Lauren began as Jack and Gabriel then looked at her she paused, and moved a little closer to them as this concern of hers was for the World title and beyond this crap shoot of a tournament that Lauren honestly expected Jack and Angel to be the 2 finalists. However Lauren could see some pitfalls along the way in it, winning the championship at this tournament wasn't her main concern for Jack it was keeping that and the tag titles.
"I was a little confused to see that after the opening sequence a retirement video was shown of a former champion. Now how many 26 year olds retire without injury forcing them too? None. I personally think that Crossfire might be planning something. So I'd just watch out Jack you more than most know what he is like when your back is turned." |

Jack nods but when Crossfire is mentioned his face changes from interest to relaxed....
Listen, Lauren, Cal Crossfire may not be the sharpest knife in the droor, but he is NOT that stupid to interfere with my match. And yes he did hit me with a sledgehammer last season.... but look at it this way, that stupid move put me into the biggest match of last year. So if he has any intelligence left in his perverted head, than he would realize that when you mess with me, you will get hurt...
Jack gives Lauren a quick wink with a smirk on his face, before looking back at Gabriel...
Toreno and me ARE as close as brothers, which is why I'm worried, cus I haven't seen him in awhile....

at this point the door opens and in walks a cooler looking Steve Toreno. he had changed slightly. gone was the rugged look, back was cool old school look. he looks over at jack and then the rest of the crew.

Toreno looks at everybody and laughs.

Toreno is acting slightly weird.

Lauren sat back as Jack clearly shot her down, there was no way Cal could beat Jack one on one  but at least Jack was nice enough to send a wink her way. Lauren noticed it but didn't return anything. As Steve came through the door she simply sat in silence as her last warning? Advice? Whatever had gone unwanted so she felt rather like the silent type right now. |

Jack gets up and looks at Steve for a moment....
Well I guess i can get used o this new look, just joking man, but good to see ya. California eh? sounds nice...
Jack pads Steve's shoulder before sitting back down. He then looks back at Lauren, noticing her silence and the look on her face... but doesn't realize whats wrong so he waits for gabriel to brief Steve...

Gabriel looks over at Toreno as he did notice he got the new sunny side look. And he is pleased to see him as there was business to take care of. [/center] Nice to see ya Champ. It is good to know that you are here and we are looking at a huge year. I got to let ya know that we got a little rumblings in the Family. And honestly, I am not too pleased about it. We got a primadona that for at least on my end really has to go. Now I know the dude has got talent in the ring but his T.O. persona is doing nothing but bring tension in the lines. So I think it is best that we surround ourselves with more decisive talent. I can't have two roosters in the hen house. Now I understand that competition will always be #1 in the minds of those in this business. And that is why I got huge expectations for all of you.
Now Toreno, you are a multiple champion. And I know you will do what is necessary to keep the Mid Atlantic around that waist of yours. But Angel is doing nothing but bringing his personal garbage in the fold of things over here. So I am going to have a private talk with him to see if we can at least be eye to eye on things. There is some tension between him and Jyndal here and I really don't need it or his wacko girlfriend putting her two cents in the business of Lauren. I think if Angel stays then that wack job will be with him and is that what I really want around us? Not sure if I want another reality story going on like what I had to deal with last year. So basically I am thinking on cutting Angel lose and maybe bring in one or two more quality guys that are more "Team" oriented.
But tonight is our night guys, it is the night that we walk away as champions. It will be the night that we set the foundation and to see what the future holds. So tonight, I will get to see how this whole tournament unfolds and watching the dawn of our new champion being crowned. So tonight I got my black book out for a little recruitment and to watch Jyndal go on at Absolution to get the World Title. Nothing can be better than that. So Toreno what are your plans for tonight? You gonna whoop someone's ass and show the world why you are the best in the business? Plus you know there will be guys wanting a piece of the both of you since you got what they want. It is time to play the game and it is time that tonight we go out like we came in and that is #1 [/center][/color] Gabriel leans back in his chair as he can foresee the future as Jyndal as the World Champion, Toreno as the Mid Atlantic, both guys as the Tag Champions, and Lauren as the Women's Champion. It brings a smile to his face even though it could backfire on him if a certain individual walks out as World Champion. [/center] |

[glow=red,2,300]well of course thats the whole fun part. we get to show why me and Jack are the greatest Tag Team Champions ever. why nobody could hold a candle to us last year. nobody will get their hands on these tag belts for a long time. but as far as the mid Atlantic belt goes i have a match against MG, he wanted a match and i gave him one. so i Will make short work of him. and I'm interested to see who trys for my belt. i have a feeling James Hunter, Briggz and Daniel Justice will come after me. but then again they will be easy.[/glow]
