Ohm ... not really ... you just look even younger as you do now.
The young woman answers and shakes her head, this surely won’t help them.

Brent puts his lip ring back in and frowns a little, if only he were a little older or knew somebody who would buy him some? Cameron Kincaid? Then Brent remember that Cameron still had his phone damn him ;D still left the problem of how to get it, maybe the shop keeper might... might just sell them some Sake if the price was right "OK, that was a bad idea but maybe we can buy it still, sometimes adults sell alcohol to kids here!"

Really? I thought that is against the law? … Wow … pretty cool when adults are doing that, … I mean American adults as I am already an adult in my homeland Japan. Just here I am not … really strange … first you have a party to your 18th birthday and that you became an adult and now I am a kid again. Strange world. … So where is the next store? We could try out our luck.

"Yeah some adults are cool, and they'll let you do some illegal things you know like drinking nothing like killing or anything like that..."
Brent chuckles to himself
"As for the closest store, I am not sure since I am not familiar with the town, first time being here, I am originally from Canada. I am going to sound like an ass here but if I take you to like a Chinese or Korean store please don't be offended but I don't know how to read the signs, so I might ask you if it's Japanese?"
Brent braced himself for any form of a slap that might come his way, as Canadian girls often did that to him when he said "it may sound like I'm" you would have thought he'd learn not to say it

Ok … but I can’t read Chinese or Korean either, so how should I know if it is one of these type of stores?
Hitomi scratch her forehead as she tries to figure out how she could solve that problem. If she can’t read it either, then how should the both of them know what the store is selling and … from past experience it is never a good idea to buy something from a Chinese store … cause the last time she did that … the hot dog she bought was indeed an hot dog …

"Well, at least you'll be able to say it's not Japanese right? I figure Sake is Japanese so Chinese or Korean stores won't sell it!"
They walked a little down the sidewalk heading toward the bright lights, usually a sign of stores
"OK, Hitomi can you read any of these?"
Brent points down the street at all of the store signs

Mhmmmm…. No … that is not Japanese. That neither …
Hitomi says as both of them are walking down the street. There are a couple of shops with foreign letters written on them that look Chinese, Korean or Japanese … they pass by a few shops until Hitomi stops to move and looks up to a big sign.
Ohhh… that is Japanese …

"OK we are in business, you wait here and I'll go in and get it!"
Brent walks in there, and then after a couple of minutes he comes flying out and hits the ground hard
"Ouch... YOU COULD HAVE JUST SAID NO!"
"You go now boy, before I call the cops!"
Brent stands up and dusts himself off, and turns to Hitomi
"That is one not cool adult!"

Hitomi is holding her hands in front of her mouth as she is giggling at that what has happened to Brent. It has looked really funny how he was flying out of the shop … woohoooo … flying pretty high … and then bamm the landing was picture perfect as well. She tries not to giggle to loud … but she really wasn’t able to stop as well.

Brent didn't quite see the funny side off being tossed out of a store like that, by a man smaller than him
"Damn, Hans Moleman threw me pretty far!"
Brent then turned to Hitomi who was still giggling at him
"Looks like no Sake I'm afraid... I suppose we could just talk!"

Aren’t we doing that already?
The young woman answers and starts to giggle again.

Brent then smiles as he did say a stupid thing, and Hitomi was blunt enough to point it out
"Yeah, maybe we could go get something to eat... I know a place that does a great burger around here?"
Brent then smiles as he points too

Oh cool … we got that in Japan too. Ronald McDonald …Can I get Chicken Mc Nuggets?
The young woman says and claps in her hands.

Brent smiled as good old McDonald's could bridge the culture gap so easily, and McNuggets that wasn't a bad suggestion
"Certainly, I might have McNuggets myself"
Brent offered his hand to lead Hitomi up to the restaurent

And a lot of frits too and a big coca cola.
Hitomi continues as she grabs the hand the Brent is offering to her. She is counting the things that she could try out … or that she would like to eat while both of them are heading in the direction of the McDonalds restaurant.
Or maybe some ice cream …
