Pre Season? Post Season? All the same! [INVITE]

Lauren was just fetching herself and her friend a bottle of water it was mid way through a training session. Lauren was quite happy to have somebody to train with that wasn't in a rush to jump into the hard stuff, and one that she had a lot in common with. Lauren could hear the sound of a sandbag taking a pounding she loved having this gym all to herself... Well almost but it was quiet and the workouts weren't as serious, they didn't slack but it was amazing what two women would talk about during these workouts.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, I said take yourself a break there Missy."

Lauren tosses one of the bottles toward her friend...

Violet, being that friend, catches the bottle, and in one quick move, opens it and takes a long drink, before taking a breather and looking back at Lauren...

don't call me missy, ever again

Violet looks dead serious until she cracks up abit and chuckles for a moment. She then wipes the sweat from her forehead and grabs a chair...

So, I think I got my kicks down pat, what do you want to work on next?

Violet takes another drink of her water and waits for lauren to coach her...

Lauren gave Violet a stern look the "how dare you" soon followed by a smile before unscrewing the cap and taking a drink of the water. Then looking at it in disappointment as it wasn't cool, Lauren hated room temperature water. I guess it wasn't the worst that could happen.

"Note to self put in refrigerator... I guess we should do some ring work as I haven't done much indy work during the off-season. It'd benefit me as much as it would you"

Lauren climbed onto the apron and through the ropes, it looked nowhere near as graceful as it would during a live show. Then she ran into the ropes to get a feel for their tautness, it was a little slack compared to those in GCW but it wasn't expected to be top notch in this gym.

"Not bad, Violet have you perfected the T-Bone yet?"

The T-Bone was the one move Lauren taught to every student she had, she didn't expect them to use it but she passed it on because she was regarded as one of if not the best female to perform the move.

Violet sets her water down before grabbing some wrist tape...

sorry, it's coming loose, just gotta throw another bit on there. And the T-Bone eh? I really haven't "perfected it", I know the basis of the maneuver, but that's about it.

Violet then rips the wrist tape with here teeth, and climbs into the ring. She pads on one of the turnbuckles, and rests back on the ropes to get a feel for them...

But I have to warn you Lauren, my technical in ring abilities are not my best. If you haven't noticed yet, I love a good kick...

A smurk comes across Violet's face as she aproaches Lauren in a ready position...

c'mon, show me this T-bone that you're so famous for.

Lauren loved how Violet's arrogance came through even in training it reminded her of a friend someone she hadn't spoken to in a while. Lauren smirked as that arrogance of Violet's was going to disappear fast. "Technical skills not a best? Pfft. NO MERCY" Lauren thought to herself before looking into Violet's eyes.

"Are you ready Vi?"

Lauren looked for a slight nod before snapping into action, before Violet could react Lauren had her primed for the T-Bone, barely a second later at the point of no return, then the impact Lauren didn't need Violet to co-operate to lift her for it only thing Violet had to do was take the bump as trained to. Lauren rolled over and lay there next to Violet propped up slightly by her arms and she raised her feet kind of like she would on sleepovers as a child. Then she looking at Violet on her back said.

"Now that didn't hurt anymore than it should right?"

the impact caught Vi off guard, but she tried not to show it. as she slowly got up to her feet, Violet held her back as she looked back at Lauren with a smurk across her face...

It really doesn't matter if it stung more than it should've, because if I'm doing my job right then it should always look like I'm hurt. right?

Before Lauren could responde Vi sets up for a t-bone of her own, and whispers in Lauren's ear...

My turn

Violet then hits a t bone that is less controlled than Lauren's, but still looks just as strong. Violet than climbs to her feet quite quickly and puts her hand out to help Lauren up...

Lauren took Vi's hand and was helped to her feet, Lauren was impressed by the T-Bone. Vi had caught her off guard Lauren liked that it kept her reflexes razor sharp, just like she had seen with Violet taking the T-Bone. Lauren liked her students to be aware at all times ready to take bumps. Lauren had worked with some that were stiff and seemed like they were trying to make you look bad by injuring you by catching you unaware.

"NICE, I didn't think you'd try that Vi. However a little sloppy but far from the worst I have seen or rather felt."

Lauren rubbed her back slightly it had been a few weeks since she had taken a suplex like that and despite the buzz she still felt the sting of her skin hitting the mat. Lauren however then felt some discomfort in her shoulder and she began to try and loosen it a little.

"Ooh I guess I am a little rusty."

Lauren stretched her arm and then a popping sound could be heard, and she immediately clutched the her shoulder and the pain was so great that she was reduced to tears. Lauren was really concerned it wasn't the first time she had injured this shoulder, but she thought the little injury had healed and it was 100% but she was proved wrong. Lauren sat in the corner trying to calm her breathing down.

"Owww... That smarts just a bit."
