Thanks guys, was on her birthday (Saturday) I had planned to do it quietly later after her party. But my best buddy decided to announce that I had something to say and hinted at it. So I had to do it in front of her family, which didn't help my nerves at all. I got down on one knee whipped the ring out, and asked the question. Mel was silent for a minute though it felt longer, then she shook her head before saying yes. When she shook her head I felt awful, but she was messing with me. Then I spent most of the night talking to people I didn't know being offered advice. Getting my cheeks pinched by her Gran  and watching my girlfriend's uncle make a fool out of himself by flirting with just about every girl of legal age there (16) I like how he didn't talk to girls under that age yet tried to get it on with his niece, true class lol Still all in all was an awesome night and no alcohol was consumed by me, we haven't set a date yet and no talk of kids yet phew. Jack this doesn't effect my RPing in fact Mel might actually consider RPing a character. Since she is getting better at making CAWs. Cool girl or what? |
