Hey, Mikki.
Jessie says as the door to the apartment slowly opens and ... properly Mikki as she is the only person next to her who has a key for it … enters through the door. It is a nice little apartment in which Mikki and Jessie are living at the moment. Not too big and not too small. Bath room, bed room, kitchen, living room and 2 other small rooms are part of the apartment. It is really nice and just fits them both quite nicely. Jessie is laying at the moment at the couch in the centre of the living room in front of the TV. Her wait hair is tied back to an ponytail while Jessie is wearing a big oversized t-shit. She is currently watching a funny horror movie. But as she has seen the movie quite a few times she knows most of the jokes that will happen. Raising her head she looks at the door that leads into the living to waits that Mikki enters the room.
How was the party?

" Not all that good...I think I have come to a decision on this whole situation though."
With a grim look on her face Mikki walks slowly over to couch and picks Jessie's legs up for a second placing them on her lap while she continues talking.
"My friend Crysstal and I were talking in the bar and more when I was taking her to her hotel and she helped me to get this whole thing into some sort of prospective. She was shocked when I told her that I slept with another woman...thankfully she didn't judge me...but I have come to my decision Jess...I hope you will understand..."
Dramatic pause...and...
"I've decided to break it off with Jeff next time I see him." |

Mikki? …
Jessie has a shocked look on her face as she looks Mikki in the eyes. She doesn’t know what she should say … what should she say? That she is happy about that? Well she is in some way, but at the same time she is also worried about Mikki if she has made the right decision.
You are sure about that?

Was she sure about it? Not really but once she made a decision she stuck to it...and she had decided that this would be the best course to follow.
" Yea Jessie I'm sure, I guess it would just be better to end it. We were growing apart anyway...so it's not like he;ll miss me or anything...I found out who he came to visit...a girl named Ariel...apparently they are tag team partners now...in a new version of StarStruck. SO if he really needs a woman he can hook up with her."
With a high note of bitterness in her voice Mikki continues.

Hey, don’t say that Mikki. I am sure he has loved you. I mean who wouldn’t have done that? You are a nice woman, pretty, you have a great humor. I mean come on … but who is that Ariel girl?
As she mended the name of Ariel you could here that Jessie spoke the name out in a more aggressive way.

Behind the tough exterior she was trying to put up Mikki was suffering from a slowly breaking heart...and she wasn't sure how long she could keep the tough act that Jessie could probably see right through, up. She just wanted to cry on Jessie's shoulder...but she didn't really know how Jessie would react to a sudden out pouring of emotion like that. |

Mikki? …
Jessie moves her feet’s away from Mikki’s lap and sat down next to her. She gently lays and arm over Mikki’s shoulder and leans against her.
If you want to cry … just do it. I am here … I love you, so no need to play the strong woman. I know how it is to get hurt, it happened my whole life long. … so just do what you have to do Mikki and let it out.

Hearing Jessie give the OK to cry Mikki leans her hand on Jessie;s shoulder and just lets it loose. The tears quickly come large fat ones...Right now Mikki was really glad she had Jessie...because if she didn't have someone to lean on and a shoulder to cry on she wasn't sure what she would do.

Jessie says and hold Mikki tight. Knowing that there is nothing she could say that would help her Jessie says nothing and just holds.

Mikki knew what Jessie was saying was true...but Mikki just kept crying on Jessie's shoulder...crying because of what she had done...crying for the coming end to her relationship with Jeffery and crying because Jeff was going to hate her. |

There they are, Mikki and Jessie sitting next to each, holding each other in their arms. It was not easy for both of them … and Mikki, the poor girl cried for hours … the pain that her decision brings with it is overwhelming for both women but Jessie tried to stay strong … she just knows to well how Mikki is feeling right now. After a few hours Mikki has fallen asleep and so has Jessie … it is a dreamless sleep ….

:: The next morning ::
Sitting on the couch with Jessie's sleeping head in her lap Mikki had been awake for who knows how long...left with only the sound of her own thoughts to keep her company...as well as Jessie's soft breathing. Looking down at Jessie's face Mikki actually let a smile touch her tear streaked face. The long cry they had together had helped Mikki a lot. Her mood was slightly better. Laying a hand on Jessie's face Mikki caresses it gently causing the sleeping girl to stir slightly. Using a calming tone Mikki whispers to her.
"Shhh, it's okay Jess."
And the stirring stops, Jessie was calm again. Trying to find a way to get up with out waking Jess up Mikki lifts her head slowly and sets it back down on the couch which did wake her slightly.
"Where are you going"
Smiling Mikki kneels down to be at face level with her friend and replies
"I'm just going out for breakfast. You just go back to sleep and I'll bring ya back something. Ok?"
Seeing Jessie nod in response Mikki adds one last thing.
Can I get a kiss before I go?
Seeing a sleepy smile on Jessie's face Mikki leans her lips forward and places a soft, sweet, and emotion filled kiss on Jessie. When it ends Mikki lays Jessie's head back on the couch and stands up heading for the door. Gently closing it behind her as she enters the hall Mikki pulls out her cell phone and places a call to some one she should have when she first arrived.
