"I don't necessarily live anywhere in particular. My home is secluded off in a forest area in the middle of nowhere all the way on the other side of the globe. A bit private. If you aren't looking for it, you wouldn't even know that it was there. That's how hidden it is. It's just a little place in a forest. Plenty of privacy. The cost of a plane ticket from there to here was expensive. Very, very expensive."
Couldn't exactly say he lived in a still existing castle without raising some questions about why exactly someone in this day and age still lived in a castle. Could raise some questions to his true identity. He didn't want that now. It's been so long since the day he was born. His home was probably given many names. He wasn't sure what it was called right now. Lies were not a good thing to keep commonly telling but in order to keep a low profile, it's something he'll have to do.

A bit of a private man are ya? Well, ain't nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their own thing. One day, I hope to find my own thing, whatever that may be. That's quite the attire you have set for yourself. Are you always that formal in public?

"Yeah. You could say that. I like looking my best no matter what I do. Not saying that I'm a person obsessed with vanity or anything like that. I just like dressing nicely. Don't think there's anything wrong with looking nice. Judging from your clothes, it seems that it might be military based. The camouflage and the vest gives me the impression that it might involve some sort military type of deal. I have no clue what that symbol means on it. But maybe that might help you with finding out who you are. I'm just taking a wild guess though. Don't take it as concrete information. It just looks like it could possibly be military attire.

Yea...maybe. Might be where I learned to fight as well. That might be one answer in the millions of other questions that I have. I guess I'll find out eventually once I start looking for the answers. The thing is, I don't even where I would begin to look for answers. Who knows, maybe something will drop out of the sky and point me in the right direction. Though, the likely hood of that happening is next to nothing.

"Well... You say your name is Zero Signal. Doesn't seem like a very common name. It actually doesn't even sound like a name for a person. Maybe it's not your name. At least, your real name that is. A military outfit, and a strange name. Maybe you should do some research on the words "Zero Signal." See what you find. You never know unless you try. There might be something more to that name than meets the eye. Try doing a little research. You might just find a clue or two as to who you truly are. I'm just throwing ideas out there. "

Yea, it's a possibility that I will look into in the near future once I have some money coming in. I do appreciate your help though. It does give me some ideas. Unfortunately, none of those ideas will help the mess that is under this mask.

Dante raises an eyebrow as he mentions his mask. He hadn't really thought of the mask. He only assumed that the mask was just something that came along with the clothes he was wearing. Guess there was more to it than he thought. Dante goes ahead responds..
"What do you mean? "The mess that is under this mask?" If you don't mind me asking. If it's too personal, I'm sorry I asked..."

Three months ago, an explosion happened that I was the victim of. That explosion happened to cause my amnesia and the horrible scarring of my face. It is so horrible that I have to wear this mask at all times when I am out in public, lest I want to become some kind of a freak show. I've gotten used to the looks from different people. But perhaps that's another reason why I'm here. I see all kinds of people and such and figured that I would just fit in.

"I see. Hmm... That can't be good. At least you escaped with your life. That's got to be a good thing. Wouldn't be too good if you were killed in that explosion. I could imagine what kind of looks you get. I've been getting weird looks since I've arrived in this town. But then again, I too am not dressing as the usual person in this day and age dresses. Guess it's understandable why we get these weird looks."

Well, if I was killed, I wouldn't exactly be standing here. I'd be 6 feet under, enjoying a nice long dirt nap. That's something I don't really intend on doing. Not yet anyways. Maybe once I'm complete with my life I'll look into that, but until then, I plan on living a nice long life. I'm sure you feel that way as well.

A nice long life... This brought a smile to his face. If only Zero knew. He lived his life for too long. Longer than any normal being have left. He simply just nodded his head. He wasn't going to correct him. He simply just replied...
"That I plan on doing. Hopefully that plan works out for the both of us. No need to go dying anytime soon. Not now. We're too young to be dying. Got too much living to do before we take that final flight out of this world and off into the afterlife. That's for sure."

So, before you arrived here in Chicago, what were you doing? I figure since you lived in a pretty secluded area that you must run your own business or something like that to keep the money coming in.

"A jack of all trades really. You name it, there's a chance that I may have done it. Farmed. Raised livestock. Odd jobs. Construction. Built things for a price. That's what I have done for the majority of it. Once I got tired of that... I got involved with a library job. Decided to settle down. The manual labor was beginning to take it's toll on me. So... I worked at a library for a little while. And after that little while, this is when you see me as I am here. In Chicago, signing up for GCW."
Of course, none of that was true. Well, some of it. Maybe the timeline was a bit shortened. Dramatically shortened. But, there was truth in it. Just, not the time periods it all happened to fall under.

A library job eh? Read any good books while you worked there?

"Plenty. I could go on and on with the number of books I've read in my lifetime. But that would be far too many to name."
He reaches into the pocket of his jacket. Searching his belongings. He pulls out an ancient pocket watch out from his pocket. He flips the top open and looks down at the still ticking clock inside. He nodded his head. Then he closed his watch and slipped it into his jacket pocket. He then looked up at Zero.
"It has been nice chatting with you. But I must be on my way. Time is of the essence. Hopefully you find the answers to the questions you have. I bid you good day..."
With that said, he begins on his way down the hallway of the arena back about his business. Off to continue his search for answers.
