OOC: This picks up about a half hour after the ending of the "Chicago is Now Home" thread.    Just no more then a half hour later. The limo of Brandon Payne arrives to the "Ditka's" restuarant. BP steps out of the limo and is greeted at the front door by a waiter. The waiter then proceeds to lead BP to a table reserved for him & Sebastian (Avenger). As BP takes a seat. The waiter asks:  Waiter: Sir, may I get you a drink ? <Brandon.Payne> - No sir. I'm fine really, thank you. Anyway, are you the guy that also talked to Sebastian before hand when he reserved this spot ? Waiter: Sebastian....Sebastian.. oh YES ! Sebastian Crowe you mean. Yes Yes ! He said for me tell you that he will be around 11:00 pm. Payne looks up at a clock nearby and it reads approximatly 10:48. <Brandon.Payne> - Damn... I still got wait another twelve minutes for old man river to show up. Why couldn't Sebastian just tell me this a head of time ? It sure as hell could've saved me from rushing down here and verbally abusing the limo driver along the way. Hell, I could've stopped at a nearby convient store and grabbed a few 'cold ones' and chugged them down while waiting. I mean its just...
The Waiter cuts BP off Waiter - If you would just calm down sir and... <Brandon.Payne> - CALM DOWN !! I AM CALM YOU IDIOT !!! (BP yells loudly at the waiter. Everyone in the restuarant stops eating and looks over at BP's table. Wondering what all the yelling and comotion was about).
<Brandon.Payne> - Bah ! What are you guys staring at !? Turn around and mind your own damn business ! Don't you see I'm having a conversation with Mr.... Mr....
Waiter: My name sir is Mr. Wong.... Johnson Wong to be exact. And I don't appreciate your rudeness and abscenaties. <Brandon.Payne> - (obvously ignoring Mr. Wong and continuing his rant on the Yeah thats right ! You heard Mr. Ding-A-Ling everyone ! Turn around and go about your business'... Turns his attention back over to Mr. Wong <Brandon.Payne> - And as for you. Why don't you make yourself useful and go grab a drink... a nice tall glass of Coors Light will do the trick. And while your at it... why don't go to the back and go 69 a grizzly bear, you freakin' piss ant !
Feeling none too pleased about there remarks. The waiter, keeps his cool, and turns the other cheek. As he politely agree's to Payne's demands and goes to the back to get him a drink. As this happens, Payne leans back in his chair and kicks his feet up on the table. As he impatiently waits for Sebastian's arrival. |

As the clock hits 11:00 PM there is some noise coming from outside. A black limo pulls up and a crowd of people run to it. The driver gets out of the car and security immediately hold the crowd back. The driver opens the door and from the limo there are 3 people that come out of the limo. Mike Ditka comes out first alongside of him is Michael Jordon. Then Sebastian Crowe aka The Avenger comes out with no face paint but in common clothes on. They walk in laughing and talking about things. The host opens the door as they walk in and escort them to the "best" table the restaurant has.
Mike DitkaLook I don't want us to be interrupted. We got a huge dinner tonight and give me my table. And tell me you did not treat Brandon Payne badly. You better of treated him like you treat me or you will be on the street.
HostWell sir there was a disturbance but don't worry I feel things are good now.
Ditka looks a little worried but they all go to their table where they see Brandon waiting for them. A few fans try to mug the 3 stars but security puts them in their place. The men find their place and sit with Brandon Payne with security around the table to make sure no "funny" business happens.
The Avenger looks at BP and realizes that he is a little late.
Oh dude! Sorry! I forgot about being here at 8 PM. Surely you have not been here 3 hours waiting on us? Just that I had to call a friend of mine in Orlando back plus had MJ call me about a photoshoot. He got me this huge deal with Nike and Gatorade. So I had to go and sign some contracts for that. It is a multi-million dollar endorsement. But hey, MJ is here and I am sure there is more opportunities. You should really do that because it will elevate you and maybe bring movie deals or commercials your way. And really I will start some things in '08.
Then I got side tracked with Ditka. He had his limo pick me up and we went to "Soldier Field" to check out the nostalgia over there. Matter of fact, I will be leaving to tour ESPN as they want me to do one of their classic commercials. So it has been a huge business day for me. So I do apologize for all of that. But with that said don't worry, ESPN is picking up the tab tonight and I know we got a huge contract with GCW and all. But hey this could be a huge marketability for the both of us, ya know?

