Mr. Colombain.. time to put up or shut up !

Here we are at the first ever 'interbrand' LockUP & Mayhem house show event/ Coming up in just a short while is one of the anticipated matchups on the card. A match between Brandon "Genesis" Payne and Bryan Colombain.

Genesis is seen walking around backstage. Trying to get into the 'zone' and preparing himself mentally for his match with Colombain. Knowing that Bryan has proven himself to be a major threat to Genesis in his quest to become the Contiental Heavyweight Champion of the world !

Genesis begins stretching a little bit. As he does so, he's approached by one of the GCW Interviewers:

Hello, Mr. Payne. May I have a quick word with you ?

Yeah.. but make it quick. I don't have much time on my hands. I need to get ready soon for my match.

Oh, alright. I'll try to make this quick. Mr. Payne, after coming off the heels of Absolution. Going out in the first round of the tournament against the champion Avenger. Between now and Mind Games. Where does Genesis go from here ?

Well, its quite simple. Where I'm going is out to this ring later tonight to beat somebodies ass ! And that somebody is Bryan Colombain. Once I get through him tonight. Then I'm going to be training and busting my ass off until Mind Games. Where, I will confront The Avenger and face him for the title. Whether he likes it or not !

Now Colombain. I know your somewhere around here backstage. I'd say right about now. Your in the locker room with a needle shoved up your ass. Getting all your 'juices' so you can be all jacked up for our match.

Though in all reality. You could pretty much kill me with those gigantic arms of yours. Hell, one punch from one those guns could take me out indefenitly !

But know this, tonight. When we face in the ring. Your stepping in with one of the best in this industry today ! I've went through young stallions like yourself before Bryan. All you muscle-headed freaks are the same. Nothin' but a bunch of steroid abusing idiots !

Nots its my understanding that you too seek revenge against The Avenger from Absolution ? You want to pay him back and get the belt ? Well, thats all fine and dandy really. I mean, I want nothing more then to see Avenger's head getting ripped off. And i have to admit. Me and you having the same desire for the championship belt is the only thing we have in common.

Tonight, put your dreams and ambitions aside. Come out to the ring with me and will give the fans something to talk about when they walk out of this arena.

I'm one of the few road blocks in your path Colombain. If you get through me, your one step closer to the Avenger. Despite your size, I highly doubt you can beat me.

You may have the size advantage over me. But I have the experience and the skill to win. So, with that being said. Why don't you...

Just before Gen. could finish. He and the interviewer are confronted by someone.

o2 Colombain.

"Don't I what?"

The confronter was none other than Colombain himself, standing right behind Payne and the interviewer. The 6'7.5" brute was still reeling from his crushing defeat to The Avenger, and now he has been setup to deal with the chump who The Avenger took out in his first round. Gazing at his opponent, Bryan looks him up and down, since it will be the first time these two highly-rated wrestlers will be facing each other: Bryan with his absolute brute force, and Payne with his technical savvy. The clashes of these two totally different wrestling styles would surely bring a highly interesting and physical match, but for now, the trash talking play takes effect. Sporting his ring gear (minus his armware), Bryan cracks his neck from side-to-side, before speaking again directly at Payne.

"So, it seems after cleaning up nearly all the best MayheM has to offer, it looks like I'm stuck with what LockUP! has to offer. It's damn pathetic."

Bryan merely snorted before continuing.

"Brandon Payne. Or 'Genesis'. Whatever the fuck you call yourself. Despite having your ass thrown around by The Avenger, you seem pretty adamant that you deserve a shot at the Continental Heavyweight Championship at MindGames, which Avenger seems to have granted you. He really must be pitying you right now. Surely it won't take another serving of ass-whoppin' by him to drill into your head that you're just not championship material? And yet, you're looking at the guy who made it all the way to the top, giving The Avenger a run for his money. Sure, I fucked up, but I got further than you ever did."

Harsh, but true.

"Management must really have a sense of humour putting us together in a match against each other. I mean, how the hell do you actually expect to beat me? I can easily eat those chumps from MayheM for breakfast. You'll be no exception."

Bryan begins flexing his right arm, pointing to the biceps.

"See this? I got this through YEARS of dedication of training. Steroids is for the weak; the lazy, the underachieving. Those who want to shortcut their way to success. Accuse me all you want of steroids, I wouldn't be here otherwise, would I? Ever thought about that, shit-for-brains?"

He lowered his arm once again. Staying quiet for now, he awaits what Payne had to say.

HAHAHA ! Well, well... if it isn't Bryan "Who could kill me in one punch" Colombain. I can see you've already had your dose of enhancers. With the way your frothing at the mouth and spewing out ridiculous claims.

Genesis wipes the spit from his eye after Colombain had unintentionaly spat in his face during his rant.

And for god fucking sakes dude.... say it don't spray it. I want the news, not the weather channel. Sheeeeeesh !

As far as me being 'championship material'. HaHa ! Big boy, I've already proved myself to be championship material many many times before. If I wasn't ready for the big time Colombain. Why do you think GCW Execs. threw me in the main event at Exodus ? Reason they did it is because they knew that when you have a high calibur name like Brandon "Genesis" Payne on the card. Your going to get the very best match possible !

I admit to coming up a bit short at Absolution. But I'm going to make damn sure that doesn't happen again.

I do believe I can beat you Colombain. See, despite your larger then life size. I can take you out just like that (snaps his fingers). I don't care what I have to do to get the job done. Whether it be throwing you around the ring, bashing your head in with a steel chair, or kicking your teeth down your throat with the K.O.C ! (Kick of Controversy).

Another thing, please don't make me laugh about that whole "I'm better then the Mayhem roster" garbage m'kay ? While I'll give you credit that aside from Brent Starr and Chris Calloway. You are one of the better individuals from that brand, bar none. From what I can tell. LockUP is the 'superior' brand ! I'll even go so far as to say. That went it comes to the 'young minds' over on Mayhem. None of those guys can hold my jock strap . Veterans like myself, Avenger, Shia Storm, Vegas, Remmy, Blaze, etc. Could single handily wipe the floor with you guys.

But, enough about the 'brand' talk. I'll save that discussion for another day and another time.

As far as you being here because of your 'muscles' ? Well, I have to admit. Thats probably about the ONLY reason you are here. As a mere side show freak ! Flex your biceps, take all the juice you want. Continue to deny everything if you must. Just keep in mind that when you step into the ring later tonight with Genesis. Your in for one helluva roller coaster. Filled with many twists and turns, ups and downs.

I'm going to do everything in my power to beat you tonight. Once I'm through with you. Its on to Mind Games with The Avenger.

Bryan merely shook his head at Payne.

"You 'believe' you can beat me? Believing gets you nowhere. See, I KNOW that you won't beat me tonight Payne. You want to know why?"

Bryan steps closer towards Payne, almost getting into contact with his face.

"You've never had the PRIVILEGE in facing a wrestler of MY calibur. As soon as we get into that ring tonight, you are about to find out the hard way why I am in a league higher than you. The moment you shed blood will be the realisation point for you. I should be going after Avenger at MindGames, not someone who doesn't even be deserve to be the shitstain stuck to someone's shoe."

From the moment Bryan finished his last sentence, he began stepping back.

"I'll be waiting for you in the ring..."

On that final message, Bryan turned his back to Payne and began walking in the opposite direction, going to prepare for the upcoming match...
