Jessie had some very good points. Mikki was in a sticky situation. She should tell Jeffery that she was here but she wasn't sure she wanted to actually. She wasn't sure she wanted to be with him right now. She really wasn't. Keeping her eyes on the road Mikki tries to think up a solution to this problem as they reach closer & closer to Chicago...and a possible end to her relationship with Jeff. Trying not to focus on that Mikki looks away from the road and focuses on the radio to find the classic rock station. It only takes a couple of seconds as she finds it and cranks the radio to try and blast her thoughts out of her head. |

Trying to focus Mikki’s attention or better said her thoughts in another direction, Jessie decide to speak about the upcoming wrestling show they two of them will perform today. Its just are maybe 6 hours till the show starts and neither of them know yet who their opponents will be.
“Hey Mikki, … I hope you are ready for the match, ya know … still remember all the moves we have talked about.”

With her thoughts still focusing on her personal situation Mikki had forgotten all about the match they were going to preform tonight. It had slipped her mind totally. Looking at Jess Mikki asks her.

“Well ... we are traveling to Chicago cause we have been hired to wrestle for a small Indy promotion. You and me gonna team up to face … whoever they are … in an hardcore match. Hardcore match because that is one of this crazy over the top hardcore companies. CMZ … CMX … hm … something like that. So we both get extreme … beat the shit out of 2 people and earn some nice cash. Cash we really need honey girl, cause I don’t have any money left over … cause Jessie girl somehow trust wrong people and … swuppps …. Company of her good old daddy was gone and money as well.”

Mikki really didn't remember how she got talked into a match for some garbage wrestling hardcore promotion. Hardcore really wasn't Mikki's thing as for as she could tell. Getting her head bashed in with a steel chair wasn't what she would call wrestling...at all. It was Jessie's proffered style though so Mikki couldn't bad mouth it that badly.

“Yeah I know Mikki, you are not a fan of it … but they are paying good and to be honest with you, money is money. But there is also a 2nd thing that makes it nice to wrestle 1 show for this crappy promotion. Yeah I said crappy promotion ... cause this guys are just fucked upped assholes who have lost already all of their brain cells cause they don't have a clue how to wrestle. But thats not why we have traveled to Chicago as main reason ... Now you should listen closely …”
“There is going the Rumor around that a big new wrestling company might open its gates in Chicago and … as we both need a job … I thought it can never hurts to find out more about it … in Chicago itself.”

"I think Jeffery told me something about that...it is run by Amanda Wallace supposedly. He mentioned something about it the first time he called. I really didn't believe him. It sounded like just another rumor to me. I guess it must be true." |

“I am pretty sure she will. You have everything to be successful. You are young, talented, you got the look … the only thing that you have missed back in Detroit was the experience. You should never forgot that Lilith had and has more experience in the ring as you have. But while she stays the same your learn from all this loses, take the experience out of it and develop to an wrestler who will surpass her in anyway. Hell … people have hated Lilith more as me and that means a lot … but as said before if Mandi indeed is the owner of this company then you will have no problems to get a new job there … me on the other side … well that is a whole different subject. But anyway … we gonna get the match down, then we go shopping to buy some new wrestling gear …”
Jessie looks down at the old clothes she is wearing.
“Well I really need some new gear for a fresh new start and you as well. As far as I have seen you have already some holes in your tights.”

“Yeah … gonna wear a knee long skirt and the rest … is up to that what they have availed at the store and what I like. Not sure exactly how it will look like, but what I know for sure is that I really need a change. I ain’t Raven … so maybe I should start to develop my own style. Oh … by the way … Welcome in Chicago Mikki.”
Jessie says and points out of the window were the city of Chicago just has appeared in front of them.

Looking over at Jessie and seeing Jessie smile back at her Mikki has no choice but to smile back. Raising a hand she places it aside Jessie's cheek and caresses it softly. The 'more then friendly' feelings Mikki had for her were bubbling up again. She really was in a dilhema, she loved Jeffery...BUT there were feelings for Jessie slowly bubbling and boiling just beneath the surface. There was something about Jessie that just made Mikki feel the way she did about her...despite Jeffery.

“Well ... is a new beginning for both of us in more then 1 way. If this with the new promotion lead by Mandy is true, we might get a new job. Working for an company on an big level again, which means that the problems with the money will be gone soon as well. But in general I think this could be the first step for myself … to new greatness … new challenges and most important that I finally let this old angry and bitchy Jessie Blair behind me and start to live … as the person who I am truly. Sure I am still bitchy sometimes but on the other side I want to get out of this old … she is just a Hardcore Chick … she isn’t good enough, … just a Raven wannabe … old pathetic stuff that people seam to think about me when they hear my name”.
“Jessie Blair gonna be herself for the first time … just me … the person who I am, not the person who I have played all this years to keep people away from me. I guess … that is your fault Mikki … that you somehow have broken this shell under that I have hided for so long.”
Jessie smiles and raise her arms in the air, the cross them behind her head and lean against it. Looking out of the window she continues to talk while she watch how the building on the side of the road are passing by.
“But in the end … it is also a new beginning for you as well. Claming the spot you deserve … showing the world that you are as good as people are saying that you are and most important … becoming a great champion in this promotion of Mandy as well. “
“Oh and maybe … it’s the start of a life of love and trust between us as well … I mean … you know what I mean … I am …Shit….”

Looking away from the road again for a second Mikki looks over at Jessie and smiles at her again. Even though she hated garbage hardcore wrestling...she would do this match for Jessie...and herself. They both needed money it might also help if someone from Amanda's company happened to be scouting for talent there...though it was a far off chance.
"Wanna grab some grub when we get there Jess?"
