*The Avenger is at his Miami based beach house as he is observing South Beach from a distance. He begins remembering everything he has ever done and the money and fame he has obtained. *
You know my whole life it was about retribution. Trying to make someone pay for the losses in my life. For someone to answer for things that have come my way. And wrestling was my escape from my real life. It was a way for me to channel things that needed to be channeled. Now standing at the crossroads of what is next on the horizon. Retirement or Retribution? Looking back there isn't anything that the Avenger hasn't done. Been World Champion in 3 different organizations and being the man in all 3, capturing more gold than any other superstar in the 3 organizations, being the standard, and having more money than the Avenger will ever spend. Looking at this house and things that my work has gave me. What more does the Avenger need to do?
*The Avenger begins remembering his most vital matches as he enjoys the fans and the adrenaline that came with all of that.*
The Avenger has defeated everyone that is worth defeating in the world of wrestling and pretty much the biggest name on the internet hot stove. So what else is there to prove? The first World Champion in two organizations and someone that needs nothing else to prove. But then again, the Avenger can defeat some of the pop culture that feels they are the next Avenger.
*The Avenger looks at the pictures of him and Trinity as the phone rings.*

Trinity stands in the doorway as she overhears everything the Avenger was saying. The Avenger seems to want to answer the phone as he has his hand on the receiver. Before he could answer, Trinity puts her hand on his hand as his attention now is on her. Look honey. You got your mind in the wrong place. It seems that you are looking forward to some sort of retirement or maybe going through some sort of "how can I save the world" time in your life. Just know that I am here now to guide you through it all. Lets be honest with one another for a moment. We all know that last year was probably one of your more finest years and you want to walk away from all of that? Weren't you the first GCW World Champion and a two time holder of that belt? Didn't you just destroy anyone in your path and knowing you the way I do that is just your game. You are not willing to walk away from that when you and I both know there are certain roads you still haven't traveled. [/color] Trinity knows that Avenger is her meal ticket but in a way she is starting to fall for him. She just has to get his mind back on the right track. Now you know the whole Shia Storm and Jyndal thing probably has you ticked. Not like you haven't owned both of those guys. And here they are planning out their "Great Expectations" without knowing where the measuring stick really lays. Besides you know that we have talked about some sure Fyre things. You have never been a man to watch the world turn without you. Now you may not be the white face phenom anymore but you are still the hottest commodity and the franchise player. Its time that you re-focus on what is before you and capture what is forever yours. Not just your legacy or your career but even the more important things in your life. *The Avenger needed the pep it seemed and Trinity did that for him. He almost forgot about the phone call that came but knew that he now has a clear head.*
Now I know that the Avenger is at the top of his game. Just got to put into play what needs to be done. Looking at the so called GCW roster it seems that if the Avenger goes in that there is no one that can stand in his way. It all boils down to the Avenger reclaiming what is rightfully his. History will certainly unfold when the Avenger is on the ticket.
You talk about the legacy and career like it is over. It is hard from over. Does the Avenger still have some unsolved mysteries left to uncover? Maybe but then again that is what makes the Avenger who he is. If that means slapping the taste out of wannabes like Jyndal again then so be it. If it means going toe to toe with Toreno or Starr again then so be it. If it means to bring Storm back a few notches then so be it. If it even means showing Cal that he isn't the Crossfire that his name relates then so be it. Bottom line is that there is going to be some reckoning and if that means dropping one of the so called main eventers or some of the Avenger's past enemies then all in all it will come to pass.
*The Avenger looks at Trinity as he pulls her closer to him.*
I know what is important to me. And I know that you can be very vindictive but also know what a strong woman can do for a man. Doesn't matter to me where you have been but where you are. The past is the past as far as I am concerned. Just know another man's loss is my gain.
*The Avenger kisses Trinity again as the phone rings once again.*

Cal listened as the phone rang out, he slammed his fist on the steering wheel. He had tried to call three times that evening, but no answer just like the day before. Cal's frustration growing with each call, he had to know what was Avenger's plans. Each having a pinfall over the other with no real decisive winner of the "war" the talk in the magazines that Avenger is a better man purely because of his reputation. Cal hadn't been in the game as long but had achieved but he was damn sure that he deserved it all.
"I need to face you again Avenger, at least then I'll know where I stand"
Cal closes the phone before driving away, home and to put a face on for Kiss...

