"Sure. I don't really have anything to do at this time."
Shrugging his shoulders, he decides to step onboard the elevator before it closes. Taking a spot inside beside the two women. He figured he could come. Anything was better than being in the depths of his solitude. Brooding away in his suite. No. This was better than that. Inside of the elevator, he looks over at Eliza and says...
"If someone is trying to kill us all... Then it's news to me... I haven't seen them since I had gotten here. But supposedly Buck and Vegas are in this company. Yet, I have not seen either of the two around here. Who knows. All I know is... Someone tried to kill me... And they wanted to do it bad... Like something straight out of a Hostel or SAW movie... I tell ya..."
Shaking his head. He found it strange that his "family" had yet to greet him. Word had spread to that rat Joe Bruiser fast it seemed. Surely it had gotten to them. Maybe they were avoiding their dear "brother?" Only more reason to suspect them of taking out one of their own. But that's for another time. He watched the doors of the elevator close shut as he leaned back against the elevator wall. Something weird was going on with these two. They seemed to have a history or something. Maybe Eliza felt the awkwardness that he did with Lessien. Oh well. Either way, he didn't see it as any of his business. That was them. Nodding his head a little bit, he turned his attention back to Eliza.
"How have things been for you since New York? I'm sure you've got lots to tell."

"..... Things for me? That's.. hard to explain..."
Her voice trails off as she looks from Seven to Lessien. She can't really say she's been trapped in her own mind...
"If Vegas and Buck are in the same company something has to be up. That's only happened one other time as far as I know..."
Which was odd, cause she DOESN'T know. But her mind, does. Eliza stares at the button Lessien had pressed, the large R. The roof... she slowly looks sideways at Lessien with a bit of confusion before a smile appears on her face again.
"You don't seem very social Alice... that's very interesting. Interesting things are very... interesting. I prefer them much more then older, disturbingly easy to decipher things. Like take Seven here as an example, he's interesting. And from the looks of him even more interesting things have happened to him since I last talked to him.
And you.. Miss Wonderland, your shades.... that coat. I'm sure there's easily over a thousand tails out of any given thing on your body you could spin to be far more interesting then half of the people in this tower...
Then there's someone like me. Who isn't even sure how to fully turn her own pages... or which branch of the story any given page may lead to. I like interesting books..."
She smiles at Alice, at Lessien. Clasping her hands behind her back Eliza tilts her head back and stares up at the top of the elevator car. She tilts her head to the side a bit and takes in a deep breath before shifting her attention to Seven for a moment.
"... To be honest? I think I'm in need of some long overdue therapy Sev.. wonder how many therapists Chicago has within this district alone? Ha.."

~Lessien's profile turned towards One Hundred and Eighty Seven as well. She didn't particularly want to hurt him in any way, shape or form. But this other one was getting on Betty's
last
fucking
nerve. The enamel of her teeth pressed together while the elevator crawled its way up. A temper? Or a full 30 seconds without nicotine? The results were the same. She would get her answers when the doors opened up top again. It really didn't matter who was there.~
Almost there, count with me.
~Alice whispered under Eliza's breath.~
~The elevator seemed to slow just enough to mock her more in its final ascent.~

"Heh.. Therapy? Damn. Life can get crazy sometimes. That's for sure. If ya ever find a good one... Be sure to let me know. If he can handle what kinds of stories I could probably imagine you getting involved in... I'm sure he could probably handle mine... Haha... "
His eyes were drawn to the numbers above their heads. Watching the numbers light up one after another as the elevator moved further up the Tower. Slipping his hands into the pockets of his pants. He looked from the corner of his eye at Lessien. She seemed to be tense. He couldn't blame her. Eliza was probably making her mad with the things she's been saying. Meh. Wasn't his business. If they were going to fight in this elevator, let him stay out of it. Wasn't his place to get involved. Obviously they could take care of themselves if something were to happen. Oh well.
"I guess I'll take that as a case of... "I don't know what happened to me," eh? Guess that puts us in the same boat... A little bit I guess... Somewhere along those lines..."
Shrugging his shoulders. He took a small breath before letting out a yawn. He needed to wake up a little bit. Sitting downstairs and reading that newspaper really did bore him. Come on excitement.

