An opportunity! (Anyone who wants a shot)

[Shia Storm]

Since no one wants to take advantage of calling me out for a shot at this title around Shia's waist. Shia will just have to send out an open challenge, and have just get a challenger that way since it seems no one is braze enough to do it themselves.

Shia has the title in hand as he walks backstage towards the rampway. Shia's music hits, and the crowd goes crazy for their Lock Up champion. The lights are dark in the arena, and the pyro is going as usual. Shia steps onto the stage after the pyro had died down, and he steps right through with the title on his shoulder.

There was no waisted motion as Shia didn't seem in the best moods at the moment, but no one can guess why at this point. Guess everyone will be finding out soon enough. Shia speaks (already gotten the microphone from the announcer).

There seems to a problem with how things have went tonight.

Tonight is the night of my first defense of the Lock up Championship!

A night for someone to get a chance to try to take this title from me.

So far no one has stepped up to the plate, and challenged me to a shot for this title.

It seems like they either forgetten that we do have champions in this company, or just wasn't brave enough to take a chance at the man who holds this title proudly, and with respect.

At this point, someone will be challenging me tonight for this title. I don't care if it is the punk BP, or a rising star such as Mr. Divine. You could be someone that people may not of heard of yet, but have the drive, and want-to. To make it in this business!

If that is you at all, come on down, and you, and I will be fighting for this title.

Kenzo's music fills the arena, as he makes his way to the ring.
He slides under the ropes and trats to speak...

"Mr. Storm..... I answer challenge. I here for good competition. As you Champion, you can give Kenzo that. I have no match, and try to make name here....so I come to answer your challenge. I see you in ring, and you are very good fighter. I know I not deserve title match, for I do nothing here, but if somehow I beat you, that make Kenzo big star... something Kenzo want. I have respect for you, I not come for disrespect, I just come for fight. Will you let Kenzo have match with you for to be Champion?

Kenzo waits for an answer....

Just as shia didn't want happening, someone that is a little set behind the ears coming out to be his first title defense, but seeing as no one else the balls to do so. Why not.

Now normally someone in your position challenging for this title would be out of the question, but seeing as I do need an opponent tonight. Managements wants the title on the line tonight, and I do the same. Your match is granted, and You, and I will be fighting for this title later tonight!

The crowd gives their cheers, and boos while shia moves on to his next statement.

With that said, you are getting yourself into something that I know if you have been in before, and doesn't matter too much. You think you can handle the big spotlight even though you are probably a little wet behind the years in this business.

You think that you are going to walk in this ring later tonight, and prive this belt away from me? This just won't happen although you'll be trying, this will not be your night.

No disrespect to you, but you are in the wrong place at the wrong time! You see I'm a little pissed off at this whole situation with no one challenging for this title, and I had to just give away title shots to unknown, and that doesn't sit well with me. You see you are going to get one of an ass kicking just because you accepted! Your soul will be taken, and be a new man once I'm done breaking you down until you can't go anymore!

Kenzo shows a look of shock on his face, as the Champion actually accepted his challenge, although obvious not exactly the match the Champ wanted.
Kenzo begins to speak again....

"I thankful for shot at title. Sorry, I not who you expected to come to challenge, but respect that you give Kenzo shot anyways. Kenzo see shot at big time, and to be in ring with you will give Kenzo much learning....learning that Kenzo need. I can expect one on one match? Kenzo like for be fair clean fight. Kenzo like that type match very much. I hope you have some respect for Kenzo to answer challenge when others do not. I will try hard to give good fight and have good match."

Kenzo stands on the stage, still wondering if he really did bite off more than he could chew answering the challenge of the Champ. But to be where he wanted to be, Kenzo knew he had to be at the right place at the right time, and this was exactly the time it was, although Storm stated otherwise. Challenging the top guys didn't hurt either. Who knows, maybe just maybe, with Storm mad at the world, he could pull off the upset and win, although he didn't expect it. Just to be in a title match so early on in his career would get people to notice just what Kenzo possibly could do.

No need to be saying sorry rookie. There should be no shame in anything from here on out that you do in my presence. You were brave enough to come out here, and face the Lock up champion.

If you got that much in ya to do so, that all the world to ya, and respect is given somewhat, but you going to have to earn in the ring where you counts the most.

For you to even have a chance in this match, you need to get past the gitters. Get past that I shouldn't be here mindset because you are here, and now in my yard. There's no backtracking or getting out of the position you are in. Normally the champion is the one hunted, but I plan to destroy your soul, mind, and body in the worse way. Why because like I said before, you accepted my challenge.

Are you willing to head the extra mile tonight to get the victory? You better get in that mindset to do so. Once you realize that this won't be no walk in the park, and play nice. Once you are in that mode I need to do whatever it takes to beat this big man, you could be already down for the count. You following me? Any last words before tonight?

Kenzo listened to the words spoken by Storm, and he took in everything that he was saying. Kenzo knew this was gonna be challenge, but that was why he joined GCW in the first place. He saw alot of talented superstars here, and Storm was one of them. Just to have an opportunity to prove himself so early in his young career, Kenzo was excited at the possibility of, maybe, one day being called 'Champ'. This was his time....and no time to fail, for he knew this night just be his one and only chance for a while, if ever. So he knew he needed to take advantage...right then and there... and do whatever was needed to win the match. He knew with reward comes sacrifice, and he was ready to lay it all on the line.... or so he hoped he was.
Kenzo stood with the mic and began to speak his final words before his 'date with destiny'....

"Kenzo will learn much from you, Mr. Storm. But you might just learn from Kenzo too. To underestimate opponent not good sometime. Kenzo rookie here, but I see chance at great times, so I tell you.... Kenzo only GCW match 3-way, and he get double team most of match. Things very different this time....this time Kenzo fight one-on-one, all or nothing.... You keep think that you take Kenzo soul, mind..... just know that Kenzo do whatever he need to do to take chance and make good match and prove for respect to Kenzo.... When at end of match, they call new LockUp! Champion.....Kenzo Yoshi!.... you know that you have made mistake underestimate Kenzo. With that say, Kenzo leave now, need meditate before match... I see you at match, Mr. Storm...."

With his final words spoken before the match, Kenzo walks behind the curtain to the backstage area, already thinking about the task at hand, and hoping his dream comes true.... becoming a holder of a GCW Championship.
