Logan shakes his head still standing in the ring, he thought he just imagined that the imbacile Jones threw him out of the ring. A moment of madness, surely that didn't just happen? Logan supposedly landed on his head but it didn't feel sore, and he looked at his clothes and there were no creases where he would have been grabbed. It didn't happen, only in Logan's mind and I guess in Nick's wildest dreams where Nick Jones actually mattered. So did it actually happen?
"NAH"
Logan then not hearing half of just went on as he was in his own world snapped back. He sat on the turnbuckle and watched as Jones was taken by security then he turned back to the real competitors

You know Steel maybe the Avenger does have the face paint on a little too tight and maybe the Avenger takes his career too seriously but you see when you do that you don't fail. You succeed the expectations and lets be honest when the Avenger got here the expectations were really high. And for all of us in this ring they are very high and that includes you. You were sought out to be this big champion and you let personal agendas to drive you out of the ring and that my friend is sad. But you see, it wasn't long ago that no one stood by your side but the Avenger. Who was it that stood by your side when Brent Starr and Lionheart wanted to dump you on your head? Who was it that had Starr occupied so you could bust Lionheart open and get the win? Yeah that's right it was the Avenger. Who was the guy to encourage you when it seemed the world and the boys in the back were dogging you about the Lauren triangle? Yeah again it was the Avenger. The Avenger only stated what is obvious and that is a lost talent depressed or walked away from the ring. Now since you are here then maybe you can bring it in the ring and show the world why GCW signed you.
*The Avenger turns his attention to Starr.*
Now it is apparent that this match will be one of the main events and perhaps the most talked about match until next year when you and BP hook up. But you see, the Avenger wants no more excuses but only results. Because these fans don't want to see an unfair match as we know with the Elimination Chamber there could be a possibility with it being 3 on 1 before the other team gets their other 2 guys in the match. And the Avenger doesn't want that and surely you don't either.
Now this is what the Avenger proposes. It is obvious that you want some of Payne and Payne wants some of you. And why wait until January to get you two in the ring one on one. The Avenger says why not we let you two start the match off!
*The crowd explodes. The Avenger waits as they fade out.*
Now the Avenger knows what you are saying. What a way to end the year out and the hype for next year, right? Exactly! Now this is where it gets interesting. We all know the team that comes out 2nd really has the upper hand. No need in calling Einstein on that one. And since this is a Mayhem vs LockUp scenario then the Avenger requests that whatever team wins the LockUp/Mayhem Title Unification Match then that side gets to send in their 2nd man first! Is that fair for you Starr? So basically what the Avenger is saying is that whoever wins the match between James Hunter/Chris Calloway/Angel Fyre in the Mayhem Title Match and defeats either Steve Toreno or Jin Remmy then you get to send in your 2nd man first. But do you have confidence in Hunter, Calloway, or Fyre to defeat Toreno or Remmy? That is the million dollar question?
Now the Avenger is pretty confident in Toreno and Remmy. Been in the ring with both and know they won't let LockUp down. So what happens Starr is this: If Mayhem unifies the title then you get to choose your 2nd guy first while we wait and when the 3rd round starts we get to send our last man in first. Bottom line we rely on our brand and for once we can look each other in the eye and know that if we lose we can not only blame ourselves but our brands as well.
*The crowd loves this idea as the Avenger pans them down once more.*
Now the question is who are you going to send in 2nd and last? Who do you trust the most or trust the least? For the Avenger is giving this power to Brandon Payne. He will be the lead man to face you and will let him decide if he wants the Avenger to come in 2nd or last. The Avenger knows it is alot to ponder on from the get go. So Starr are you in and if so lets get the details ironed out!

I hear what your saying, and I was thinking along the same lines. We do need something fair to decide what happens in terms of entrance order, and when it comes down to it, that is exactly what needs to be done.
I'm confident Mayhem can pull out the unification match in our favor. So I agree to your terms, Avenger. He turns to Shia quick, before answering the question of who would come in second And to you Shia, I owe you an apology. That was not Brent Starr speaking, that was the passion I have for this business, this company and what I do. I respect you as a wrestler, but I won't hesitate to throw another log into the fire and keep things burning red hot going into this match. He then turns back to face Maniac & Logan Now, as for which of you two I would want coming in second, after me into this match. Whether it be to even the odds, or get an advantage over our competition here... I'll have to go with Logan Steel.
Simply, for the fact that he's got some fire burning right now, that he needs to let loose and bring it right away. Now, whether that is coming in, and allowing us to go 2 on 1 with Brandon Payne, allowing me to catch a second wind and possibly putting him out before Avenger or Shia can even get in. OR, coming in and peeling one of those men off of me, evening the odds for us.He then walks towards Maniac, finishing his reasoning That then leaves you Scott, Maniac, to come in last, letting the fire burn more and more until that door slides open and you can come in and unleash that fire and bring it all home. I know you at full strength, full of anger and hatred, will come in like a house of fire, and clean house, and that is something we need to capitalize on to bring Supremacy to the land of MAYHEM!
I just hope you can understand my reasoning, and not take it for me seeing you as any less...

Manor lets out a laugh as he raises his mic.
Lets see. I'm gonna argue with the fact that I come in as one of the last competitors in this match which means I won't be as exhausted going into the other chamber? I'm gonna argue with a front row seat of watching you guys beat the hell out of each other while I'm safe in my chamber for a bit?
Starr far as I care. You can be crippled or brutally attacked after the match and I wouldn't care. Far as I'm concerned. You deserve it. BUt as for the match. I've got no problem with it. Let you guys weaken each other especially when it comes to Shia and Avenger. Just means I'm in better shape come the Continental Title Match.
Manor turns to Avenger and Shia.
Just don't you guys get too hurt on me. I'd hate if you guys were injured. It'd make Mayhem's victory in the Continental Chamber a little disappointing cause then we just beat 4 of Lock-Up's best instead of 4 of Lock-Ups best at hundred percent.

