During the tapping of the current Lock UP! Show, which will air at the next Sunday … the all too familiar music from Guano Apes, hits the ring. “You can’t stop me” starts to play and marks the return of one of the fan favourite wrestlers of GCW, Nicole Storm to be exactly. The former multi time champion returns to GCW, after the shocking events that took place a few months ago. Events in which, her own daughter Denise was involved. After the kidnapping from her own child and the long road to get her back, Nicole decided that it was the best to step back from the business for a while to spend some time with her daughter to help her … to get back to the normal life. Help she truly needed as the young kid had a hart time to forget or better said to work up all the things that happened to her. But … this was the past, Denise is in good shape now and nothing stands in the way for Nicole to return to the squared circle.
My theme song blast over the PA system … I breathe in one final time before I step through the curtain. Loud cheers from the fans can be heard, they are cheering for me as if I never have been gone, never have left GCW without addressing the fans about my disappearance. But as it appears… they have forgiving me for this little rude way of acting towards them. A big smile appears on my face as I walk in the centre of the entrance stage … I bend down forwards… my hand are nearly touching the floor before I pull them high in the air, while the pyre explode behind me. … Oh it feels so good to be back.
I shake hands with a couple of fans on the way down to the ring, even take a few pictures with the fans before I hit the ring and enter it. I walk over to the side of the ring which face the announcer table and kneel down by the ropes as one of the crew members gives me a microphone. I take it in my right hand and nod to the young man, then I stand up and walk back in the centre of the ring to address a few things that are going through my mind.
“WOW … It is great to be back”.
Loud cheers can be heard from the fans once again. Welcome Back chants can be heard in the whole arena and I can feel how a single tear starts to run down my cheek. I quickly wish it away with my left hand …
“… I still can’t believe it how much I have missed this magical moment when I stand in the centre of this very ring, standing in front of all the fans in the arena and the millions and millions of people who are watching GCW all over the world. A very special moment … that many people don’t appreciate it. Somebody like Ashley Raimond …”
The cheers turns into boo’s and other negative reactions in the direction of Ashley.
“I know … it is quite a shock how it has turned out with her. I mean, I am shocked … her brother is shocked and my father is shocked as well over the beavers of Ashley and more important about this cruel attack of her hands on Lauren Blayze.”
“If I would say it was just shocking then it would be the biggest miss understatement of the year. Hell, maybe the biggest miss understatement of the decade. It was just cruel for me to watch it … cruel to see that somebody who has trained under my father is able to do things like that. I mean … I can understand it to a certain point, Ashley had a rough childhood … but this is not an excuse to this shameful attack at Lauren.”
“But … even when I am against that, I also know that it is her life… her way of taken care of things. On the other side I can’t support you in your efforts Ashley … So I can only wish you the best luck in that what you are doing.”
I look down at the floor; this was really not the reason why I came out her, but it was laying heavily on my mind. I breathe in one more time before I raise the microphone again to my mouth.
“Alright… I think we should focus on the more positive things of life. So as you all have noticed I am back.”
Some laughs can be heard from the crowd and many cheers as well.
“With that said, I am quite sure that each and every one of you … wants to see me in action tonight. Something I will happily do, it is none then less one of the reasons why I have came back to GCW. So without further I do … I think I should introduce you all to the woman who will be my opponent tonight.”
The fans seam to be surprised that I have already an opponent … they have thought that I would speak out an open challenge as I usually do … but not this time.
“My opponent for tonight’s match is somebody I know for quite some while. Actually we know each other for nearly 3 years since the day we have both started to work in the now closed New York based wrestling promotion known as LXW. I have been a champion there, she has been a champion there … actually she was a bit more successful as I have been there … but nothing to worry about that I am not jealous about that. There are more important things in life as championships.”
“Then we both have worked for the Canadian based wrestling promotion known as APW … The same thing as in LXW, I have been champion there she has been champion there. Quite a big accomplishment I must say … but the thing that may surprise you all … none of us has been champion in GCW yet … I properly never will be … but I am sure that this woman I am going to introduce to you will be in the near future. I am sure about that. So … without further ado … I present to you …”