*The Avenger sees the number on the cell but it does not ring a bell on who it is. He thinks and decides to call the number to see who it was that tried to get a hold of him.*
Man come on and pick up the phone. You tried to call me twice and just pick up.
*The Avenger just sits as he wonders who it was that tried to call him as he debates his future and what is next for the legend.*

Cal skidded his car to a halt and opened his phone looking at the number and taking a moment to compose himself before speaking.
"Avenger? It's Cal Crossfire. Remember me the guy that beat you for the title last season. Mind you the beating I gave you I wouldn't blame you for trying to forget it."
Cal's cockiness came through in copious amounts.
"In seriousness I heard some rumors that Avenger was going to walk into the sunset and retire? Say it ain't so?"

*The Avenger listens as he can almost not believe who had called him and the nature of the call. He clears his throat as he wanted to put the rumors where they need to be and that is to bed.*
You know the Avenger can't lie and say he was expecting this call. Not sure where all the rumors are flying from about his "early retirement" but the bottom line is that the Avenger needed to take a little time to access the situation as you may say. Just haven't had time to get back in the weight room full force but the Avenger will be making another year of true domination.
Now the Avenger will give you credit where it is due and you did beat me for the 1-2-3. The shining spot in your life we are sure. Something to hang your hat on. But don't let that little cookie crumble too much. For the Avenger will be around even when you can not see him.
So as far as your little dream of the Avenger retiring you becoming the next level of entertainment let the Avenger be the first to say that he will be around and live and in living color.

Cal wasn't expecting the "don't worry I'll still be dominating" speech, Cal didn't care for that he just wanted the final chance to silence the critics, to end the legacy of the Avenger and Cal had the perfect plan for it so that he would become a wrestling god and people would want him to wrestle each night because he was that good.
"Good to hear that I can get one final chance to ruin you Avenger, then the critics will have to eat their words. I didn't want you to retire and leave me without that closure. I WANT TO RETIRE YOU!!! Then Cal Crossfire will be heralded as the savior of professional wrestling... Well maybe not but I will have claimed a great scalp, one of many I might add."
Cal then looks in the mirror at his face then into his own eyes...
"My eyes will be the last you see in the ring my friend."

You know what Cal. This isn't the first time somebody has came out with a mouth full of nickles and said, "I am going to retire you, Avenger." The Avenger has heard it all from the broken promises to the broken dreams. You see you come out and hear all the critics about how you got "lucky" in a match while the Avenger just beats down the same critics with his reputation and successes.
Now the retirement was something that came to my head but had someone tell me that you know what why retire when you are the top dog on the hill. Title or no title it doesn't matter because everyone and including yourself and those ridiculous critics know who the man really is. And if you bring your "happy go lucky" carcass to the ring or in front of me it won't be the last eyes the Avenger will see but the eyes the Avenger plans on closing.
So Cal be very careful on the paths you do cross because there may not be someone to save you this time. You don't got your buddies anymore taking your slack when you drop the ball. No more Jyndal and Toreno to cover ya when you are in need of a friend to bail you when the water seems to be overflowing the dam. Bottom line is that the Avenger is working out harder than ever to make and believe me his 3rd reign as champion in this company. Just like the other two big ones the Avenger was in it belonged to the Avenger. And like clockwork your carcass will belong to the Avenger one way or another.