Therapy is for spoiled children who can't ride the waves of their own minds.
~Betty was old school when it came to mental health. A system she had been subjected to briefly in her youth before Alice and herself soon realized they were exactly on the same page in life. A weakness? A disease? That was a joke, they were a fucking force in the dying age of man.~
I'm being generous calling them waves at all. Waves to a child of course.
~New York. Therapy. Names. Betty watched as the elevator finally arrived at the observation deck with a blast of cold Chicago night on skin. It broke the
cold
hard
shell of Lessien as she finally moved and pressed herself off the elevator wall.~
Finally.
~She muttered under her breath as she stepped onto the deck of concrete enclosed for safety by a cyclone fence that breathed free in the winter night and gave a view of the Chicago skyline that was both beautiful and stifled by the steel designs. Betty turned her back to the wind, and after five steady attempts managed to light a cigarette. She never got frustrated with the act, self control.~
Now Lover.
The time has come as it always does.
~Alice had finally joined them.~
Take a breath of the winter bite.
~One Hundred and Eighty Seven faded from her shaded eyes.~
Take what ever fucking breath you like, Lover as long as it leads you to explaining why you quote me like I'm the spawn of fucking Hollywood.
~A glimpse of yellowed teeth as she spoke and continued on. All of her multiple attentions on the girl Eliza.~
And more importantly why you find it a good idea to press my every
last
fucking
button with this act and that tongue you fucking claim is Creighton?
~Betty sneered.~
And even if you are of her bloody fucking name.
We miss her like the end of the world.
~Alice cold and distant in her statement.~
There's nothing between you and me, Lover. I never forget a fucking face, a genetic trace, or you. So take the breath, Lover.
Who the fuck are you?

Eliza smiles as she walks out of the elevator car, stretching her back briskly in the cold night air. She looks back at Seven with a smile before staring at Lessien. She was wondering when Alice would get tired of games..
"I told you... Alice, I'm her sister. Guess she didn't talk much about me when she was here.... hm.. but, between just you and me..."
Eliza takes the steps to close in on Alice and her more then firm position. She leans in somewhat close and mumbles harshly under her breath..
"... I don't think we're exactly, alone.... up here.."
Eliza softly places her left hand on the side of her head... leaving it there for a good moment, before running it through the side of her hair slowly. She stares back at Seven with a bright smile.
"Hey, Sev? I hate to do this to you... having just caught up with you again after so long... but can you do me a really, really, REALLY big favor? I mean like it's a massive one... can you find Wallace for me? I don't want to make you play any kind of messenger boy or anything... I respect you more then that. But it really would help if she knew I was around before I meet her you know? So I don't have to totally run around like a chicken with my head cut off? If you can't then I understand, but it would help..."
Eliza smiles at him again before sharply turning her head back to Lessien. Her eyes keep shifting from blank to the blue hue they naturally hold onto. She smiles at Alice before walking a bit past her, stretching her arms out again in the BEAUTIFUL scenery from the rooftop. You could see over like, everything. It was gorgeous... she turns her head back to Lessien for a moment before speaking softly.
"I just... need someone's help. I know you don't know me, and I know you don't care if anything happens to me... I can see it in those.... ha, shades. But I do know for some reason... you seem to be a big hint my sister left behind..... so there's some reason. I didn't find Chicago on my own, I woke up here. I want to know why, Alice."
Eliza walks back to Alice, standing in front of her...
"I want to know why... you give off that scent, that she did. Hidden under all that.... oh, so enticing smoke.... God I need a smoke.... behind all of that, you.. smell so much more like she did then Seven does."

~Betty and Alice, Alice and Betty, Lessien stared at the girl. Did she believe her? One did. One didn't and for anyone who really understood her, there wasn't a third.~
And I'm her whore mother.
~Betty bit back. How many desperate fucking souls would love to attach themselves to that name as Alice slid a hand into her own coat pocket.~
But I can see the lines before me.
~Alice held a crumpled pack of Lucky Strikes out to her for her to take one.~
Eyes, face, wrist, breath. What else is a girl after all?
~Betty held her tongue, letting Alice drive while she glared at it all passing by.~

Eliza smiles a bit, softly giggling under her own breath. Alice was exactly the breath of fresh air she had needed, suffering with your own mind can be HELL.
"It's to bad I don't play chess... I bet you're a REALLY good Queen."
Eliza walks to the fenced in wall on the rooftop, sliding her fingers through some of the openings as she stares down at the city seemingly below them. What a view...
"You've taken over.... haven't you Alice? A year or so kept down and around by others, once she leaves.... it's all over. Game over, 'Checkmate' right?"
Eliza walks back to the side of Alice, staring up at the sky as she speaks softly...
"... You have no idea how happy I am, someone proved they're better. No idea.... thank you for that.. I owe you one. You may forget me really fast... but I can promise you, I won't forget you."
Eliza turns her head to face Alice's, smiling at her a bit. She stares back up at the sky, taking in a deep breath before stretching her back out again. She begins walking back to the elevator car, smiling as she passes Seven. Eliza makes her way into the elevator and turns back, she stares at Alice for a second... before her eyes, switch back to that blank state. She blows Alice a single kiss before the elevator doors slam shut.
