The Mayhem General on Lockup (o2a)

It was the last ever Lockup event of the season. And a battle between the Lockup superstars and the Mayhem superstars was at full throttle going to the last GCW PPV of the season. The opening pyro had just ended when Blow Me Away starts playing overhead. The Event had barely even started and Mayhem had made their presences felt.

Christian Pryce arrives on stage with his back turned. He lifts his arms out and then sharply turns towards the ring. He walks down to the ring making gestures and the fans. He does not have respect for them after they decided to watch Lockup instead of Mayhem. He then rolls under the bottom rope and goes over to the turnbuckle; he climbs it and lifts his arms into the air, fans booing so loudly an echo in the arena is starting to build. He drops down and grabs a mic that has been placed in the ring by the timekeeper.

So this is the “great” Lockup brand eh? To be honest I am not impressed by the hospitality shown already. For a former Mayhem champion to arrive and not even have his own dressing room assigned is a huge disrespect towards my brand and me. Now I am here for obvious reasons and that is because if any of you half witted moronic lockup fans watched Mayhem last week you would know that I announced that I would make my Lockup Debut tonight.

Fans start booing again. Pryce just laughs it off. He really has no interest in how the Lockup fans see him. For two reasons. The first is that he knows the Mayhem fans like him and respect him. And the second because he has an ulterior motive tonight. One that does not concern the fans anyway.

Now then I know how much you all want to see me get my ass kicked. But unfortunately for you that is not going to happen. You see last week we established that Lockups best had no way of beating the best Mayhem had to offer. Now Angel may have dropped the ball but that is ok, because on the right day we all know the result would have been different. And another case would be MG’s surprising victory against Brent Starr.

Fans cheer for name MG for they are proud that he defied the odds for their brand.

But you know he did supposedly need help from a Debutante to do it. But heck I like using your wits to defeat a man like that is clever. Still does not make you, Cal Crossfire, Jack Jyndal, Avenger, Steve Toreno, Shia Storm any good. You guys are all lucky, none of you have faced Mayhems best. Come on the last Mayhem wrestler to get a big title shot was Bryan Colombain and we al know how that turned out. Since then Mayhem has hardly had a sniff. Granted we went into liquidation for a long time, if it wasn’t for people like Me, Scott Manor, Brent Starr, Chris Calloway and James Hunter then Mayhem would still be bottom of the pile as far as talent is concerned. Now despite the fact I don’t like Chris Calloway he still put on one helluva a match. Heck I believe he is the first man in GCW to make me bleed. Now a Mayhem star did that. Not lockup. Cause that is we are the best brand in GCW, cause even our lower guys can beat your best.

That is why I am challenging Mayhems Best to defeat Lockups best at the next PPV. Now I know that I may be in the main event, but I can wrestle two matches. So I am challenging Lockup to meet Mayhem at the PPV in a 6-man elimination tag match. There we will find out which is really the best brand in GCW history.

Pryce looks smug and knows that Lockup won’t have the guts to meet him and his team at the event. He then lift his hand into the air for a moment to signal a change in the lighting. The lights change to white.

Now back to tonight. I am issuing a challenge to any lockup loser to face me tonight. Now I know you are all scared but if any of you want a chance at the PPV then you are all going to have to grow some balls and get your asses kicked for what little pride is on Lockup now. So come on then I have not got all night here if at all possible I would like to beat the hell out of you and the n go home. This place makes me sick.

[Avenger]

*Suddenly the lights flicker to black and red in a very cold and dark fashion and the crowd gets on their feet. They know what time it is and unfortunately so does Pryce. The Avenger music hits and he enters the stage area. Once he is seen by camera the lights go back to normal and his music is faded to a low volume so that the fans can still hear his music as he begins to talk. He takes a mic from his jacket and addresses Christian Pryce.*

You know the Avenger never thought someone like you would have the audacity to come out first of all on the Avenger's show. You know to come out and give us your song and dance. Have you seen the won/loss record of LockUp vs Mayhem stars in matches? It isn't the greatest let the Avenger say that before you snowball the truth into your own little fantasy world. You see last week when the Avenger invaded your little show to get back what is mine, the Avenger had to take care of some light weight and he was some so called champion. But you see, the Avenger don't mind wrestling great champions or those that think they are great in their mind. And as you can tell, the Avenger isn't short on bringing it.

