"What, what, what? What do I mean I LOST?" Addison asks not quite so dumbfounded, "A mother doesn't lose, that's not how things roll. I don't remember you wrenching this arm back, heck, why would I allow you to have the pin after pulling my ARM back. What type of finish is that? Obviously all of you lying, heh, heh, heh, it's a little early for April Fools people. If we could just get back to our match please. It would be very much appreciated." She places the microphone between the waist band of her skirt, and pulls her hands up, trying to get herself back in wrestling stance.

[Cosette Grace]

The timekeeper and the referee both shake their heads no as Cosette makes her second attempt.

I'm afraid it's true. Look there's no shame in it, I'm told the Russian Leg Sweep, Knee Lifts and Armbar combination can be quite excruciating, especially coming from me. And they're not going to restart the match, we've got half the card left. Just come backstage with me and we'll watch the tape together.

"You people are ALL CRAZY." Addison says before pulling her microphone back up, "You can't end a match after a BACK CHOP. It's a BACK CHOP, come on! We still have the rest of our match to finish, there isn't a chance I'm going to allo--OH-MY-GOSH, what an AMAZING finish, right Cosette?" Addison walks over to her besterest friend in the whole wide world, and leans her back against her body, looking up towards her face, "I mean, yes, yes, I was winning the entire way though, but it's been sooooooooooo long since we lasted played together, that I just have to give you a little present! Tee-hee." She turns herself around, and hugs Cosette dearly, "Besides, I love this little decoration, I think it suits you very good, I really, really, really, REALLY, want one, it's just too bad mother won't approve..." Addison pouts, and gives Cosette her puppy dog eyes.

I suppose not...

Well at least this one's memory was all there. At least for the couple of minutes she cared about. Cosette did have to mount a massive comeback to pull off the win, but she did and her old sandbox pal did remember the whole thing.

But I'm glad you've come around at least. We can have fun again can't we? And you'll be a dear and tell her I pinned you... or her as the case may be... at the end of a regulation match, won't you?

"OH YES, of course, I doubt she'll understand, she's a little thick headed, but you can count on me Cosette!" She gives her a thumbs up and wink, "Convincing mother is priority number one!" She clamps her hands together for a moment as a look of uncertainty begins to mask her face, "...how do you suppose I do that? I don't want to get spanked..."

[Cosette Grace]

No, we can't have that, can we?

She couldn't let her friend take the blame for something she did right...

No... that was just her motivation in the scene. Of course.

But don't worry, if she gets mad I won't let her do anything to you. I'm the one who's on her bad side. I'll stand up and take whatever's coming to me, even if she makes me wrestle her again. I'm the brave one, remember?

She points at the ring again.

Addison nods like a maniac in approval, "Yes, yes, yes, yes, that's why you're soooooo cool Cosette. I wish I had just a penny of how brave you are. I would be so-flipping-paranoid if I did what you did, that I would just want to RIP IT OUT." An evil smirk goes on Addison's face as she quickly takes a knee to come face-to-face with her nemesis, and begins to poke it, "Dear, you really shouldn't have crossed your mother. I don't know how you planned this, and I don't know how you have these horrid people convinced, but the entire world knows that you didn't win tonight. Nevertheless, I believe it's time for a little lesson." Addison gets a grip on the piercing, and looks up at Cosette's face. "A little pull wouldn't hurt, I'm sure..."

Cosette snaps out of character for a moment, realizing that this was exactly where she didn't want to be. Caught with Addison getting a solid grip on her piercing. Using those quick fight reflexes of hers she throws a somewhat light punch from her shoulder making sure not to move her waist. She just prayed there was enough power behind it.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Addison cries out as she nurses her cheek, collecting herself from falling onto the floor. "I gave you a present! A punch isn't something to, to, to, to..." her eyes start to water as her voice cracks, "I thought, I thought we loved each other! We're BEST FRIENDS first then we're SISTERS Cosette! We don't hit each other when we aren't prepared!" She rolls herself out of the ring, as she wipes her nose with her forearm, making that slime-y noise, "I...I...I would have NEVER done that to you..."

[Cosette Grace]

“Damn, why did I have to cross the line like that?”

“Because the bit of metal beneath your skin was being poked and prodded by a mental patient.”

“Of course, still though, I shouldn't have... well I could have been a bit more diplomatic, tactful, I could have played the part better. If I'm going to seriously do this I can't just go around beating her into submission every chance I get, can I?”

Cosette was clearly ambivalent about what had just happened. Was she relieved that Navelgate seemed to be over or was she ashamed of herself? She just watched her never breaking eye contact as Addison walked all the way back up the ramp and then filed out herself as her music played again.
