Have you wondered where Brent Starr & Sylas Styles have gone since GCW closed for the off season? (Doubt it)
Well, Sylas went where he always goes when things shut down....
Japan! Every off season Sylas travels overseas and trains with the same men who trained him since his television and ppv debut. This year, instead of travelling with his brother, Lucas Styles, and brother in law, Tommy Mauler, like he did going into 2008. He traveled with close friend, Brent Starr.
Together, the two men touched up on their moves, increasing their arsenal of offensive threats, honing their defensive abilities, and working on stamina so that they can go the extra mile and close a match on the winning end.
They also recieved custom designed attire for the 09 season that they may, or may not don for GCW when the doors reopen.

Strength, Self Consciousness, and Inner Unity
Aswell as the rising suns for new heights achieved.
He also dons a chain with a blessed piece of a tablet once on display in a Buddhist temple, which was destroyed and crumbled in an attack. This will surely bring inner peace to Sylas' life.
