GCW Get Ready (INVITE/DevinMatthews)

Violet walked into the GCW building, hair in a ponytail, wearing a brown leather jacket half buttoned up, dark slim jeans, and some fancy heels that Vi never wore due to the uncomfortable factor.

Now to find this studio for my interview...

Violet walks up to the front desk and waits for the man to look up at her...

Hi, would you happen to know where the studio is?

yes Ms....?

Scarsden, Violet Scarsden....

Yes Ms.Scarsden, it's down the south hall room 125, you can't miss it. It's the only room with a "qiuet please" sign on the door....

Thank you.....

Violet smiles at the man and then proceeds to walk down to the studio where she'd have to give an interview hyping her debut to GCW, which was delayed do to family issues dealing with her reckless brother Cliff getting in an accident on his most prized posession his Harley. But this only delayed Vi's carreer for afew months since Cliff had only minor injuries...

Ok here we are....

Violet finds room 125, the one room with the "Quiet Please" sign on the door. She puts her hand up to her mouth and makes sure her breath smells ok, then knocks afew times....

It was a tiny studio but luckily he was able to squeeze in the lights, the desk and of course the thing that would tie it all together the GCW banner. A big GCW logo surrounded by an electric arc, which he hadn't looked at until now.

What the hell is this?

He pulls out his trusty phone to one of the other new .com staffers.

Didn't we say no lightning?

Fine, let me pull the other one down...

Fire? Damn it!

I know it "works" but is it really "relevant?"

Yeah.

Yeah I understand it's totally metal but...

You know what, no! I'm taking it down. We're going with the El-Train thing I sent you on the bluescreen and people ARE going to “get it”!

And that's my 10:30 now.

He pocketed the phone and moved toward the door as a tech came to fetch the banner.

Ass.

Time to put on the charm for his appointment. Despite all the technical woes of setting the show up it was good he had at least one person in touch with him for screen time.

You know at [e-mail].

He opened the door and invited her to the set.

Violet, how are we doing today? We're all ready to go so if you take the seat on the left end of the desk we can get you situated and lit and then get rolling. You need anything before we do this, the make up guy, maybe a spring water?

He said as he took his position behind the desk and the crew came to fit him with a microphone.

Violet walked in through the door opened by Matthews, and looked around at the small cramped studio. Violet then heard Devin ask her a question....

Oh no I think I'm fine, I don't wanna look like a clown with a pound of make up on my face. I think I look fine with the little I have now if I do say so myself...

Violet let out a little laugh just to show that she was joking...

Now, you know they want me to look heel right?....

While Violet was asking Devin the question she removed her jacket to reveal the black tank top with a graphic of some sort underneath. Violet then turned to face Devin and the small camera and lighting crew, let down her hair from the pony tail and re arranges it to her liking....

Do I look okay?

That was a pretty serious transition there. Really worked for her, he thought.

Um yeah I think that's perfect.

Oh and on the other thing I think we're good too. I kind of like to go a little “off the wall” during these things, so you know feel free to rip into me or whatever's your thing. I did a little bit of research though so even though I'll be having fun with you I promise this won't be a waste of your time.


And somene get Ms. Scarsden a spring water in the little GCW mug. Gott hydrate and we've got to keep that logo out there.

Lighting and audio went about their business getting everything ready to go and finally gave him the signal. He took a minute or so to mentally prepare and get into character then looked up smiling like an idiot. Obviously it worked.

Alright, let's roll this.

Thank you giant block of text. And we've got someone brand new to you fans here. Ready to start taking over here in our Debutante division Miss Violet Scarsden. Violet, how does it feel to be off and running here?

Well, if you had your facts straight, Devin... you'd know that I will not be taking over the debutante division. That job is filled by my mentor, the woman who trained me, and the one debutante who has class, dignity and of course beauty. That woman is Lauren Kennedy, The First Lady of GCW.... But I will have a key role in this company. I will fly under her wing, and assist in taking over this talentless wrestling company...

Violet was straight into her character as soon as the little red recording light lit up on the camera. That character, total bitch.

And if your "fans" are true fans of the sport they'd recognize me from some independent circuits, go search my name on you tube or whatever the hell you computer nerds use to waste your time. But to answer your question, it's really not how I feel, but more how YOU and the rest of the GCW community feels to have someone like me grace their precense....

Violet takes a sip of water from he GCW mug while she waits for Matthews' next question.

Ambitious. I'm glad you mentioned Lauren because let me say up front she is no friend of this show.

Probably because it's like the second time we've ever even done this but still. Now I do want to hear about what you've picked up from her as a ring veteran but a while ago I came across some troubling footage.

Can we roll that again?

It actually plays on a monitor off to the side so the timing works out right.

Now my super inside sources tell me she was working with you around then. So Lauren had a problem with the big bad media and then when she came back she didn't even have the good sense to wait and do it on THIS program. I have a 2 part question.
