"Considering how cold it is? Yeah... yeah I do..."
He glanced up to the light, shivering a little bit. He hadn't been moving like he was when he was jogging, so the cold started to get to him more. In fact, he was freezing, only being hout here in a hooded sweatshirt and some windpants, with his running shoes. Didn't do all too good for him, starting to barely be able to feel his nose and a few fingers. So, yes... inside the tower was a great idea...
As soon as...
"This light needs to turn to walk bad..."
Bingo. It has, Andrew awaited the young woman to lead the way back to the Tower...

I think what you mean is we need to not be able to see any cars coming that could possibly hit us. Most of the time these lights are basically just a suggestion.
She leans out into the street and looks both ways, checking to see if any of those cars would be a problem, and by be a problem I mean would kill her. Once it’s safe she waves Andrew on.
Alright, we’re good. Let’s go.
Realizing this was eating into her window, she crosses the street quickly without looking back and heads on toward the tower assuming that he was right behind her.

He jogs up after her, glancing both ways immediately before greeting her on the other side of the street.
"Yeah, well... the drivers down in Houston suck... can't be any better up in snowy, windy Chi-Town either..."[

You’re probably right, but getting through all that without getting it is good for your speed and reaction time. It’s a pretty good drill…
Well it could be, if we wanted to you know, make a whole thing out of it.
She leads the way down the block to the doors and throws one open for him.
Right now I think I’d rather just be warm for a while.

"You and me both..."
He smiles, passing by her and opening the next set of doors, the ones that finally allow entry to the lobby.
"But I'll have to take you up on that offer one day to play with fate and try not to get hit by a couple of whacked out drivers...
Day after Christmas Sales sounds like a fun way to throw ourselves right into the fire. All the crazed soccer moms? It'd be a blast..."

You're right, and you did mention you were sitting on some huge stacks of cash didn’t you?
Not that I’m interested in stuff like that….
Seriously…
I just I feel like I haven’t done enough window shopping since I’ve been here and the perfect time to do it would be the day when everyone in the Chicagoland area decides it’s a good idea to trample each other returning all the stuff their family and friends spent so much money on and put so much thought into. Wow, where did Little Miss Cynic come from, but seriously it would be pretty fun to rub elbows, see the city, really get a vibe for things, you know?

"Then you know what? Maybe we could go out there, get stampeded, maybe hit by a few cars... all the while staring at a few things that Chicago-land can offer us...
I'm sure it'd be as much fun as it sounds lethal."

She smiles and thinks about the possibilities.
Way to speak my language. Alright, this idea is starting to sound pretty awesome now that I think about it. Us unleashed on an unsuspecting populace kind of has a nice ring to it. I'm sold so I guess I’m in.

"Alright, yeah I look forward to it. Listen though... I really need to get a warm shower after that run to knock this cold out of my nerves and such, so I'll be seeing you around for hopefully meeting our doom together in the midst of some sick Chicago shopping death-mauls. I'm up in Suite 523, feel free to stop on out anytime you wish, and we'll go and paint the town red in our blood. Sound cool?"

You know it.
“Quick study that one,” she thought as she left him to his warm shower. She pokes about the lobby for a few minutes until she was satisfied. Jennifer would make a note of Rose’s information when she could feel her hands again. After completing the inspection she finally asked to see the new place she’d been assigned and she retreated into it for a while before making the trip back to the hotel.