Cal smirks as he listens to the Avenger talk.
"I guess you been hit in the head too many times Sebastian, I don't remember Jyndal or Toreno helping me defeat you... Ever. No those two were just dead weight on the Crossfire freight train. I took you down all by myself and in your match type I might add. Now I did something that makes me wonder did the wrestling world fall asleep that night, was my winning the title so bad that the world refuse to see it in all it's glory? Avenger you see yourself as the legend and I agree you are a legend but you won't pass on the torch to someone ready... So I am going to take it from you."
Cal then pauses
"But we can talk all night about this if you want but the only question I want answering is when I show up ready to face you one on one will you show ready to begin to discover just who is the better man, of course it is more a formality but old dogs like you never get it. So just do me the favor and show up and accept your fate."
Cal awaits for Avenger to speak as he looks in the mirror and sees flashing lights approaching...

You know Crossfire you can't run or hide from your past anymore. The Avenger thought he could but the Avenger will show you first hand that you are who you are and nothing more. It isn't about passing a torch or giving someone the ball sorta speak. It is about delivering when the chips are on the line. Now you want to speak about the biggest victory in your whole entire life. Some may call it a fluke where some may not want to give you your true justice. Now you did defeat me there is no question about that. But you did lose to me pretty easily in another encounter. So why question what the critics say and why question why your own heart is leading you to think. The bottom line is that you need to prove to yourself did you get lucky in the night of your life or are you who you believe you are. Are you one that the critics consider a one hit wonder or do you feel you are main event material. That my friend lies with you and the checkered past that you have. Don't worry that is the life the Avenger has lived to prove others wrong and look at me for a moment. It has delivered you must say. It isn't about being Sebastian but the dark warrior willing to put his body on the line to obtain the ultimate prize and that is the biggest name in pro wrestling today. No matter what you hear or what you think the name Avenger will chime in and be engraved in the minds forever.
Now you won't have to worry about the fate. The Avenger believes in fate and never late for a date. Don't let that aligator mouth overload that canary carcass of yours because you will find out that the Avenger will be closer to you than you realize. And you may be thinking what do you mean. You know those flashing lights that you are avoiding?? Don't ever believe that the Avenger don't know where you are or who you are.

Cal then looked as the flashing lights passed by his car, he thought he might have been arrested on a misdemeanor and made and example of by the cops. He was after all in LA.
"Avenger I guess you have been researching into my past, I guess I should be flattered that you do in fact consider me a great threat. You know in fact what I am capable of then and I don't mean in the ring I mean out of it. Yeah Avenger I know all about you and what you are, I stared you down inside a cell and you didn't care me one bit. You whooped my ass badly the week before but I still brought my A game and I smoked you and left with the title. The critics can bull crap me all of the time but bottom line was I beat you for the Continental Heavyweight Championship. You come with the mysterious crap like it's supposed to have me crying like a baby, well listen up nobody is afraid of that anymore."
Cal looks in the mirror again and all he sees is the empty road.
"Enjoy your life as it is now, because Avenger you never know with the right man and at the right time a career can be ended in an instant. Avenger look deep into yourself and ask yourself do you have anything besides the belt to live for? When you have that answer call me and I might just spare you. I am the only one who can save you from making a mistake, not your friends if you have any, not your hussy, not your God, NO-ONE BUT ME!!! Your enemy."
Cal slams his phone shut ending the call and then drives away, to where? His life outside the ring, his home, his lover, his salvation.

Now that is what the Avenger calls making the call of a lifetime. The Avenger will play with Crossfire a little to see what he is all about. From the rumors, the Avenger hears the poor lad is about ready to hang them up because he can't handle the critics calling him soft and a one hit wonder. Don't blame the Avenger for that. Its about time that the Avenger either retire this youngster or make him he wish he was retired.
*The Avenger hears Trinity in the other room as he is debating the next step.*
With my contract in balance and not sure when the Avenger will make his GCW return just know that the Avenger will come back and better than ever. How great would it be to see the Avenger just lay down the law on Crossfire and make an example out of him. To show the Shia Storm's in the world and the Jack Jyndal's and whoever wants to call themselves the #1 contender that the title still goes through the Avenger. No matter who holds that title or not everyone knows that the man has been and always will be the "Dark Knight."
*The Avenger hears Trinity as she starts to make her way back in the room.*
