Boston's mouth went wide. She wasn't wearing anything ugly. Just your simple pair of jeans, a blouse, a cute little brown vest to go with it, and a stunning black jacket sitting next to her. Her everyday clothing. Continuing to whisper, she replies, "What? Now you insult my choice of clothes? What type of man are you? Rule one of picking a girl up: Don't criticize her choice of clothing." She angerly leans back into her seat, grabs her jacket, and slips it on while keeping her actions elegant as can be. She then grabs her purse and cup of coffee, and begins to jolt out of the cafe. While walking towards the exit, she turns around and continues their argument. "I don't understand how Addison could like a jerk like you, it just doesn't make sense. She's a nice girl, she doesn't date jerks. Of course I'm assuming you two are a couple, you haven't denied anything I've said concerning you two. It disgusts me!" She stops, and stomps her foot rather childishly on the ground, as if she was expecting some kind of explanation before she left. Their audience seemed to be enjoying this, thinking some affair must be going on.

Damnit woman just give in already!
He quickly reaches for his own bag a few feet away seeing her bolt towards the exit of the cafe. No. Cam was freakin lonely and bored to death being here in Chicago. Jacob was cool but...His legs weren't as nice as hers...
...Yea they're nice and the whole shibang and all but...
...
Moving on. He snatches the bag up, hearing her words the entire time as he grabs the cup of coffee and leaves his seat as well looking to the door as he responds to her words...
"Alright, alright calm down! I wasn't insulting your clothes sweetie. Calm down. Was just thinking you could wear something a bit more "revealing"?"
He could clearly see the look of shock on her face as he quickly started his advance towards her once again, the cup firmly in his hand and the bag tossed over his shoulder. He continued on as he approached his new "friend"...
"Come on sugar lips. Let's not get off to a rocky start like this eh? Let's go have a few shots at the bar down the street or somethin' hm? Hey it'll be fun. You can ride the mechanical bull if you want?..."
"..."
Finally arriving at the door himself, he looks back to the seemingly forming audience before looking back to her once again and responding smile in place again, once AGAIN glancing downwards towards those legs of hers...
"So...How about it? I'm not a bad guy, I just like to have fun. Addison loves that about me except when I end up drunk as shit and face down in her bath tub or something. Get to know me, you'll like me too. So...You game or not? I'm getting really tired of chasing you already. Sheesh. And to answer your question? No...Addison and I haven't had sexual relations...
"..."
"In a very, very, VERY long time..."
"..."
"I'm kidding...So 7-ish sound good?"

Revealing? She crosses her arms together, trying to hide herself from Cameron before continuing their little 'get together.' "Sugar lips? Sweetie?" She asks rather loudly, "You don't have the right to call me those names, we aren't even together. If you think calling me 'sweet' names is going to make me fall head over heals for you, you're entirely wrong! I don't fall for such trickery!" She turns her back towards Cameron, she was a tad relieved that Addison and and Cameron weren't together, but then again, men were known to lie in order to get what they want...wait...bathtub? "You liar!" she screams, while turning around, "Addison wouldn't allow anyone in her bathtub, she doesn't even allow me to take a shower in her bathroom whenever I go to visit, she's a little neat-freak like that, to top it all off. You can only use her bathroom if you need to do your business, and that's that!" She looks away, "I can't believe she would even consider you date worthy, your just too buff for her taste, look at those arms..." she trailed off. She was starting to notice Cameron's attractiveness, and quickly shook her head. She wasn't going to give in, not now. "Just...just no." She turned her back away from Cameron yet again, and wanted to walk away, but she couldn't bring herself to do so. "Darn it Lor," she thinks to herself, "Darn it, darn it, darn it."

She didn't bolt out of the door. Now that was surprising. Very surprising. Damn near looked like she was...Checking him out too...
...Cam slowly shifted the bag on his shoulder as he went to respond...
"Look I..."
His words were quickly halted, looking around the place and seeing that things were just becoming more and more interesting with more and more people watching on it seemed. Maybe this was a bit more attention than was needed he thought. Letting out a long sigh he stepped forward, pushing the door to the cafe open and holding it open as he responded...
"How about we take this outside then? I think we've had enough live studio audience for the day eh?...Come on...Ya' can't stay mad at me forever...Rocky start yea but at least you can't say it was boring right?...What do ya' say? A few minutes?...I'll leave you alone and disappear then if you still wanna pass on the offer. Deal?..."
He stood there, his arm extended holding the door open for her awaiting to see if she'd at least give him a few more minutes to agitate her into one lousy date. The least she can do after he sat there and sipped that sorry ass cup of coffee with her. GCW Cafe coffee sucks FTL!

