Matches in Question: Brent Starr vs Corey Hollows Anthony Ramirez vs Jin Remmy
Those were the ones I at least got to watch most of the way through during my very busy simming of nearly the entire MayheM card through the course of a day and a half, both were short compared to most of the rest of the shows, and ending via stolen finisher or super dirty move, which the staff mostly agrees upon being an unfair advantage, one, that in my opinion, could probably be a major flock to one of these two fighting styles much like we saw with the Tazz AI last year, or Grapple/Grapple the year before. We want to nip this possible problem in the bud, by making this where the two fighting styles are only available as secondaries.
Some things we could try are to increase the momentum gain speed to Fast in the options menu, perhaps we'll see more finishers hit that way.
NOW, this wouldn't mean anything on the edit front unless you double up on the fighting styles. We can change them at the Player Select screen just by simply remembering to hit left or right, so no major edit rush would need to happen, unless you run both fighting styles, unfortunately.
Go ahead, cast your vote, and sound off about the suggestion as well as the momentum pitch.

I voted Yes.. and I honestly think we should keep the momentum charge speed at default (Normal).

Even with how finishers are managed this year? I see more Rampage/Brawler mode get ups than anything these days.

Seeing how SvR 08's A.I works, I don't think that if we even change the momentum to very fast, they'll keep doing ramapages and super dirty finishers.

I'm not sure where I stand here. Ramriez and Remmy's match was bad, no doubt, I didn't watch Starr's yet, been too distracted to really do anything, but I did happen to catch Lessein Vs Isadora. Now, Lessein's primary is obviously dirty, cause she won the match via that super dirty low blow, however, it wasn't hit until like 11 minutes into it and that was the only time it was hit. I'm not sure though. However, if it is a problem, like indicated in those two matches(heard from Remmy that his match was only like 5 minutes and checked it myself) then I'd say definitely change Dirty and Showman to Secondary only.

Well, if you change it to fast or super fast. Wouldn't that make things worse ? Like, wrestlers would be doing rampages, 'dirty finishers', 'stolen finishers', etc non stop.
I think that when it comes down to it. The matches should be more based on who has the better overall movesets instead of who is the first wrestler to pull off his/her finisher to get the win.
Lets face it. If you have a powerful finisher (say 18 damage or more). Your going to get the win usually 90% of the time after hitting it. Provided that you have done enough damage to your opponent first obviously.

Im voting yes, but Im flowing both ways. Yes because it does suck to get beat with your own finisher...even if it is Brent Starr taht beat you. Lol, but no, because people like Starr are gonna have to go though and change their moveset because they have both fightin styles. I have my opinions on that situation, but I'll keep them to myself to keep the drama to a minimum. But yeah, Im keeping my vote as yes for the secondary deal...just to keep things fair...

I myself say yes, I hated that my match against Remmy was short. I didn't like it at all, with a lot of low blow's that my CAW did to Remmy. So I say yes.

Well after watching the Remmy and Ramierez match, I would say yes to the secondary only thing. But as Corey said, those of us who have dirty/showman or showman/dirty as our primary, will have to go back and redo our movesets.

Which is why you'd have time to do so... I'm thinking just prior to next month's PPV.

What's the problem with the Showman and Dirty fighting styles? I mean both styles can be beaten. Yeah the Showman fighting styles steals people moves 90% of the time. But Fenix's match with Kyle Nobbs wasn't that bad. True he stole his finisher like three times, but the A.I. this year is even more retarded then previous years. True enough both the Dirty and Showman styles primary are basically a third finisher for them. But that's the nature of the fighting styles. They all are broken if you ask me. Some just more then others. But it's not my call. I give Fenix the Showman style as his primary for the reason of taunt my opponent, and adding insult to injury by stealing his finisher. But if people don't like getting beat by their own finisher or having their own finisher used against them. There is nothing I can do about that. I say leave it as is, but must likely it won't. So
