Officially, 2009 will start the next gen transition for this e-federation. We've worked a few snags out.
Since saves are non-transferrable between region coded saves, there will be a division in the simmers. Amanda Wallace will be handling the Men's save, and Kimberly Masters will be simming the Debutante save. Those individuals will post their guidelines for edits, title shots, and what not within their respected gender divisions.
This brings about another point. There will be an ease of multiple accounts for GCW in 2009. Currently, at registration, members will be allowed to choose an account of either gender. For example, Jay could use both Cal Crossfire and Lauren Kennedy starting up, since both will be on seperate saves. The only loophole to this is bringing in a PURE tag team. That is, a team that fights together 90% of the time. Special occasions will have to arise for them to fight seperately in order to enhance a fued, or if a card is dwindling with unanswered challenges close to match day. But tag teams are allowed on registration day, please keep them the same Gender.
Finally, an ETA on a start day. That, honestly, is up in the air at the moment, as we are in need of the patch for Playstation 3 that allows the customization. By then, hopefully 100% unlocked saves for the NTSC region will be up by then, and can be put onto a GCW profile on the PS3s. At earliest, it could be January. But, at latest, since they gave us a "Before Jan 31st, 2009" date, it could be February. This will not shorten the season at all. Be ready for more regulations and postings to start coming in regarding GCW 2009 from your respective simmers and the rest of the staff now that the system is set for 2009. Thank you.