Her arms still crossed, she silently allowed herself to walk outside the cafe. The crowd was dead silent as she did this, it felt like a walk of shame, each step continuing to get more and more embarrassing. When she got to the door, she quietly whispered "Deal," just enough so no one watching would hear.
"I hate you Lor," she thought to herself, as she stood outside of the cafe door, wondering why she was even doing this. "Mom always said to not let men get the best of you, but darn it!" She kicks an imaginary object off the ground as she begins to think things through. "Obviously Addison's been with this person...maybe if I just give her a call..." she begins to search for her cellphone through her purse, but couldn't find it. "What? No, no, no, I can't step back in that cafe after what just happened..." she began to search the pockets of her jacket, but no luck. "You're the worst person alive right now Lorelai, and it's all thanks to fate. Stupid planets, why did they have to align today?" She felt defeated. The future seemed inevitable.

He slowly made his way out of the cafe door himself behind her...Good view too...*Ahem*
His steps paused for a second as he once again shifted the bag over his shoulder, watching as she seemingly fumbled through her purse for something . She seemed to be almost distraught over the entire ordeal. Or just extremely agitated with him maybe. Can't blame her. He DID pour it on pretty thick in there.
The sound of the cafe door coming to a close could be heard as he slowly approached her from behind, clearly seeing that she knew it was him closing in. Moments later he found himself standing directly beside her, a smile on his face as he glanced down making eye contact with her as he spoke...
"*Sigh* Well...Now that the audience is gone...Let's be a little more civil and appropriate for being out in the public eh?..."
"..."
"Look I was just kidding back there really. Don't take that type of stuff out of my mouth seriously. Addison and I aren't on that type of level so no worries there...Go ahead and call her if you want. I'm sure she'd tell you all about me. But yea, we're good friends..."
He paused again, clearing his throat as he gazed out into the massive parking lot of the cafe. Seconds later he responded again...
"So you don't wanna at least think about the date request then huh? I'm not some freak off of the streets lookin' to re-create some Law & Order episode. I like to have fun ya' know? That's all. And by the look in your face back there?...Fun is something you could probably stand to have a bit more of. "
"...Christ...I'm bored to death. Only so much you can do with your best drinking buddy before gay rumors start circulating ya' know? So I figure, here's a woman who seems to be pretty nice and all, sitting all alone, hell why not go for it. But hey if the answers really no? That's cool I guess...No harm done."
He then finally turns back to her again, extending his hand for a shake with a trace of a smile on his face...
"No hard feelings?...And...Would it be too much to know your REAL name?...I'm not in the database of sex offenders ya' know?...Heh Heh..."

She softly sighed, and shook his hand. They did create quite a scene, and now that things seemed to be settled down, he was starting to grow on her, he seemed nicer than she thought. She closed her eyes, "My nam...I can't call Addison," she admits, "I...forgot my phone." She sounded distraught, she didn't know what she wanted to do now. She could go out with him, have a pleasant time, or she could deny him, and show him that pick-lines don't magically work in any situation. Give in, or keep fighting? Blah, it was all just frustrating, "I'm going to go get my phone on the table...I'll be right back." She reaches for the door handle, getting ready to feel the shame of heading back into an environment where she completely embarrassed herself.

"O....K....."
He slightly shrugged it off as she made her way back into the cafe once again. He then made his way towards the steps that led up to the entrance of the cafe itself, stopping just short of stepping down and taking the first steps to a full exit of the establishment where they had put on quite the show a few moments ago. He let out a long breathe, glancing out over the parking lot again as a few more of the GCW superstars seemingly coming and going passed him by as he continued to stare into empty space.
He stood there thinking over the entire ordeal, almost bursting into laughter over it all. She had to think he was a damn madman by now. And he wondered why she was saying no to a date? Yea, Cam's not the wisest is he? Oh well, can't blame him for trying. Hell just look at her.
A little under a minute had passed, and just as he glanced down at his watch to check the time, the barely audible sound of the door opening again could be heard. He quickly turned as he switched the bag to his opposite shoulder yet another time, locking eyes with her as he spoke up...
"So...Am I gonna have to stand here while you make a phone call or...Sending me on my way disappointed or...?...What's the deal?..."