BP thinks to himself as he hears The Avenger excuse for being late. BP can only feel even more bitter and angry then before after all this BS that was spewing from Sebastian's mouth: <Brandon.Payne> - So, Mr. "Air-Jordan" wants The Avenger to be in a photoshoot ? And he gets all these great deals commericial deals ? And what do I GET ! Not a freakin' thing ! I'm literatly ten seconds away from just standing up and knocking the hell out of him in front of everybody.
But then again... if I do.
I know these guards will come after me with everything they've got. And the last thing I need is another bad publicity stunt. And who the hell does Avenger then he is anyway ? It was ME that brought his career back to life and what do I get ? 2nd best. He's Michael Jordan to my Scottie Pippen. And I'll NEVER forget the time I had won the World Title. I had fans mocking me and calling me a 'transitional' champion. Yet they would cheer there heads off for this yahoo !
But.... Its best that I calm my temper... just for now and play it safe. *BP greets Avenger and says* <Brandon.Payne> - Oh hey dude ! HaHaHa ! Oh no no. I just got here a few mins. ago. And already made friends with a couple of ppl here and our waiter !
*The Waiter (Mr. Johnson) and the others here this comment and just give BP a dirty look of distain & disgust. As they seem none to pleased with his previous antics*.  
<Brandon.Payne> - Great to hear you have some good things going on with your life & career thus far. Not too many of those opportunites pop up to just everyone ya know. I mean, I give anything to be in your shoes right now (BP, obviously deep-down inside, feels a bit differently  ) <Brandon.Payne> - Anyway, its great we can work together again. I'm sure it will be interesting. I think its safe to say that despite past differences. We can always bring out the best in each other and make for a great wrestling show week after week... wouldn't you agree ? |

The Avenger looks pleased that BP isn't totally pissed off at him for dropping the ball.
Oh yeah! It was a huge thing back in the day. You know when we ran side by side and tearing up the whole wrestling world. So many great times we had on the road and just becoming the best ever to get in the ring and the "diamonds" in the organizations we have been in. Heck, I can remember the day when the greatest wrestlers were aligned in one huge group. You remember? You recall the day when we first met and I came to bail you out of a severe situation with those Kiss Wannabes? I know I remember it. And then we aligned to be the greatest wrestling stable in wrestling history.
The Avenger ponders that as he daydreams about all the good times.
Man those were the days. I mean look at us now! You have went and done some great things in your career and here we are once again doing what we do best. Man just thinking of the old days bring a fire back in my life. Just thinking about how we tore up towns and bodies along the way is the inspiration for me to continue doing what I did best. I can see only great things in the future. I mean just think of it. Man just the glimpse of things makes me want to destroy everyone in GCW and let them all know who the Avenger is. Not to mention to catch up with some old friends along the way.
The Avenger daydreams more about how he started and his success.
Dude I am glad you are here with us tonight to enjoy this meal. Just catching up has made me hungry and don't mean the food really. So what do you think about the place, BP? Isn't this what I thought it would be and aren't you itching to get back in the ring and take out all the posers just like we did back in the day?

Although, I wouldn't call that particular as a case of the Avenger 'bailing me out of a bad spot' kinduv thing. I mean, I could've easily taken out Mr. "God of Thunder" & "Nosferatu" by myself if I wanted to. But released too. That it would be more wise to have backup. Which is where you & the rest of the ReVolution came into play.

Cool. You need to try the "Soldier Field" steak. I had one went I came in a few weeks ago and it was awesome. But with that said, you know I was debating how to make my intentions known to the guys here in Chicago. Because the GCW needs someone that can boost ratings. And we both know that we were the "gems" that can boost such things. I mean I think right now on what sucker that the GM of GCW will throw at me? Wonder if his health insurance is paid up. You know?
But hey enough of that. Are you building an army like how we had back in the day or are you and Stace just going to do things your way? I know that when GCW signed ya that they expected great things from you. Just after my talks with them and the advertisers that I have talked to that my pocketbook is deeply fat. They pretty much brought me in because they knew the talent that I got. But after seeing some of the old faces it seems that they got themselves a pool of talent.
The Avenger is wondering where the hostess is as he keeps looking at his menu and talking.
You know BP I will be there cheering you on as you work your match. I will be by your side the whole way as my friends prepare for success. Just know if you need someone to back ya like the good ole days then you know I will be there to support you like always. Never know maybe we could tag like we did before in a match or two? Never know we may even headline the PPV's like we did as well. And by seeing how I have been treated then I must give back and that more or less means dropping souls off at the county hospital. I already got it in my contract that I am not liable for any injuries that I will inflict. And with that said, Chicago better look out because they call this place "Chi-Town" and the city of fire. I guess after all the World Championships this town has had. But then again when you look at us they will know this town as the "Inferno".
The Avenger just smiles as his ego is being displayed even more.

Oh I understand dude. I am sure Stace is waiting on you but it was glad that you came out anyway. Good to catch up and you got to meet two other legends besides ourselves tonight. But anyway, I can get you the hook up on commercials and things if you ever decide to do that. Just let me know and will get ya some info and the number of my agent.
And remember I am always here to support ya. Good luck to ya in GCW and you know I will be there when you need me. But since you are leaving then allow me to give you this.
Avenger gives him a card and it is a $500 gift card to eat at "Ditka's".
Can't wait to see you at the arena later. But you know I will look much different. The "game face" will be on like always. Give Stace my regards. Next time bring her with ya.