*The crowd errupts as the Avenger has came down to straighten out some business.*

Now you come out here on the "Blue" show to give us your rundown on what you feel is the weaker show? We all know what show has the talent and the proven superstars. We all know when the chips are on the line who to put your money on and it isn't anybody over on the "Red" show. This year it is a proven fact that most if not all of the stars from Mayhem have done nothing but dropped the ball. And you want to be in a tag match at the PPV to show who is the top brand? Have you honestly lost your mind? Because the Avenger don't mind wrestling twice or more. Heck he has done it on more than one occassion and as you can see "Victory rains over the Victor."

*The Avenger paces the stage area and then turns his attention back on Pryce.*

Now this is your so called hyped up LockUp debut, huh? This is your coming out party as you will? And you are looking for a fight? Look these guys aren't the bottom of the barrell Mayhem rejects you are used to fighting. These guys aren't some overpaid "Hollywood" stars that have a hard time in finding wins more or less trying to keep their home from coming down from the edges. But this is where the best reside. This is where the World Championship has stayed all year long. This is where guys like Shia Storm have reigned supreme and even though the Avenger waxed his carcus last week but this is where the Tag Champs reside and the best in the business. So you don't have to worry about trying to find an opponent. You got one !

*The fans get louder as they are glad that the Avenger came out to end what seems to be a very determined debut. The fans fade out as the Avenger's music gets a little louder and fades back as the Avenger isn't done yet.*

Now Pryce these fans don't boo you because you are from Mayhem. They boo you because they saw some of your matches and you just can't deliver. They boo you because these fans expect more than what Mayhem can deliver. But you see, the fans know what the Avenger can do and pal you got me in that ring tonight. You want a match and now you got it. But you see this won't be a walk in the park as you think it will be but tonight you get the Legend, the Mystique, the Man they call Avenger.

*Crowd errupts as no one can really hear themselves as the noise seems like it is shaking the arena. The Avenger holds up his hands in a crosslike motion and they settle back down. He takes the mic again.*

Now the Avenger can care less about last week besides the fact he just took care of Jyndal and put him out to pasture. The Avenger didn't really look at the other matches as his focus was on Jyndal and Crossfire and tonight it is on you. And since you stated you got no where to go and will be here all night then the Avenger says let me go ahead and get your hospital bed reservation on order because that is where the Avenger will leave ya. And honestly you will be my warmup match for next week. And don't count your chickens before they are hatched because anticipation is alot like curosity and we all know where that will get ya.

So tonight Mr. Mayhem let the Avenger invite you to face him later in this ring and you can be first at hand to see what the Avenger does to those that stand in his way. Tonight the Avenger takes care of some little business and who knows at the PPV if you can get two other Mayhem loses to stand by your side then you can be witness again for another beat down. Because the Avenger plans on regaining his World Title and to show Mayhem who is the dominant show then maybe the Avenger can get two other great LockUp stars to beat the living crap out of Mayhem. And unlike you, the Avenger can go all night long!

Pryce looks down at the floor and smiles. he didn't think the Avenger would be the one to answer his challenge. But he wasn't complaining. he needed to beat Avenger to be taken seriously before the announcement of the Continental match at Global Supremacy. a match Avenger would no doubt be involved in. a win over him may give Pryce may give him the mental advantage. Pryce looks back up and starts to clap.

Now that was a nice speech. I liked the way you failed to contradict what i said in the early going. and that you use the old World title is on our brand for the entire year scenario. But you know the reason why the world title has been on this awful brand for ages. Because Mayhem wrestlers have admitted that they have no interest in it. The last Mayhem wrestler to have a shot at the belt was Bryan Colombain. In fact during this year we have had a large amount of great wrestlers. ones that could easily beat anybody on Lockup. But unfortunately with a great brand like ours not everybody could take the heat. so they did whats best and stayed out of the kitchen.