Boston gave him a smile, a simple smile, not the 'I can't believe it's not butter' smile, but just your regular old smile. She honestly couldn't believe that Cameron allowed her to get the phone herself. You would think that if you're trying to impress someone, you would offer to do something that she doesn't want to do. Weren't her actions obvious? She shrugged to herself, thinking that doing so probably makes her look even more stupid then she already does. Suddenly, the nineties theme to the Batman animated series plays. Excited, Boston checks her phone, only to find it's not hers. She gives Cameron a look. "Don't tell me you gave her the same theme for when she calls..."

Truthfully her words almost went unheard as he had seemingly began to stare in her direction as she emerged from the cafe once again. He knew it had to be hard for her to go back in there after the way things went with their little argument, but he figured he threw himself out on a limb asking her out like A HUNDRED TIMES!!!...
Then she could do the same and go out on a limb. Suddenly he hears the faint sound of music, a ring tone to be exact, and his attention is diverted away from his little trance like state of staring into her eyes. Reaching down and pulling his phone from his bag once again he pulls it out slowly, his eyes never leaving hers as he responds with a surprising and dumbfounded look on his face...
"I...I guess I did..."
Taking the phone and holding it up so that she could plainly see the display screen again he comments again...
"...That's...Weird...Quite a coincidence wouldn't you say?...Some would say even a..."Sign" or something..."
His words once again trail off as that trance like state seemed to find it's way to his face again, not even realizing the phone was just constantly ringing over and over again . Poor guy has it bad already eh?...

"You can't leave your lover hanging," she teased, "Answer the phone." She crossed her arms again, as she waited for Cameron to answer Addison's call. Apparently, they were more closer than she thought. She couldn't remember the last time Addison called her. Was it a month ago? Two? She softly sighed again. Addison most really love this guy to be calling him like this. She could have just left, right then and there, but alas, the call, and what Addison had to say kept her interested. Maybe it just the normal conversation? The how are you, the hellos, the regular good-byes. She didn't know.

He hears her words...Clear as day as he raises the phone to his ear, his thumb on the send button that would connect him to his good old friend. He pauses, making eye contact with her once again. He thought the situation over for a second, not connecting the call JUST yet.
Pros and cons. Sure she could confirm that she knew Cam and that he wasn't some sick ass pedophile but...The ultimate con was...
...
...Now that was close. He almost messed this entire situation way past what he did back in the cafe. Addison was a dear friend but...He had to see this through. He slowly lowered the phone back to his side, still hearing the ring tone playing as he responded...
"Can't leave my lover hanging?..."
"..."
"Fine...Then I won't..."
His hand raises again, pressing the power button this time, cutting the phone completely off and silencing the ringing sound once and for all as he looked back to her...
"Now...Where were we?..."

Her eyes widened, and then she began to laugh. "Are you serious?" She walked towards Cameron, and slapped him playfully on the shoulder. "Addison doesn't like it when people don't answer her phone calls. Thanks to you, she's going to get uber paranoid, and try calling again later. Trust me on this one, wait, why am I telling you this? You should already know." She stuck her tongue out. "Well, Lorelai Gilmore has to head to her car now." She said this rather fast, seeing if Cameron caught on. "I guess I'll be seeing you later?"

"Pfftt...She'll live I'm su..."
What...Did she just...Nice...She got that one in real nice and sneaky like. He couldn't help but smile brightly before responding...
"Aha!...Got'cha!...Lorelai Gilmore...Lorelai...Damn...Beautiful name. But now I know how Addison and you became friends..."
"..."
"But hey...."
His steps narrowed the space between them as he spoke up once again...
"...Let me carry...Um..."
"..."
"Something...For you. Hell even the purse or whatever. Anything. Let me carry it to your car for you. Oh and what time should I pick you up again?"

"Who said we're going out?" She asks as they found their way at Boston's car already. She liked to park close to the business at hand. "You have my name, but you don't have my number, my address, or even my love for that matter. You still have a long way to go my friend." She laughed as she opened the door to her car, and got inside. "To quote Mary Jane Watson, and a loving friend of mine, who loves to say this line whenever we leave eachother, see you later tiger." She then closes the door, starts her car, and waits for Cameron to move out of the way, so she can pull out, but not before putting on her superstar sunglasses. Who cares if it's winter, the sun is still out, isn't?
