After exploring the Tower a bit, Cryss made her way back to the room where she would be staying in until the season started in a few weeks. Things looked like they were in order pretty well and that they would at least be interesting when the season finally started up. She even met the bosses earlier in the day, seeing that what they were saying about having gorgeous bosses was the truth. They were that and then some from what she saw. Which kind of intimidated her in a way since she never thought of herself in that way really.
She looked back and forth as she walked the hallways to her room, seeing a few of the others who were supposed to be signing on with GCW too. There were a few hellos here and there as she walked on, with her cup of coffee in her hand. Her room was all the way at the end of the hallway, a few doors down from Mikki's room, so she had quite a ways to go. She decided that before going to her own room she'd stop by and see how she was doing since she hadn't talked to her in a few days, and hadn't met too many others while here. People seemed to be staying to themselves she thought, not really friendly so far. But hopefully that'd change when the season started. They would be on the road with each other more and more as time went on so hopefully it wouldn't be like traveling with strangers all the time.
A little under a minute passed and she was only a few feet away from where Mikki's room was. Her eyes caught sight that her door seemed to be opened just a bit, but not enough for her to be able to see inside. She thought that was weird in itself so she decided to surely stop by now, hoping everything was alright. She slowly stepped to the door, putting her hand on the doorknob and pushing just a little bit. Before she could fully enter the room, she noticed Mikki seated on her bed on the other side of the room, staring blankly at the floor in front of her. She almost spoke at that very second but before she could, she saw the look on her friends face.
It was an unmistakable look. She had been crying and Cryss automatically knew what about. Or at least she thought she did. Women's intuition told her that it had to have something to do with Jeff coming to town. Cryss knew that they were probably spending a lot of time together, or that Mikki had told Jeff about what she had done. Either way she knew one of those had to be the reason behind not hearing from her for the past few days. She could see that she probably could use a friend right now, and pushed the door open a little more and stepped inside quietly. She didn't fully enter, waiting to see if she even wanted company right now. Waiting a few seconds to see if she noticed her enter, it became more clear of just how upset she was right now. She didn't even hear or see Cryss step inside of the doorway a few seconds ago.
"Mikki, are you okay?"