Now we come to you. a former Two-time Continental Champion. a man who has claimed to have done it all. but you see thats perfect cause you don't seem to understand how the current times work. You lost to Cal Crossfire, you paid the price of failure. The Next Generation of wrestlers is here. gone are the Johnny Pyros and the 187s. Now we have the Christian Pryces and regrettably the Cal Crossfires. and yet here you are, Aging like no tomorrow caught between old blood and new blood, no pun intended.

Pryce paces around for a moment. he then looks into the crowd. it seems he is inspired.

I Have the audacity because i am hungry enough for it. Hungry for gold. and the only reason i would ever come to this pampered happy land is for the Gold. you talked about the title being exclusive for the whole year. well i am going to change that. i am going to give hope to a dire GCW. Because at one point i was as low as some of the guys here. in fact on my debut i was jumped by one half of your tag team champions. but i got back up, i defeated all that came before me. i did the impossible and became Mayhem champion, defeating a very good star in Angel Fyre. if i wasn't English then i would be the epitome of an American Dream. one that you no doubt shared a long time ago.

So here we are. end of the line, end of the year. and for the first time we met in the ring. you say you could kick my ass for ages. well i would like to see you try. because unlike your previous opponent in Jack Jyndal, i don't lack the necessity of doing what must be done. i also am not intimidated by you. i have seen you fall twice for that belt. and i will no doubt see you fall twice more for it. You question whether i can deliver? trust me, i can deliver in more ways than my mentor. and i think he already had you number this year.

[Avenger]

*The Avenger grins as he shakes his head at the young superstar.*

You know Pryce you just don't get it. You got no idea how Mayhem guys been begging for the title. You see there have been two tournaments for that belt and Mayhem dropped the ball both times. Not to mention Colombain as you said but lets not forget me giving Starr his shot. So Mayhem has had the opportunity and if Mayhem didn't want the belt then that is their problem. For crying out loud, if you do not want to be the best in the business then why are you here in the first place?

Now as far as your little tag on the Avenger being old. Let the Avenger let you in that he is the man and has dominated like no other. You haven't been paying attention or maybe that is the water still behind the ears or in your case water in the ears. You see Pryce you are one of the guys from Mayhem that is worth the Avenger's time. The Avenger saw your matches but you are not in the same zip code as the Avenger. You come onto my show and want to throw your weight around like you are a big shot? Well tonight you will get it.

*The fans want to see these guys in the ring as they chant for them to fight.*

Don't worry little man, the Avenger won't take you lightly. Your resume as small as it is is still impressive. You were a few that held the Mayhem Title but this won't be against guys that are scraping to make a name for themselves but tonight you go up against the one that has been labeled the "anti-hero" and "hottest commodity." And as far as you being able to deliver that is something you will have to answer. Just know the Avenger has always delivered and tonight you will see why the Avenger is not only the most talked about superstar in the business but why he will make another example out of you.

Tonight we face in that ring. You are someone that stands in the way of the Avenger regaining what is his and that is something you really don't want to be. Tonight the Avenger shows once again why LockUp and he is the dominant force and Mayhem and yourself are still in rook mode.

[Christian Pryce]

A regret to inform you, that i have no intention of showing anybody that i am still a rookie. and to be honest it just sounded like you gave me a compliment. which i will not reject. i accept the compliment and will show you that Mayhem is the dominant brand.

So now this is it, the fans seem so worked up about this match that they are about to jump the rail in an attempt to get it started. so you know what lets cut this macho crap and let the actions in the ring speak for us. its a rarity that i say this but i grow tired of this turn based insult fest. So my final words are that i will not only defeat you tonight. but at Global Supremacy i will become the GCW dream and become the Next GCW Continental Champion. not you, not Cal, heck not even Scott Manor will stop me from my destiny as the ruler of GCW.

Now nothing will stop me from achieving that goal. Because you cannot refute destiny. you cannot stop it, you have to live with it. and that is what i plan on doing, because destiny is in my corner for this encounter. which puts me and a very nice place now. So will see you in the ring. better bring your Triple A* game. cause that is the only thing that has hope of stopping me and destiny.

Pryce drops his Mic and heads up the ramp, he stops at the stage and looks at Avenger. Fans hype up as they think that it could escalate right there. But Pryce just walks past and stops at the curtain in case Avenger had anything to add.
