Another title defense that went in Shia Storm's favor. A win thought was a bit harder than before. Seeing as Shia to defend the Lock Up championship to not just one competitor, but two at the same time. Jill Terrel, and Antonio Fenix. Two people who had the desire, and want-to to make be known as the man who represents this show that is called Lock Up.
The match was pretty hard fought victory as at the beginning, all three traded blows, and showed why they wanted the title so badly, but shia showed why he wanted to keep it. Some points of the match, the challengers were worried about themselves more than the champion himself. Some might believe that they were looking for an easy way out by not having to pin the champion, and win the title that way. Some may say that this was the heat of battle, and didn't matter who was in their way that night whether at the time that they were trading blows with the challenger or champion, they were not to be denied.
At the last minutes of the match though, you kind of had an idea that Shia was not going to loose this match as some might of thought would happen. Some are just waiting for Shia Storm to fall, and fall hard away from the title. Some may not see him as a fit champion while others do feel different. The respect is there from some, but there is alot of disrespect shown towards him that he ignores, and lets the loosers who like to talk just to ruffle people's feathers have their fun while he stops on the top while the others just because a "Whisper In The Wind."
Just a few days after the "MindGames" paperview had come to a close, the house show was here. Which meant that no one would be out deciding the matches from a wrestlers stand point, all matches were to be chosen by the staff members. So all Shia really had to do was listen good, and clear. To make sure that if he had to fight tonight, he would be. Didn't matter against or when it would be, Shia would be ready. He knows that he does have a couple weeks off of defending the Lock Up championship, that wasn't on his mind at the moment. That time will come, and hopefully go in his favor. Nothing is guaranteed.
Although things were looking very up for Shia in the future, his heart was a little down as well as his wife decided to head up to Toronto, and do what she needed to do up there while he was down here in Chicago. He really didn't know her reasoning for going off out there even though they both up there, but she didn't want to stay here too. It just bugged him a bit. He found a letter from Angel saying.
X-Angel:Hey babe, you are probably reading this as I have gotten on a plan back out to Toronto for a bit. I know I'll see you soon, but I decided to head back early, and work on my craft there. Try to refresh my skills, and back to the Angel Storm that was kicking just about everyone's ass. As of late, I have been the one who's been on the wrong end of these ass kickings', and I just had to get away. To see what I'm doing wrong, and decided to do it elsewhere for now. I may be back there, but for now, I'm up here in the North. Hope you understand, and I love you.
P.S., Keep that title in your hands as long as you can. I love what you have done so far baby, and I want to see you hold it for a very long time. bye for now.-X
It was shocking to him because she would usually say these words in person if she felt this way. Nevertheless, this wasn't going to hinder his stay in this company as he had no intentions at all of leaving anytime soon. Whatever she had going on inside her would only be figured out by herself. Shia had no bearing or would be the one changing her ways. He knew his wife well, and trying to change her mind on something was about impossible as hornswaggle dunking on shaq.
The crowd is electric tonight. They weren't sure who was in action tonight, but if the crowd has been watching all of the events either on tv, or they made a trip to one the events, they know that GCW never disappoints, and comes to impress.
The lights go out in the arena. "In Christ" by Living Sacrifice begins to play as fans get to their feet, and they cheer. I know by now who it is, if you didn't know by the beginning of GCW, now you know. The usual pyro comes onto the stage, and Shia does appear on cue. He has the title on his shoulder, and is in wrestling gear with a shia logo T shirt on instead of a trenchcoat. He makes his way down to the ring. Climbs in, and a microphone all ready.
Looks like I am standing here like the last month when I first won this title that sits on my shoulder. Back then there was a bit of uncertainty if I would were the one to hold on to this title after the title couple defenses. Before this title, I'll admit that I did not have the best start when it comes to winning records, but that all did change, and that start means nothing now as I got over it, and just plan started breaking people down, and taking their souls with me. Gave it back, and they learned a valuable lesson, if you try to cross me, they will be a price to pay. Jill, and Fenix learned that one very well. Also in my very first title defense against Kenzo Yoshi, I warned him of what could happen when he came out here, and challenged for this title; you become the hunted.
Think of it as like when a animal feels threatened of his "kingdom", and the thought of the mind of the animal is protect, and defend at all costs. Sometimes the best defense is an intense offense. Being that I am one of the most intense wrestlers in the business today. It goes hand, and hand when any challenger no matter the size or where you came from or what your name registers. Any can fall at anytime including myself.
he thrugs his shoulder, and adjust the title.
All that aside, tonight we are in Nashville, Tennessee!
Pop as Shia takes a moment to gather his thouhts.
A place where stars have been in the music industry, and other interests else where. A city that I know alot of southerners who do indeed love their wrestling more than anybody. There have been lots of wrestlers who came out of Tn like Jerry the King Lawler, and etc.
Pop for the names for the past.
Tonight, you people are in for a treat as not only will you see Lock Up stars, but Mayhem stars well. In a Lock Up vs. Mayhem house show. The matches have already been determined, but it will be announced later on just before the matches start.
So you could see myself out back in this ring later tonight kicking someone's ass, and taking their soul with him till he's done. You can see our debutante champion or another champion in action, or maybe not a champion at all. You just never know since the staff will be picking the matches. One that will not happen is being disappointed.
If I am on the card against anyone, its going to be a fight for that person, and its nothing personal, but you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time. Plain, and simple! That is all for now.
he drops the microphone, and his music plays. He rolls out of the ring with title in hand, and makies his way up to the ramp. he looks back for a moment, then dissappears through backstage.
