The show opens with Shelby standing in the middle of the ring, mic in hand, and giving the camera a silent kiss as she proceeds to get a little something off her chest. "I'm pretty sure all of you know my name already, so I doubt any of you need to hear my theme music, or have to sit through another Shelby Steele introduction, so I'm going to cut right to the chase." The crowd, rather uncertain on how to treat Shelby, seems to be split in two, one half for, and the other against. "You know, there's something about management around here, that, well, somewhat pisses me off. You see, last month, I got pulled into the Debutante Tournament, without any prior knowledge. Of course, I wouldn't say I wasn't prepared, I gave you guys a good showing regardless, but for the second month in a row I get another strip of paper as I entered the building, and it reads this."
Shelby pulls out the strip of paper, putting on her best impression of Kimberly Masters. "To whom it may concern, I, the lovely, and powerful Kimberly Masters have come upon a decision regarding the triple threat match between Lessien Melwasul, Veranica Styles, and until now, an undecided third opponent. Well, your lovely LockUP General Manager has come upon a decision. The victor of the match between the overly flamboyant Jennifer Drew, and the absolutely marvelous Shelby Steele, will be placed into said triple threat match for the GCW Debutante Title.
Good luck ladies, hugs and kisses, Kimberly Masters."
Allowing the crowd to react, Shelby shrugs, and throws the paper in the crowd, "Okay, I admit, I embellished the memo a bit but that's the beside the point. The fact is, it looks like Jenny and I putting on our own mini-Debutante Tournament which only involves two matches; and because of this, I felt like last month's tournament, Jenny and I need to add a classic match stipulation." A sly smile comes across her face as she the crowd begins to grow curious on what Shelby seems to have in mind. "Seemingly it seems that Jenny and I can't seem to stay in the ring. We've fought in the turnbuckle corner, we've fought next to the announcer's table, we've fought near every inch of the barricade, and even then, we are both still standing; even after Last Woman Standing match. Go figure." She then leans in a turnbuckle corner, and looks towards the entrance ramp. "So, what kind of match is left? A steel cage? A hardcore match? Extreme rules? No, no, no. You see...those don't serve us justice." Shelby then jumps up on the top turnbuckle, and sits on it, very comfortable-like. "If there's one match that symbolizes being better than someone. If there's one match that proves you're higher up on that pedestal, and if there's one match where you're standing high and tall, better then every single person watching you, it's a...ladder match."
The crowd begins to get anxious as the anticipation between another Shelby and Jennifer match begins to get heavy. "Jenny, audience, in-case any of you happened to be born underneath a rock, in a ladder match, there aren't any pins, there aren't any submissions, and there aren't any knock outs. All you do, is simply climb a ladder, grab whatever we have dangling at the top, and claim your victory over not only your opponent, but the people watching you as well. Ultimate clarity on who happens to be better than who." After doing hand movements of climbing an imaginable ladder, she jumps off the top turnbuckle and glares near the tron area. "So, Jenny, how does that sound?"
