Steve Toreno's music hits the arena and the fans erupts into t chorus of boos and jeers. Toreno of course was last seen on Mayhem in a victorious match against Brent and Trent. Toreno heads down to the ring. he climbs inside and then grabs the mic from the announcer. he looks up and down at the announcer before slapping him in the face, for no reason what so ever.

[glow=red,2,300]Well a few nights ago i was on MayheM. i had a tag match and i had to show two young guys what it was like to face the NS way of wrestling. but the fact that i can wrestle on both brands shows just how much power NS have over GCW. many may not agree. but the fact is that NS have been the most dominant faction in GCW history. sure you've got the Order who really have not done much, sure they have won titles. but then again we have been the most dominant team as far as making an impact goes.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Tonight i had a Revelation. a theory on how to take over GCW's Lockup Brand. at the next PPV i will challenge for the CoD championship. why because NS need some gold. so i might as well start at the bottom yes?. of course the champ will not beat me. i am back to winning ways, i showed GCW that the King Of Old School is back and he is ready to kick ass a take names. but before i get the title i have to beat some poor defenseless guy to get my shot. so come on down poor defenseless guy number one...[/glow]

Hello Toreno. Long time, no see. Actually, scratch that, I saw you over on MY show. Gotta applaud you, you sure can carry a decent match. But that's all fine and dandy when your facing the small time leg huggers. If you REALLY want to be taken serious, you gotta step up and fight the top of the deck, and well, I'm top of the deck.

So, since MayheM was a walk in the park for me, I figure, hey, why not step into the ring with someone who is just like me. On the brink of something big, just with the wrong guys across the ring.

I had the hick, you had.. well.. whoever. But tonight, you can go one on one, with me in a Pay Per View tune up match. I see Avenger is going to fight Veronica Valentine, thats a good test for him. Someone who's been at the top before. So why not. I'll take you on tonight, work two tv shows before the big pay off. And, seeing as everyone else is too lazy to get off their asses and make something of the place, I'll do it for them.

Starr waits on the stage, for an answer or something to happen.

Toreno smiles. he feels that tonight could well be his lucky night.

[glow=red,2,300]Now this is the sort of opponents i should be getting week in week out. men who can wrestle. i mean you think Mayhem was easy. Lockup is a doosy. to be honest the only major players here are Shia who i have already taken care of once. and NS, who i am one of.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]but as far as facing you is concerned. i cant wait. you see you are one of the stars that i can test myself against. and if i win i know i would have made it. my loss to Avenger was unfortunate. he caught me at a bad time, some time in the future i may get a second shot at him. but for now i will have to prove myself against you. but you never know. maybe it will be you i am facing for the Continental title someday.hmmmm now that would be interesting.[/glow]

Some humility? Starr loves it when a plan comes together, but what came next, he wasn't exactly planning. It was more an overconfidence on his part.

That's good to hear that you hold me in high regards. I think I'll go ahead and do something drastic here, tonight.

I'm willing, not just to have a singles match against you, but to add some reward to it, if you should defeat me. So how about, IF you do beat me, here tonight. Then at the pay per view, we go one more time, and the winner of THAT match, will then go on to face Avenger one on one, for that continental title he's holding so dear to him right now.

Announcer 1: Oh my god, what is he doing. Starr has a guaranteed title shot and he's willing to just put that chance on the line?

Announcer 2: Well it doesn't surprise me. He's made a career out of being the underdog that came out of nowhere for huge success.

Announcer 1: Good point, but is this really the smart thing to do?

Announcer 2: Who cares, either way we're going to see a great title match at the pay per view, and in the best case scenario, these two men fight twice before the title is even on the line with The Avenger.

It looks, and sounds to me, judging by the audience, that they wanna see that happen. So why rob them of the pleasure. Let's do it!

The crowd eats it up as Brent Starr seems to be trying to appeal more to the fans, while at the same time giving someone else a chance to step up to the main event.
