Takes Place After This Lovely Little Advice
It was the night of show, and Shelby just got major heat from not only her mother --who woulda thunk it?-- but the crowd as well. She had allowed her mother to rob her of a title shot, as well another great match involving Jennifer Drew; which the crowd never seemingly got tired of, no matter who came out the victor. Letting out a sigh before her entrance music graced the arena, she walked herself up on stage, the crowd immediately reacting with subsequent boos. "Good bye fan support," she said to herself as she walked her way up the entrance ramp, and into the ring. Once a woman of the people who would seemingly speak her mind, she was now reduced to the victim of a verbal lashing by her mother, and the crowd hated her for robbing them of possibly another great match-up.
Climbing up the stairs, and now inside the ring, she asks for a mic, and clears her throat before starting. "ALRIGHT," she began, rather loudly, trying to get into a new persona, one of which her mother may approve of, "I lost my triple threat match week. I LOST. Now, my winning streak isn't the best. I've lost my fair share of matches this season, but sometimes there are things I just can't stand, and that's someone who cost me the match, stealing away MY victory." The crowd, hating the character lets their hatred be known as she tries to continue, "That's why I'm pointing finger at person named Michelle Wilson. She COULDN'T KICK OUT. She couldn't raise her shoulder up when the ref slammed his hand down for the third time. Because of her, I just lost my chance at becoming the GCW Debutante Champion tonight. Because of her, I got a lashing from my mother, because of her, I'm standing in this ring right now, with all of you hating me!" The crowd agrees, and continues to boo the submissive Shelby Steele, "So, I have a proposal. During that match, Michelle Wilson couldn't lock in a submission hold on yours truly. Therefore, it's fair to say that I'm better than she is, right?" She cockily laughs as the crowd continues their usual take on the situation. "So, tonight, one submission expert, and a novice, will partake in a dance of submission holds. I will make her tap out for what she did to me. That's right Michelle Wilson, I'm blaming you."