*The Avenger lifts the mic as it seems the contracts have been signed and the stips have been finalized.*
Now the Avenger will chime in. It is obvious that this is a type of card and match that can definitely change careers and no matter it will feel like a Mack truck in the morning. It also seems that we know who you are going to use next and to finish up the night with. So how about the LockUp side of things? Well it makes no sense but to bring the Avenger out 2nd since it seems Logan has issues with the Avenger so we can iron those out tonight. Besides having the best cleanup man in the business 3rd only justifies why we will leave as the dominant brand. Not to mention how the whole unification thing will happen tonight.
Now the Avenger knows the fans are wondering if this will have an impact on the World Title scene tonight. You know the Avenger can care less. He is out here because of last week and the Avenger may or may not be at 100 percent for that but you can bet your last dollar he will be heard. And the Avenger knows that Cal Crossfire is probably in the back licking his greedy little chops. But don't worry Crossfire, the Avenger has plenty and to make matters worse the same guy that is the Avenger's partner in this match will probably be the one the Avenger will end up at the end of the night fighting over the World Title. So we may be associates for this but fiery enemies after that.
*The Avenger takes a look at Maniac.*
You have always been a player dude. Tag team for Mayhem or later on in the finale just know that we will battle. The Avenger is coming out here tonight for LockUp but just know when the chips are on the line in this tag team match you think your partners are gonna have your back? We all know the World Title means alot to ya and you know tonight the Avenger might as well lighten his load and make you lesser of a man. Don't worry BP will be looking to get some action. Just know that being 100 percent later is not in the question but surviving is. Are you a survivor or are you just another casuality that must beg for mercy from the Avenger when its all said and done? Bottom line Manor you shouldn't be worried about winning the title or this brand feud but you should be worried about limping on instead of being carried out.

Brandon reacts to Avenger's last few statements:Sounds cool with me bro. Looks as if were locked in for tonight and for 2009. I'll be more then happy to start out the match. After all, I'm only here to settle my business with Starr. The whole Lock-Up/Mayhem war is of no concern to me. All I'm worried about is Starr. My fight with Starr is all that I am going to focus on tonight, and for Exodus 2009.Looks over at Shia: Are you okay bro ? No offense, but you seem a little off your game tonight. I just hope your more prepared in the ring then you are on the mic tonight .Turns his attention to Manor: Well, Well, Well. Looks like destiny has brought us together again ? Who would've thought. Payne vs Manor, Genesis vs Maniac, just one more time for the record books. All I gotta say is good luck. Because your going to need every bit of it. Just hope you can last more then five minutes this time around .Turns his attention to Logan Steel:Whats up psycho ? Either you've finally overcame your mental illness since I last saw you, or those are some kick ass medications your taking. No matter, I've got no beef with you. Just stay outta my way tonight and everything will be good as gold.
By the way, tell your ex-wife I said hello. Finally, to Starr:Nice to see that we can both agree on something for once. Seems like I have underestimated you a little bit Starr.... just a little mind you. Seems as if your just as eager to put your body at risk as I am in January. Goes to show what we both are willing to put ourselves through in order to destroy the other man. Its safe to say that we will both go to hell and back to take care of business. I'm looking forward to our encounter here tonight. Let tonight's tag match be just a small appetizer for what the fans can expect from us come Exodus 2009.
I just hope you can bring your 'A' game in the ring, just as you've done on the microphone. Maybe I shouldn't be too concerned about this or anything. But I hope all those beatings you've took haven't made your body fragile. I'd hate to break you with just one move. ;D

Manor chuckles as he raises the mic.
You know that's pretty big talk coming from you about how I should be worrying about surviving. Then again I guess considering you, Angel, Brandon and a couple others worked together to sideline me at once point. And as I remember that was the second to last time we ever met in a ring.
But the best part is, after being brutalized by 5 men I still came back and still compete. Now granted my body isn't as tough as it used to be considering all the ass kickings I've taken. I think me surviving this match isn't a question. I think it's a fact.
Manor continues to smirk as he continues.
See there's a reason I've never said I was going to be Continental Champion. To say that makes people expect me to deliver and an upset is so much more fun. I mean think of the headlines that would come if I not only survived both elimination chambers, but I was the winner in both.
Can you imagine the arguments and conversations that would come from that. The most successful loser in wrestling beats names like Brandon Payne, Avenger, Shia Storm, Jack Jyndal, Christian Pryce, and Cal Crossfire in one night in two of the most brutal matches seen. Not only that, but he beat Shia Storm and Avenger twice in the same night.
See I'm not hear to win. Enough people are here to do that. I'm here to get people talking and when I'm on camera for people to see and I'm doing what I do best, you can be damn sure people are talking about it the next day at the very least. But what puts me on a higher level than you is no matter what I look at people I'm still Maniac even when I go by a different name. You on the other hand have basically become your look. Avenger isn't Avenger without the coat or the face paint. Until you can change your look and fans still say you're THE Avenger you're not gonna be an icon.
With that Manor drops his mic as he leaves the ring and heads backstage with no music. Halfway up the ramp he turns around and holds up his mask while mouthing the words "I don't need this mask to be Maniac" before heading the rest of the way backstage.
