So Starr said it best. Regal > than most of WWE & TNA talent. The trouble is that people don't seem to appreciate that, since it is seen as they want guys with charisma. So they go with Cena, when in my opinion Regal plays the heel so naturally. I suppose it's the token British Bad Guy stereo type but I really like his promos seems more realistic than the set up PWNs of Cena, Orton etc

Regal is a fighter ... he could properly be good in MMA as well with his style

I just didn't like listening to Regal when he was with King Booker. I think that was his worst point in WWE. I'll take him with Eugene over that, especially if i remember right Regal was originally forced into teaming with Eugene in the beginning.

That he was! I would have loved to see that KNEE OF DOOM knock the stupid out of Eugene.. but, we suffered instead. All Hail King Booker? SHUT UP REGAL!!!
All Hail King Regal? Instant heat, instant feuds, instant heel credability. Now if Regal brought in Burchill and Katie to his side, putting Burchill as a hitman/mercenary/bodyguard type role and Katie as the mouthpiece women. You got a trio that can get it done in the ring and on the mic, as Katie Lee IS a tremendous womens wrestler when she's got the right opponent too.
If they don't put the IC belt on Regal, or eventually the World, I'd love to see the tag belts on Regal/Burchill. They feed off eachother great, as can be seen with the Pirate gimmick takeoff.

Yes I know, that was pretty cool too ... I liked the pirate ... mostly because I like the british dialect they are speaking .... This trio could be indeed very good and if I have seen some things on RAW correctly it could indeed be that the three could be working together ... but we haave to see if WWE can finally do somehing right

I don't too much like Regal anymore cause of the ring rust he has put on. Hint: almost injuring Orton, giving CM Punk stiches, and almost slaming Punk on his neck.

but see you have to take into account how many times other wrestlers have slammed others almost on or on their necks. So yea Regal may have some ring rust but he's still got more talent and ring rust can be worked away.
If Cena can improve even a little which he has, then Regal can certainly without a doubt work off any ring rust he may have.
And I'm a mix about the pirate gimmick. It was something different than the usual "Me big badass" gimmick that most new guys seem to have in WWE. So if they can book it right then go for it with Birchill as pirate. He can do a lot of stuff for Regal then too that might not fit a "Me badass" gimmick.

Regal has charisma, but its a different kind. Not the kind that say, Edge, Cena, HHH or even HBK have.

My point exactly, it seems WWE have brushed him aside before because he didn't have the right kind of charisma. Maybe who knows it might be because WWE think that girls are attracted to guys like Cena, Orton and Edge. A cheap way for getting more money, I'd just love to see a WWE board meeting sometime or a TNA one I figure both might be amusing.

Not really being a big fan of over the top gimmicks all that much (Only really The Undertaker) I can say I really liked Pirate Burchill I was really upset when the made him drop it. Which I really dont understand because the crowd loved that gimmick. He was gaining popularity, and they just scrapped it.
As far as regal I've been very impressed with him as a heel he does his job perfectly, I was so pissed about the ending of RAW which means he was doing his job. I've also been a big fan of his in ring work since back in WCW...Finlay and Dave Taylor too...
