his face all the while. Chicago was indeed such a popular place these days, one can only wonder how much trouble it would cause in the future? He stops near the exit of the Airport, turning around only to smile at Kelly once more. A child stops and looks up at Archer in amazement, it must be his height. Archer smiles and pulls out a strange looking loli-pop. It seemed to be in the shape of a Skull, but... with a mask covering half of it's face. He hands the child the candy treat before turning back to the exit, and leaving the Airport.

Kelly smiled faintly....such a strange man, but a helpful man. Looking down at the money clip he had placed in her hand she gasped. There was a lot of money there. More then she had even brought with her. She let out a sigh. Something was up. People didn't just give out hotel rooms and give out money. Something was going on...and she would find out...in Chicago. But for now she needed to get some rest. Adjusting her duffel bag on her shoulder once more, she headed off to wards the loading area. Hopefully a taxi would still be there. Her mind began to wonder as she made her treat to wards the loading area. She did make sure to note the flight screens displaying her new flight time of 5:35am.
A short sigh escaped her lips as she raised her hand for a taxi. A small yellow cab pulled up in front of her. Typical she gets the dirt ball cab. Getting in and tossing her bag next to her, she gets an overwhelming smell of smoke. Shaking her head she speaks to cab driver.
The nearest Hotel please...
The cab driver nodded and took off. She gazed out the window. The rain had let up some, but random flashes of lightning could still be seen. She let out a sigh. this was...an awkward way to start her wrestling career, from Indiana to Ohio now stuck in St. Louis, and she had yet to wrestle an official match. Her wallet was broken.
Either she dazed off, or the hotel was rather close, because before she knew it, the cabby was telling her they were there. a Hilton. Go figure. Dropping the cabby a twenty Kelly steps out of the cab and heads into the hotel. It was nice..no doubt. A lot nicer then anything she had ever stayed in. Stepping up to the counter. she pulled the key out feeling a little awkward.
Um..could you tell me which room this belongs to...
Yes ma'am that is suite number 281 on the 2nd floor.
Thanks...
Kelly grabbed her bag and headed to wards the elevator. A slender finger pressed the up button. She just needed some sleep. once the doors opened she was greeted by... (this thread is still O2A )

No-one.
Until the second floor, that is.
The elevator door opens to the 'l' of a T-junction, in which the hallway stretches out both ways thereon. At the end of one hallway, a door is open to allow access to a small balcony. Standing on the balcony, facing out towards the street below, is a figure clothed in white, his pure white hair loose and covering his left eye. He turns his head sideways to see the figure of a woman whom he does not recognise until that little instinct tells him that this is one of the few people who will join him in the new GCW venture. It does not concern him, either, so for the moment he ignores her and continues staring into the distance. As she approaches to go to her room, Dylan turns his head sideways again to get a better view. The woman is beautiful, and a glint in her eyes attracts Dylan's attention immediately. He shakes it off and spots a card in her hand... a card that looks strangely familiar.
Dylan: Archer... damnit.
His eyes go back to the woman's own eyes, until she notices him staring. Shaking his hair out of his vision, Dylan looks down in apology.
Dylan: Sorry. I didn't mean to stare. It's just... those eyes... they remind me of someone I once knew.
Realising he sounds like a regular average Joe, Dylan regains his composure and turns back to the street below.
Dylan: You'll be one of the wrestlers heading to Chicago for GWC, won't you?
Those eyes...
